Pax Loop [NL]
Chris Benvenuto replied to bravo's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ you do realize even though he made it, this wasn't his idea in the first place?! PAX rides are awesome, only because they're so weird! Maybe a POV is in order for people like me who don't have the game? -
Darien Lake, Anyone?
Chris Benvenuto replied to xVicesAndVirtues's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was there a few weeks ago, and I have to say Ride of Steel is operating at full capacity. They're running both trains, and with the Motocoaster it's hit and miss, because while I was there it went down for abit and was up for awhile and then went down again when we (me and my dad) left. The park has been run fine by PARC, it's just the Motocoaster having some problems. -

ooooh, nice work! Well, so far. I'd recommend covering up that last turn on the Gravity Group coaster, and putting a roof over the station. I really like the scenary work on the Impulse, very stylish! -

http://wordsmith.org/anagram/ I ran Whyte Lightning through and got this: Let Gig Hint Why Plus Wetting Highly Plus (again) Eh Tightly Wing Just passing this by, may mean nothing, but I find it interesting... -
^Don't we all wish that'd come true? I share the same dream, but I know it won't happen to the amount that we want.

I personally can't wait to see how the Yankees peform in the playoffs this year. Another early knockout by an underdog team? It's happened for the last few years. 2006=Tigers, 2007=Cleveland 2008=Didn't do squat! I'm sorry, I respect the history of the franchise, but dislike the modern team. AND NO, it's not because I want the Tigers to be a winning team! As for the Tigers? This is probably the longest 1st place stance I've seen the team get in alongggggg time. The remainder of August and then September will be very interesting. What about the Nats' Willingham hitting two slams in a game? Anyone notice that, or do the Nats' suck that badly?! -
^ that's free. It's inside the park, I haven't been there yet but I don't think it's upcharge. If it is, that's lame.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
Chris Benvenuto replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Point is, CP is NOT truely #1. Golden Tickets may say so, but that's due to ballot box stuffing and word of mouth, not for truth. I have a few parks that rank far higher then CP in quality, cleaniness, and staff friendiness. With some, overall they're alot better then CP will ever be. I may live two hours from the place, but it's not really number #1 in world despite what the GT's say. -
IS the food same as KD's.....Well, that's a fanboy statement if anything. I'd say extend your palate there! Walking is a heck of alot faster then the train. The loading process for the train takes too long because they wait a few minutes for any extra riders who want to come aboard. In the early morning rush, I'd say run to Millennium Force, Maverick or TTD because you'll be in for quite the wait later on in the day. Waits for those rides do not die until later into the night towards closing time. Yes, the park gets crowded in July and to about mid-August. No doubt. The Min-max thing I can't really say, because it could anything for the bigger rides. But for the smaller ones I'd guess no more then 30 minutes, as for the bigger rides, it's unpredictable. The best seat on Magnum is Car 1, Row 3! Millennium Force is anywhere in the back and with Maverick, ANYWHERE!!! Night Rides I'd suggest would be TTD and Millennium Force. BOTH are really fun and good rides at night, and it's refreshing too as the sun's down and you get a great chilling breeze! As for other advice, I really just say have fun, hit as many rides as you can at a reasonable pace and if you miss some? Plan a trip for the future and hit those when you come back for part two! Hopes this helps you out Matt!

I went on it back in April and to be honest, it was good, but dangit that ride gave me a freaking headache! God, why in the hell is the lift chain so loud? Is that really necessary? -
I personally thought the DVD was a great idea. I got to see some POV footage and offride footage of rides I was never able to reach in real life or were gone before I got to ride them. To be honest, this was a good DVD and another class-A Alvey product! Keep it up! I'll be waiting anxiously for RAW 4 and the next Coaster Expedition DVD as well! As soon as the next set of RAW and CE DVD's are annouced, I can assure you it'll have my pre-order! Great work!

I was hating?! I just congratulated you guys! Thanks for stabbing me in the back, that statement I made may've been harsh but that response was alot worse then mine. I even called my uncle afterwards and congratulated him and the fans he was with that night. I'm a wayyy better sport then most Wings fans, and I have family in Pennsylvania. I cheer for the Steelers, and my first NHL game was a Pens game!! I take my word back on the World Series thing, but wow....Pens fans don't eff around! -

Say you're the city of champions when the Pirates win a World Series, pal, and that's not going to happen soon! Penguins fans, congratulations! You and your team had a great season this year, I'm impressed. I seriously thought this would be back to back wins for the Wings, but you've prevented it in a well fought out battle. I personally thank the city of Pittsburgh and the Penguins organization for a long, and entertaining battle until the end! You guys have waited and waited for the Cup to return home under a blue Pittsburgh sky. Well, you've done it! Until next season, Enjoy the party! -

^ not to be rude, but please do not try to bump topics that haven't been responded to in months or years. I never understood why this was banned, and I don't really care that much at all either.
