The Official Class of 2009 Thread
Chris Benvenuto replied to holyblakbelt's topic in Random, Random, Random
Woo-hoo for you f00s! I'm kidding, I'm class of 2008 and I congratulate this year's seniors! Good work people! -
Robb, if we do want to go on this trip in the fall. When do we have to start getting payments in? Because, I just might do this trip or otherwise if I can't I'll try to get on the Mid-America trip next year. I may've missed the payment information and you have it in your post, but when do we need to start handing them in?

^ Don't rule it out. It could be human error, it could be something else. Never rule something out just it doesn't have the "proper" details. -
I've been a mod for a few short length stints, and believe me reading all that shortened word, slang and bad spelling gets you one HELL of a headache. I really like what the mods do here, and I like how the community is run by Robb, Elissa, mods, etc. It doesn't matter. All I'm trying to say is, take a deeper look at our moderating staff and just try to imagine being in their shoes for a MONTH. No, no even A WEEK and you'll see what they mean by all the problems made by bad posters and troubling members. I've enjoyed the time and work the staff here puts into the site, and I hope they keep up the great work!

Hopefully this weekend treats the Motor City Kitties well. I'll be down at Comerica this Sunday to see them finish off the A's. -
Wearing glasses on a coaster

You're missing the point. Matt, I take that the point is suffocation? It's not a good idea, costume or not to wear a freaking bag on your head. It's a dumb idea....and.....yeah.... -
Wearing glasses on a coaster
Chris Benvenuto replied to jbuck's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I wore my glasses on every Kings Island ride, and no employee ever told me to take them off. But, in all honesty I need to get a strap for my glasses. Mainly due to the fact I get told to take them off sometimes at CP. The whole thing I experienced at Kings Island was weird, CP is literally 50-100 miles to the North and they don't observe the same rules? or enforce them at least? The only thing they really cared about was loose articles, and by that was cameras, cell phones, etc. -
Yeah, Magnum has airtime and everytime I get it, no offense I either get it to the point where it hurts my knees and legs. Maybe it's also the fact that I didn't get stapled, the airtime would be less painful on my groin, waist and legs. I go two ways on Magnum, I get rides where I'm TOTALLY STAPLED or free as a bird. Both instances hurt, and it may be my favorite ride but I can't see why people see this ride as so GREAT! It got BUMPED out of my TOP 10 list because of Diamondback and believe me Diamondback maybe made by another company but it offers a better ride and less stapling. Something Magnum will never give me at all, the stapling needs to go on the ride before I have another good ride on it. I may sound like a jerk or biased to some, but honestly this is just my two cents!

Blake, nice job shunning it off like it was nothing. Certain players like Ortiz point to the sky because they thank god for the run they scored, for a base hit, or a Homer. I think Blake competely missed the point. -

The hotels have their own parking lots last time I checked, and when I last checked I was there in person. Which would be November 1st, 2008. There is limited parking next to the onsite hotels, at least I know by one of them for sure. (Breakers? ) Otherwise, you'll need to get the package with the voucher. With finding the best options, call the park's information hotline. They should be able to help, because I live about 2 hrs from the park and usually a day at the park is enough for my family. But if WE were staying for awhile, I'd call the park. -
They should have a limited run of Throwback each year. I mean, just make it for a month or two and then go back to the stuff with corn syrup. Just my opinion though!

^ Blake can be an asshole at times, but THAT is uncalled for. I saw it on a baseball forum I went also go on and Cleveland fans were defending THAT! It was horrible! I seriously that was uncalled for by Blake, If I saw Blake again soon I'd hit'em with a pitch. All you can do if your a pitcher, hit'em with pitches or with a pitch so they get it. Well, Tigers face the Twinkies tonight. Hope we don't get a stomachache! -
There's confirmed cases near where I am...I'm near Detroit, and my town doesn't have any cases. But there's about 5 cases in downtown Detroit, but it is contained!

My first video game was actually Pac-Man for NES back in 1991. My brother showed me how to play it, and I wasn't good. I was a tot still and when you're a tot you really don't care for video games quite yet. Computerwise, my first computer was a Macintosh Classic II and then our elemetary school had a media center full of Macintosh Color Classic's for along while. Now they've been replaced with new 2000's era PCs, and they've rebuilt my elemetary school by tearing the older one down and rebuilding the new one on the plot of that it was on, horizonally and a 1/4 west of the old school. wow....talk about flashbacks.....dang.....

Hershey Park and our 100th coaster

Fahrenheit or Storm Runner. I'll probably be hitting both this August, so one of those two. Just my two cents. -
I really liked both DVD's, and they did everything I was expecting from them. Alot of good humor in CE 12, I loved alot of the China park segments and probably the highlight of the Chinese park videos was the random "SEX DRUG!" start to one of the videos. The footage was great, nothing more, nothing less. It was nice watching footage and POV's I'll never have the chance of riding, or in the case of some of them I might have a chance but I'm doubtful. Also another thing of note, is I like how Elissa now has her own little camera moments. It's a change from hearing sidenotes from Robb and alot of them were funny. I'm Chris Benvenuto and I approve these TPR DVD's Great work, Robb and Elissa! Now where's my bag-o-crap?! Chris "Owns all TPR related VHS's and DVD'" Benvenuto
