Six Flags Indiana Adventures

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Hey again! Well, it turns out that Domino's refused to sponsor the park, so Indiana Adventures went to Pizza Hut, who quickly accepted the offer! (I am more of a Pizza Hut fan anyway......) Construction on the restaurant started a few days after I talked to you last. It was finished two days ago. Here are some pictures, enjoy! Shot0010.bmp The new Pizza Hut! Shot0012.bmp Looks like quite a large construction site... Could this be the location of one of the coasters? Shot0011.bmp Uh oh, what is that I see? -
I really like this. It was very smooth, had a fun, twisted layout, and the transitions were great! Good work!

NL Woodie - Confused

Though it was very crazy and unrealistic, that had to be THE most creative wooden NL coaster I have seen yet! (Mostly) Good work! -

How did you get the water to reflect the bridge? I went to options, but there is nothing there about water reflection..... -

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Well its been a week or two, and work is steadily progressing. It was true that the park was adding a giant ferris wheel, you can see it in a few pictures below. It seems the park is focusing on one attraction at a time, and though the wheel was put up quickly, work may need to pick up the pace in order for everything to open on the scheduled date next April. A bit of unexpected news, the park seems to have re-landscaped the inside of the entrance plaza. They have cleared out the oasis, and added a small rose garden arranged into the letters IA, which I'm sure stands for Indiana Adventures. Do you think this was a smart move? Onto some pics... Shot0009.bmp Ohwoooo, Ahhhhhhh! I believe the park is planning for a water-jet/light show in front of the ferris wheel every night, right before closing. Could be interesting... Shot0007.bmp The whole park..... so far. Shot0006.bmp The River Wheel... (I'm guessing it got its name from the Ohio River, which boarders Indiana?) Shot0008.bmp To this! What do you think? Shot0003.bmp So in a matter of days, we go from this........ -

On #2, if I download that scenery pack, will I have to restart on my park? -
Well, I would like to start out by saying that this is my first real RCT3 park, meaning that it will be the first time that I don't just throw in crazy coasters and fill in the empty spaces with flats. I'm going to try hard to theme the park well and make it a really beautiful, realistic park. With that said, I would like to forewarn you that I have no extra scenery packs installed all my computer besides the SteelWorx for custom supports, which I have never used. So this will be a learning experience for me. Also, I would like to thank coasterdude5 for inspiring me to reinstall RCT3 after many years of sitting on the shelves. I almost decided not to post the process of this park, for I know that I will never be able to stand up against his skills. So as I build up this park, I request that you leave me comments and suggestion, so eventually I might come out with a great product! Here we go......... Hello, I am a resident of Greenwood, IN, a somewhat small city about 15 miles from Indianapolis. I work in Indianapolis as a head entertainment adviser for AcBhar Inc. In other words, nothing with a recreational purpose is going to be built in the city without going through me. Last summer, July 16, 1993, I was introduced to a proposal in which Mark Campbell, son of the man who introduced Electric Park to our company 11 years ago (sadly the plans fell through), requested permission to open a 135 acre amusement park in Greenwood. He was willing to put forward 13 million dollars for the first year. I skimmed over the plans, which included 3 roller coasters, and almost a dozen other rides. It was not stated if the park would be themed or traditional, or if any live entertainment and restaurants were in the works. Though the idea sounded fun, I was already working on other projects, so I pushed this aside. 3 months later, I was sent a better-planned out proposal. Here is what it read: The project was approved on November 12, 1993. Work began two weeks ago, on February 3rd, 1994. Being the coaster enthusiast I am, I have been following this park for the last two weeks, and plan to for a long while. Here is a logo the park sent to AcBarr along with some construction pictures I have taken over the last 14 days. Enjoy![/b] Shot0003.bmp Look at the nice little island... Notice the ground being worked on behind the island? Supposedly a giant ferris wheel or an observation tower will be placed there. What do you think? Shot0002.bmp And the entrance plaza from inside the park........ Shot0001.bmp The next few pictures were taken this morning. This is the front of the new entrance building. You can see the bright park logo on the top-front. Is it just me, or does it look a little too... bright? Shot0005.bmp Later in the same day, they added the 3rd and final gate. Shot0004.bmp This was taken the second day of construction. Looks amazing, doesn't it? Indiana_Adventures.bmp The official park logo.

DBru replied to coasterdude5's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, I just read all 86 pages today, and I would just like to say that this is THE most amazing park I have EVER seen! The history is so realistic, and read kind of like a novel to me, lol. But just keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing this awesome park with us! And though the mouse looks pretty wacky and insane, I also think it could turn out to be a great addition. -
HOTEL HELLVETICA |RCT3|
DBru replied to coasterdude5's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^Thank you, it finally worked! I loved the movie; the music was great, it was very suspensful, and the whole time I kept thinking that this could be turned into a major motion picture and be very successful! -
Launch to 162mph in just seconds on Velocity, the coaster that pushes limits to the extreme! Zip through an Immelmann at over 280ft, and plummet straight back down into a mind bending tangle of track! Just when you have a chance to catch your breathe, you realize you have stopped dead over an erupting volcano! Now you must escape the flowing lava and fumes while avoiding the Black Valley Mountains, before it is to late! Can you reach maximum VELOCITY?!?! This is my first attempt at custom supports, but you could probably tell that, lol. I also feel this is my first coaster that I used my full creativity on, even if it was a bit unrealistic... Please leave comments and suggestions! Velocity.nltrack Velocity-080120174747000.bmp velocity.bmp

Will this be on YouTube soon? The current videos stop loading after 2min. and 40sec. for some reason (for me, anyway). -

Pretty nice coaster. It is unique and a somewhat fun layout, but the last turn before the spike could use a little work... -

Dang it! I knew this wasn't going to be as easy as I thought it would be! And I already had the lift and first drop..... lol -
Two years ago, my friend and I were in the back seat of Beech Bend's Looping Star (only ones on the train) and as we hit the last turn right before the brake run, our train didn't make it up the hill, and slowly rolled back down. We went back and forth around the turn a couple times, and finally it came to a complete stop. Scary, funny.....weird! lol

I want in! I've never been to Dorney, so I'm just going to recreate the SLC. I've tried to recreate T2, but that was my first coaster and didn't work out too well.... so I'll try Thunderhawk! lol
