Retro Kings Island souvenir book 1979
angryemobeaver replied to pianojohn's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Not sure how high it was, but I'd guess around 100'? 2. Oktoberfest is still there. We still have Festhaus, but since then that area has lost most of it's charm and is now one of the worst areas in the park (to me.) Safari Land is now Action Zone, some of the buildings are still there but remodeled. And the camp ground got low attendance and was removed for Great Wolf Lodge. 3. Demons logo is pretty good, but you'd rather have Demon over Vortex!? Next time you ride Vortex sit in the second to last seat (7-1) and you'll get the most amazing airtime ever, 10x better than any hill on Diamondback! -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
angryemobeaver replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Beast at Kings Island, about 3 weeks ago on the last 2 trains of the 2009 season. I may be going to Dollywood, after that I probably won't get to ride a coaster until March. -
Aspen Lakes V2 [RCT3]
angryemobeaver replied to angryemobeaver's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^Thanks! ^^Thank you! ^^^Thanks! -------------- Well I only replied to reply to some comments, but that's too boring so I'll include one photo just for no reason at all! By the way, none of these photos were meant to be in an update, they were just to show a few of my friends the park, and since then it has changed a little bit, and will change much more in the future. So enjoy. -
Some of you may remember my park Aspen Lakes from this summer. I worked on it for a long time and than posted it. Than for some reason I just never updated. So after I finished Adventure Cove Florida, I wanted to try out another timeline park. Once I got started it reminded me of Aspen Lakes, so this is pretty much supposed to be the same park only a whole different story line and different rides. For now I'm only going to post a few photos to build anticipation. The park isn't finished yet, and won't be for a while. Here is the story line. The park opened in 1974 by a company similar to Marriot (Like SFGAm & CGA) Rides were added, bla bla bla. Than in 1994 a company bought the park. Before this company bought it, the park was a pretty major park for it's time but lacked newer rides like other parks were getting. This new company wanted to transform this medium sized amusement park into a huge thrill park. In 1994 the first thing the new owners added was Skycoaster. Although I realized Skycoasters didn't look like this until the late 90's or early Millennium; I hate how the ones in RCT3 look (so huge) so I made my own. Than in 1995 the owners wanted to build a new roller coaster, something the old owners probably wouldn't of ever built. Draftburner, a B&M Invert which is inspired from Flight Deck and Afterburn at CGA & Carowinds. This is what got the park famous. In 1996 the owners scraped the skys with an Intamin 2nd. generation drop tower, which at the time was the tallest in the world! The skyline was forever changed. New this year (1997) the park added another roller coaster, this one was the biggest one yet. Standing over 140' it's the second tallest ride in the park. I won't share the name til' later but the ride is another Bolliger & Mabillard, only this one is a standup. The ride layout is very similar to Chang's and the colors are much like Dominator's when it was at GL. So here are 4 Photos for now!

Only $3,999,000? Wow... That is only about twice as much as my house cost! I really think Indiana Beach should consider buying it. It would be a great attraction, Indiana's tallest, fastest steel coaster, it's only launched coaster, the only coaster in Indiana with a vertical loop, and it's nostalgic!

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
angryemobeaver replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The new trains do look very comfortable and I'm sure they will ride much better than the bulky PTCs. But they have a weird look to them, I'm afraid the trains will look kind of ugly in signature shots. If it does, who cared,I'd much rather have a better ride experience than a better looking ride. Also, I'm going to Holiday World next year, and I can't wait to ride Voyage with these new Timberliners. I haven't been to Holiday World since 2001 and so I haven't ridden Voyage yet (I have ridden Raven & Legend though) I just wish I could of ridden Voyage with the PTC's just to know how they compare. -
Part 4 (Final) I really like how Diamondback towers over the whole park. I hope they fix up this area, it's a little too thrown together. Although the whole park was empty, Nickelodeon Universe was pretty crowded. Word must of spread it's not going to be here next year. The skull looks weird not being Haunt. Kinda funny that the alien thing is just sitting out there. I love Drop Zone! Because of the sunlight, Son of Beast looks new right now. The pond looks nice. I haven't ridden Delirium since August I think. I wasn't in the mood to ride Invertigo this visit. I'll ride it again next year. Thanks for reading, and later I may post some videos!

Part 3 Blue Racer's station was filled with trash cans. When I was taking this photo I thought it looked good, but it ended up looking bad. Nice view of Eiffel Tower. I'm soooo happy Drop Zone was open. I didn't ride Slingshot or Xtreme Skyflier this visit, I wish I would of. Haunt stuff. Diamondback. Last time I'll see Nickelodeon Universe from up here. Drop Zone doing it's thing. Eiffel Tower wasn't crowded at all! Racer looks nice as always! Diamondback and DB Trading Post. See the guy in the green hoodie? He is sitting in the vomit seat! DB Plaza wasn't busy. Wild Thornberrie's and Diamondback, something that won't be the same next year. I'm really hoping they paint Reptar. This will probably be something like "Snoopy's Great Hot Air Balloon Race" Avatar & Dora's Brother, next year it will have Snoopy and the yellow bird on it. It'd be nice if they got lap bars. I like this photo alot! Part 4 (final) soon!
-
Part II The park was empty! I like how the park looks in the fall. Coney Mall was actually one of the busiest sections of the park, and look how crowded it is! Major Fail! This gate was open for about 30 minutes, atleast. Anyone could just walk back there. Even with Diamondback, Rivertown isn't too busy. One of the best first drops ever! I never did see many people riding KI&MVRR. I like this section of Rivertown alot. I like this view of Diamondback. I don't like how my camera sometimes gets these little rainbow things from the sun. This was all we waited for DB! And I didn't have to wait in this! I love Drop Zone! Didn't wait in any of this, but I wish I could of... Top Gun had a full station, which is weird since most things today had no line at all. Top Gun is my second favorite steel coaster at KI. Part 3 soon!

