  1. When it comes to coaster debating, nobody wins.
  2. I think this pretty much sums it up.
  3. Great job! This is probably the first time I've really been impressed by a K'nex model (not that they're unimpressive; most of the ones I've seen are just sort of 'Meh'). Keep up the awesome work, best of luck in finishing.
  4. Regarding downloading the TPR DVDs, would they be in the same format that this one was? If so, I would definitely consider buying some, if for no other reason than to avoid the shipping cost and time. I really hope you decide to pursue this.
  5. I texted Ryan. I asked him how Doc Brown was doing.
  6. I thought it was awesome, I wish I had called in. Robb, you should do this more often, it was absolutely hilarious. BUFFET!
  7. There have been times where I've seen posts by a mod and thought that it was a little harsh, but when I think of it from their perspective, they're really just keeping the site clean and organized, which I really appreciate.
  8. I nerded out with my gamertag: Intaman I kinda like the old dashboard better. Certain things about the new are nicer I guess, but the old made more sense to me, and I was used to it. It'll grow on me, I'm sure.
  9. On the subject of the viral campaign, has anyone called the number on Clawshun's 'About Us' page?
  10. Holy crap, spoke too soon! Shane's is great!
  11. LOL! Already has my vote! Don't worry; NOBODY lives in Montana.
  12. Q1) Male Q2) 15 Q3) Both are great; for overall experience I probably prefer (good) wood. Q4) Sitting with minimal restraints it by far my favorite. Q5) El Toro at SFGAdv Q6) Speed and intense airtime Q7) Height Q8) Definitely Q9) I'm not sure I quite understand the question; but I VERY much prefer more extreme coasters (in forces, airtime, etc.). Q10) For me, it's more about the I'm in. Theming is certainly a good way to better that mood, so I guess it's good. Q11) I don't really care, both have advantages. Particularly with wooden coasters, not knowing the layout is better. Q12) Probably long-long, to a point. A good coaster is always worth more time than a bad one, regardless of length. Q13) I personally want to see more extreme rides, but with less overrestraint. OSTRs, in particular, are overused.
  13. Wow, some of these pictures are just ridiculously good! My favorites are the first one of Talon at sunset, and the last pictures of Talon (it may not have come out how you'd hoped, but it's still a VERY cool and interesting angle) and White Water Landing. And was that one picture of Steel Force taken from the employee parking lot? How'd you get there?
  14. Mine too; I guess it's true that great minds think alike. I seem to have trouble with going to Dorney when large groups are there. On Sunday, there were the Jewish people, and the last time I went, there was some group of chorus girls who all dressed and looked the exact same (really, it was bizarre), and sang on half the rides. It was crazy how many of them there were.
  15. Hey, I was at Dorney on Sunday too! Did you happen to see a skinny 15-year old wearing a grey Dunder Mifflin T-shirt or a dark brown Knoebels sweat shirt? Anyway, I'm with you that Dorney is a nice park (more so than a lot of people give it credit for), and it seems you had fun there.
  16. Try downloading the PDF.. Thanks, I missed that at first. Yeah, I guess I just meant a 4D with predetermined rotation (although the Zac Spins look awesome), along the lines of X.
  17. This is awesome! I've been hoping B&M or Intamin (especially B&M) would make a 4D, and I really look forward to seeing one of these in a park eventually. Can anyone tell how this is going to work from the drawing/ description?Personally, I hope that it spins on a predetermined axis, I think B&M could make some incredible rides that way. Either way, this is great. EDIT: ^That's strange, I can't get to the Mosaics page.
  18. My favorite show is probably The Office, and I like House (I'm getting pretty tired of it though), The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Dexter, Mythbusters, and The Amazing Race. For those of you who haven't seen it (and consider yourself comedy fans), I definitely recommend you go out and rent/buy all three seasons of Arrested Development. In my opinion the only show that's funnier than it (and not by much) is The Office, and Arrested Development gets bonus points for the originality of its jokes throughout. I'll never understand why it got canceled.
  19. Dr. John Glue, after a long night of PCP. And grinding up horse parts. Why does America use the imperial system over metric?
  20. This is great for me, being a full-out Philly fan (well, I don't pay attention to basketball much, it's one of my least favorite sports to watch). Not quite as big as the Eagles madness in '04, but it'll be really exciting if they win, championships are few and far between for Philly. I'm rooting for the Rays, I just can't stand the Red Sox after they "broke the curse", possibly the biggest bandwagon in history. I really respect the Rays as a franchise, so here's hoping they can get the pennant (and then swiftly lose in the Series).
  21. Yay for a picture of me being in an update! The quality (and quantity) of your pictures ceases to amaze me, Hanno. Night ERT on Lightning Racer=
  22. ^^Ha, nice! Thanks for the pictures.
