Didn't Lightnin' Loops have OTSR? How could they "lock behind her"? -
Over the off season, what parks are having work being done on their coasters to make for a better experience? This could involve re-tracking, new trains, ect. All I can think of is Morey's getting new trains/restraints for the SLC...

Construction Update Hello again! I only got one chance to swing by the park this week, but that's okay, because plenty of progress has been made so that I can provide an update! 4 projects have been completed since I talked to you last week. - 2nd Little Tyke's Timber Town Entrance - Grain Grinder - River Round-up - Memory Lane Take a look and tell me what you think! Shot0073.bmp And in this picture you can see the entrance queue to the left, and exit to the right. Come back soon for the installment of the last ride, as well as the beginning of testing! Shot0072.bmp Here you can see the small pond that riders will travel over, with the bridge in the background... Shot0071.bmp Memory Lane is an antique car ride that travels over and around obstacles on its way through the woods. Shot0070.bmp This spinning machine is a roundup ride called River Round-up. It lies beside Black Widow. Shot0068.bmp Grain Grinder is a Huss Enterprise. It is located to the left of Pizza Hut. Shot0069.bmp This is the 2nd Little Tyke's Timber Town entrance. It's not quite as large or attractive as the the main one, but I guess it will do... -

I really like Lumberjack and Maniac! The layouts looks fun and original... Where do you plan to expand? Is there more room or is the land seen in the overview all you have to work with? -

So..... is this mainly going to be a waterpark? That would be something cool that we haven't seen in a while... -
Just broke up with my girl for 4 months on Friday. I feel relieved, I was her b!tch the whole time... W/E, I'll find a better one soon enough...

Well, that was pretty good. I know you said you weren't finished, so are you planning to add a booster to the second part of the ride? It almost somes to a complete stop on one of the hills... The pretzel turn was great though! Could you please save that element and post it here? -
Where was Thunder Express at Dollywood?

I think Blazing Fury is a great experience. The drops at the end are fun and surprising, but they aren't insane... I know a lot of people whose first coaster was Blazing Fury, and they still think it is one of the most fun coasters they've ridden! -

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Sorry it has been so long. I've been to the park quite a bit since the last time I talked to you. A couple weeks have gone by, and instead of giving you an update for every visit, I thought I'd combine them all into one. So here are some pictures of the process, including the 3rd coaster, Hideout! Shot0067.bmp And I'll leave you with an overview of the park at night... All three coasters are now completed, so now all the park has to do is add some more flat rides, and maybe a restaurant or two, then it's time for grand opening! So you next update! Shot0066.bmp The park also added some landscaping around the backside of The River Wheel... (in front of Hideout) Shot0065.bmp An overview of the Hideout. Shot0064.bmp Later at around 6:30, the roofing was also done! They also added the Hideout logo near the entrance. Shot0062.bmp These next few pictures were taken a week after the last ones. All work on the walls were finished at this point. Shot0061.bmp While exiting, there is a chance that the train will zoom right under you! Shot0060.bmp And within hours the top part had been completed! Shot0058.bmp They also started work on the building that day. Shot0058.bmp After a few days the track-work and supports are finished! Shot0057.bmp Here is the train sitting idle in the soon-to-be station. Shot0056.bmp This is Hideout, the new, enclosed, Vekoma Boomerang! -
Kentucky Kingdom (SFKK, KK) Discussion Thread

On what side of the tower was the broken cable? I ask this because the main control booth is inside a large metal pod nearest to the side facing Thrill Park Theatre and Papa John's Stadium. If the incident was taking place on the side facing Road Runner Express, I could see how the operators in the control booth did not notice it as it was happening... -

Looks insane! lol IMO, wooden coasters on NoLimits are almost always more fun to design/ride than steel coasters. And that's strange, because I feel the exact opposite in real life... Keep up the "insaneness"! -
Actually, Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios has a backwards section in the dark. The Beast was the first roller coaster to exceed 7,000 feet in length.

^I'm guessing that Cedar Point figured that no one in America knew about MS in Japan, so they advertised it to be the biggest and best.
