  1. Apparently the NK's haven't read Wernher Von Brauns books. Give them a few weeks to work the bugs out and i'm sure their missles will be flying high and long. I thought they got a few of the old Soviet nuclear missile guard when the USSR went bankrupt. -Flying ( i wonder if this is why gas prices jumped another 20 cents a gal this week) Scooter.
  2. Six Flags and Customer service: Two roads that will never intersect. When GL was SFWOA half the fountains did not work and the ones that did were gross. We'd walk up to a food booth and ask for water. They'd either say: you'll have to use a fountain or, (my personal favorite) You'll have to wait at the end of the line. Now I was standing in line before i asked for water, but they would say: well, then you'll just have to wait til there's no one in line. Usually, yelling for a MGR helped.
  3. This is great news. We're planning a PA coaster trip for next summer and this will add to it nicely. We're shooting for Idlewild, CLP, Kennywood, Waldameer, Lakemont, Delgrosso, Hershey and Dutch Wonderland.
  4. If you're talking sheer square feet under one roof, Mall of America wins hands down so far as i know. Every Spring, in Cleveland, they run the IX center amusement park in the old WWII tank plant. I think that building is like 2-3 millions square feet.
  5. And La Quinta serves fresh waffles in its breakfasts! There is no lack of places to stay or shop around geauga lake. But you can't beat free Waffles! Go with both parks. How often can you say you went on 26 differant coasters in one weekend?
  6. That might make it busier... The day to miss that park is the Cleveland Clinic Foundation day. Capacity crowd is putting it mildly.
  7. Geauga Lake is a fast park. It's an easy ten credits. We went by there last sunday. Barely 1/4 of the parking lot was full. Superman and Xflight were walk-ons. Have a safe trip.
  8. i hit like 93.... SAINT SCOOTER IN DA HOUSE!!!!!!!! i'm very drunk.... three days off in a row without having to call off!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I'll venture a guess as well: Those three risers will be for the Virtual Tony Orlando and Dawn Bots.
  10. http://www.justdisney.com/disneyland/timeline/1950s/frame.html july 17th is correct. i saw a special on Disney on the history channel last night. It was 2 hours long.
  11. I know i don't want to close my eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyes.
  12. Why does this not surprise me. It would be senseless to keep it open, but what could be more 6-flags than that? I would like to see the insurance figures on their losses for the park.
  13. I don't see that iraq is any better for us being there. When the Troops leave, the country will go back to being as they were before.
  14. THE SCOOTERS ARE BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh man, I hope they fix those! that's my favorite ride.
  15. ^actually, Mr. Hydes is for sale as is Demon Drop. http://www.italintl.com/detail_page.php?record_id=564 http://www.italintl.com/detail_page.php?record_id=565
  16. Well said, Katie! Three years ago, when my daughter played softball, one of the kids on the team died on homeplate. Just keeled over and died. Massive heart attack. She had gotten a full physical just three weeks before that game which said: Healthy. she was 12 yrs old. Did they sue the DR.? You bet they did. Was it malpractice? who knows?
  17. People say the Villian at GL is rough, which i disagree with. But on the other hand, I'm comparing it to GL's Serial Thriller which is a headbanger.
  18. ^Hospitals and anything free.... Two roads that will never meet.
  19. That's great news! Thanks for the pic of Hell Hole. I'll have to scan mine and upload 'em. I might be wrong, but isn't that the Wild Mouse in the background?
  20. Hope to fools insurance is in order. I'd sue him like there's no tomorrow.
  21. Conneaut lake would get my money. Of course, if i were a billionaire, I'd rebuild Chippewa Lake Park.
