Pronunciations of unusual park and coaster names
Chris Benvenuto replied to macca_boy69's topic in Random, Random, Random
Ugh, saying some of these names makes my tongue hurt and cry! Thanks for posting some of these, I had no clue on how to say Lake Winnie's name! Now I do! Thanks! -

Welcome to the world! You have an exciting, long life ahead of you! God Bless! -
They made that hole in the free coke section so big, I won't be surprised if took more then one. Did that happen at all by any chance, where someone tried to take more then the free one they were given?? Because when I saw that, I become ever so curious about it!

To Robb, Elissa, and the mods whoever took them off the site. I didn't intend it to be that way, I just wondered what they were! Great, more guilt to add to my already sucky Monday

Dumbest things you’ve ever said on a forum
Chris Benvenuto replied to Jds03's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ I think he meant posts as in YOUR dumb posts, not other people's posts. Seriously, that'd be uncalled for you got your post taken off this site and made fun of on another site. Please be polite and post yours only, not other's I have a couple from RCT2.com and the acheived RCT station that are worthy of this thread...stay tuned... -
Maybe you guys (R&E) can come to Detroit, with all the programming studios for video games and movies being put in here, Michigan's becoming a game producing state as well as an animation design state. Just a thought. My god, if you guys moved to like Detroit or Lansing, MI. I would pretty keel over in shock with how close you'd be to my house. Hey....I can dream right?

I remember an old joke from along time ago, just thought of it. It was in an old TR on the site back in about 2003, where there was a joke where Robb had to sell his so called turtles to BGA. Yes, I've been around the site THAT long. AND YES, I remember that line.
-
When I come on the site, I notice these interactive turtles on the bottom left of the site... Can someone please explain why I'm seeing these, or say why these got put in the first place? Thanks!

Ummm Big Mike, you have a printing error on your official checker offer shirt. It's coasters ridden not coaster, If you know about this post won't matter and if you didn't there you go! I hate to say this error, but I've taken printing and graphics class for two years in High School, and when you desgin tshirts that litte fact gets you all the time. No harm intended or offense.

I like the way Robb does it, I have no opinion on it. What I mean by that is whatever he's happy with I'm happy with too. I'm just that type of person. But anywho, I've been buying Robb's stuff since the day of the VHS and I still have the first two seasons he did ON VHS and back when they were called Robb Alvey's Coaster Season 200x. I've supported him since 2002 and bought the European Coaster Odyssey back when he annouced in Winter of 2002 that he'd be switching to DVD format. Robb, I've support you all these years and man, it's been great I mean the price is something I've never liked. But I like the product, fully and competely and this is your decision of what goes into the final product just like with the video game industry. I've liked alot of the work you've done with the DVDs and VHSes and I really support you through and through with the CE's and In the RAW's. I do have to mention I loved it when the RAW discs come out, I literally went APE$H!T over that. I mean, whatever comes out I'll buy but the thing that has always mattered to me when I buy something is how long I'll keep it and the product's quality. Those two things I mentioned here are the two most important things I think of before I make a purchase of ANYTHING. Robb, I've liked what you've done so far and I've been glad supporting you ever since I was 12 (Winter 2002). You've kept my interest all these years and I'm very glad I decided to stick with you and not to mention all the great moments I've witnessed through your TR's and PTR's. I seriously hope one day, you and me can sit down and have a long talk at some hotel on a TPR trip. I'd really like discussing how I found the site with you and why I like the site overall so much. Just my big and long two cents, Chris Benvenuto EDIT: Whewwwwwww, Man I'm winded. I'm down for the count now folks, your turns now!

[RCT2] Phoenix Park
Chris Benvenuto replied to Xizor_Racer's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Coming from an RCT veteran (10 years) I liked it, I mean it wasn't too special. It just showed what your creditals were and how far you could take a park. I thought what I saw was great, and really keep it up! Work on parks long enough, and you'll be up in the ranks with the rest of the vets! Good work! -
Viper and Mind Eraser at Darien Lake due to the fact they were broken down, and were testing when I left. Superman (now just RoS) had a 2 1/2 hour wait when I left. I had limited time to be here, so I just got the kiddie credit and Predator (bad mistake). Need to return to Darien Lake one day and get the rides I missed. Universal IOA: I missed DD and Hulk only due to the fact I was scared to DEATH of big rides back then, I was 11 and I was frightened by most rides up until 2002 when I rode MF and my view changed. Six Flags Great America: I missed V2 only it was broken down and when it ran it was just testing. Deja Vu this only happened due to a 3 hour line and I regret it because it's no longer there. Like the Darien Lake visit, I had limited time. Former SFWOA/Geuaga Lake and Kings Island: X-Flight, only because it was broken down all day, and it only STARTED letting RIDERS on when we left for the night. CURSE YOU! Now I have to drive to friggin Kings Island to get that one, and to add to this, I missed like 12 of 13 credits due to my old fear of big rides at Kings Island. Oh, How I hate my old coaster fear it made me miss quite a bit. *facepalm*

Hey Big Mike, I loved following your 2008 season, and hopefully I come out and make 2009 as memorable as 2008 was for you! Just give me a PM, IM (on AIM) or a ring (Phone) and I'll make some time out of my schedule to hang with you! Hope your having a great March! Go Wings for the cup! Detroit all the way back-to-back!!

Photo TR: Cedar Point!
Chris Benvenuto replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^ don't worry all of the famous Cedar Point 17 will be up and running fine whenever you arrive. Don't you worry, don't you fret. -
I went to the Dome in 2005 when my brother turned 21 and everything was open. But, really when I was there alot of the stuff felt run down and SlingShot I thought was awkard riding because it felt like the brakes towards the top of the tower were going to give out at any minute. It was a cute place, we went on a mid 80's degree day in September, and really the quality showed. I liked it for what they had, but now I look at it realizing it wasn't worth the price we paid. Canyon Blaster, Inverter, Rim Runner and SlingShot were the rides that were worth riding. Well, that's just my opinion. Hate to be so negative about the place. The place looks pathetic with all the rags/towls all over the place with the tarps. Just. Plain. Sad.

What rank did you make it to in Boy Scouts?
Chris Benvenuto replied to Kennyweird's topic in Random, Random, Random
^^^ Well, when I was at Philmont, I camped at Baldy Town and dang around 2am the next we woke up in the middle of a hail/lightning storm. Believe me, it was not fun because one it was loud as hell and two like you the cold weather we experienced wasn't too fun at all either. -
Always had an interest in them, along with the weather and baseball. I liked to talk about them and knew alot about them, but I never would ride big rides since I was afraid of them. This website when I found it in 2001 helped keep my interest and I felt like it was something I should keep my eyes on and POOF! The forums came around, and well here I am now! I rode Millennium Force when I was 13 and never looked back, and I became the coaster loving person I am now. I think I had to wait about an hour for it, but I never looked back and I'm glad I did. I love roller coasters, and baseball alot more now!
