Barbarian is my latest NoLimits coaster. I believe it is my 5th, and definitely my best. It is a wooden coaster with PTC trains, plenty of air, and some fun twists and turns. It also features a HUGE, partly enclosed helix over a lake, and a fast & furious ending through the forest. Please take the time to download this and leave comments and suggestions. Enjoy! No Limits: Storm Chaser
DBru replied to kumba830's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
First of all..... why is the launch curved? And why don't you redo those supports that the train goes through? Other than that, I actually thought it was great! lol, well, before the MCBR at least... -
Carowinds New Ride Names

The black and purple paint job was really cool on T2......for the 2.5 seasons it lasted. haha. But I just have to wonder, how much money is Cedar Fair paying for management to come up with...FLIGHT DECK? Hello? It doesn't even make sense! Come on CF, there is still faith.........or not. lol. -
What is the best Rollercoaster in the World???
DBru replied to martinb's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My personal favorite is Maverick, because it is, well.....amazing! Maverick is closely followed by MForce. I can't believe how people say it doesn't have airtime. In the back, there is major ejector air over the first (incredibly tall and steep) drop, 2 fun floater hills, and one last bunny hop that provides quite a thrill. The speed is mind-blowing too! If you're into wooden coasters, I would go to Holiday World. This is my home park, but that is not the reason I am hyping it up! The Voyage is simply astonishing... not to mention the Raven and Legend, which also pack a punch! Plus.........................FREE SOFT DRINKS! If you're into steel coaster, go to Cedar Point. You will NOT be disappointed! -

You have inspired me to start building a beautiful RCT2 park on my own! But its not working out how I planned... -

Well I'm embarrassed to post my score so I'll just say...... no one scored less than me except if you missed them all! lol. I'll admit, I've only been to Walt Disney World once (when I was 4) and it never really interested me. DON'T HURT ME! -
Vague Topics - ALL TPR MEMBERS - PLEASE READ THIS!!!
DBru replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^ And that is exactly why many members have left CoasterBuzz to come here. Also, even though we may not ALWAYS act as a family, I believe the members here are treated WAY better by not just the moderators, but also other posters in comparison to "that site." But what is all this about bumpin' it? I thought here at TPR, we POUND IT! -
Though I respect everyone's opinion here..... WHY WOULD YOU WANT HOLIDAY WORLD TO CLOSE? I mean, I agree that The Raven is somewhat over-hyped, but there is no way to overlook these things: -voyage -free soft drinks -Voyage -Splashin' Safari -VOYAGE!!!

Great job! It was really smooth and the layout was very original.

But PTC has introduced new MFlyer-ish trains, which you can expect to be showing up on TGG coasters fairly soon. Sorry to get off topic, but does anyone know why Waldameer backed out of the new trains?

Most Influential Coaster Designers
DBru replied to TheCoasterCritic's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Anton Schwarzkopf- perfected the modern loop 2. Werner Stengel- Pushed coaster limits 3. Captain Morgan- designed anti-rollbacks and the locking lap bar 4. Ron Toomer- Though he made some rough coaster, he brought us the corkscrew, tubular steel track, boomerang, cutback, 4-D coasters, Multi-looping coasters, Suspended coasters, and even the pioneer Stand-Up coasters 5. John Allen- made many significant contributions to roller coaster technology and designed some great wooden coasters -
Beech Bend could do some work on the Looping Star. The brakes haven't been stopping the train in the correct place, and they are currently only filling up the first 2 cars.

^Look a little closer.....lol. I think I see some beside "for" on the bottom row. -
Think back to your 2007 coaster season........ Can you think of any parks that could make improvements? What can parks do to provide a better experience in 2008? I think SFKK could improve in many ways. Here are a few: 1.) Re-track Thunder Run- it has SO much potential! 2.) Paint the Giant Wheel 3.) Ease up on the brakes for Road Runner Express and Greezed Lightnin' 4.) Widen the "bridge" 5.) Replace STOP with a nice piece of scenery to give a guests a good first impression of the park *Please note, I don't want this thread to turn into a "_____ Park should add a coaster because it sucks right now!" thing, so please don't post something like that.

Wow, this is an amazing coaster! It's so smooth, and the transitions are great! How long did it take you to make this? PS: The logo is cool too, how did you make it? -
Project Dark [NL]
DBru replied to CCJared's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
(Chill runs down spine) Sweet video! The music is what did it for me. Keep up the good work! Also, I'd like to make an enclosed coaster. How did you make your building? Did you have to create the walls and roof yourself? -
This is my first NoLimits coaster that isn't a recreation, and my 3rd coaster in all. It is a terrain Eurofighter that follows this story line: Your vacation in the Alps is going great! But when you begin to climb one of the steep, tall mountains, you hear a rumbling in the distance. Before you realize what is going on, you plummet down the mountain. Behind you the snow and ice begin to fall, and you are surrounded by a death-defying, natural disaster. Now, in your 8 passenger rescue vehicle, you must weave in and out of the mountains, glide over frozen waters, and dive through the deep valleys, trying to reach the safety bunker. Can you escape the AVALANCHE??? Avalanche-071228153029000.bmp Avalanche.nltrack

This was actually my second try. Like Ed said, there is barely room to expand it. ..

Sorry that it doesn't have steel supports, I couldn't get the colors right. Is there a way in NoLimits1.6 to make steel supports for a wooden coaster? Voyage.nltrack Enjoy! Voyage-071226200045000.bmp It's calling you........