After my not too good visit to Cedar Point last week, I really needed another visit to KI. I planned on going closing day but no one could take me. Than on Halloween night my sister said she would take me, but than my mom said not to rely on her, and instead have my neighbor take me. So my neighbor Dave would be taking me and Mitchell. It was about 1am. when I found out I was going, so I had to bed fast. I woke up at 7:30AM. but stayed in bed for 15 minutes, than took a quick shower. By 8:00 I was ready. My neighbor wasn't though, so I waited for him. At about 8:40 we picked up Mitchell. The drive to KI flew by, and before we knew it we were pulling into the parking lot! It was a little after ERT started, so my neighbor couldn't come in. He said he would read his books for a while, than go to Meijer to buy a ticket. Mitchell & I walked very fast to Diamondback. We saw the line went out to Snake Pit, because Diamondback was testing and not open. We decided to go to Beast since we never go to it during ERT. On our way there we saw a train stuck on the MCBR, within a minute it was going down the drop, and we noticed it was going extremely slow. Over the two smaller hills it barley crested the hills, and it just barley made it through the helix. The splash it made was extremely small. After watching that interesting cycle of Diamondback we went to Beast. The station was empty so I rode in my favorite seat (second to last.) Nick (dare to fly) surprisingly noticed me with short hair! Beast was running very slow, but we still had a great ride. Since no one was in line we stayed on and rode again. This time it ran a little bit faster. I checked the time and it was about time for the park to open so we made our way to the north side of the park. Backlot had no line so me and Mitch rode in the very front, Backlot crew was pretty fast today! None of the effects worked at all, so when we went to the MCBR we all laughed and said "Wow! This is so action packed, look at that parked helicopter!" I snapped a few photos after Backlot, than we went to Vortex where we found... No one! We rode in 7-1, and had a great ride. We stopped on the MCBR for a minute or so. When we arrived in the station, people were inline for 7-1, but no one was in line for the okay seat; 5-1 so we rode there. It was significantly more rough, but I still enjoyed my ride. Mitchell wanted to go check out X-BASE so we went to Firehawk. Maybe about 5 people total were in the station not counting employees! We were going to get a locker by decided not to. We waited 1 train for row 5 on the West station. I was a little nervous my phone or wallet would fly out but luckily it didn't. But as we went through the lie to fly over the lift hill I saw something fly out of the train into the grass. Mitchell freaked out and thought it was his phone. When we got into the station he realized his phone was in his pocket so we didn't worry. Next we went to Flight of Fear and waited 1 train for one of the middle rows (my favorite.) After an intense great ride on FoF, we decided to ride again, only in row 2. Bad idea, we forgot we were sitting on a wheel! I've never had a more painful ride on FoF ever! I had a headache starting (which is very rare for me.) So we went to see if a B&M would fix it! The line was pretty much non-existent. We waited 1 train for row 15. Diamondback lost it's roar. I think it only has a loud roar when it's hot out, because the past 3 visit, It had been cold & quiet. When Mitchell got his phone out of the bin, he noticed his wallet was gone. We than realized it had fell off on Firehawk. So we went back to X-BASE and filled out papers for his wallet, than went back to Diamondback and rode some more. We rode about 4 more times, than since we were in the area, we rode Scooby Doo & The Haunted Castle. We waited 7 minute which was the longest we will have waited for anything the whole day! I scored 650, which I guess is okay for it only being my Second ride ever on it and the last time I rode it was in 2003! I hadn't even been in Action Zone yet, so we made our way there, I snapped some more shots on the way. Drop Zone had no wait so we rode it 6 times without getting off! Those were some of the best rides I've had on DZ (Best was in the morning of June 10th.) As I was getting on Drop Zone I saw Ashley & Kyle (Ashers & kjkjkj), they were on Xtreme Skyflier. While on DZ I joked saying "Look! SOB is a walkon, lets go ride it!" It made me sad not being able to ride SOB these past 4 visits so we went and rode Top Gun. TG had a full station just about, but row 2 was empty so we sat there. Usually I reride TG atleast twice, but after a bad ride on TG I didn't feel like it. So instead we went to Adventure Express. It smelled so nasty back there, we didn't feel like smelling it anymore so we rode Racer in the back seat. I had my camera pouch, camera, wallet, and phone all in my hoodie pocket and didn't realize it! Thankfully it stayed right there! I than when to Coney Confections and bought some batteries since mine just died. I hadn't been on Eiffel Tower since August so I had to ride it one more time! The park looked so nice with all the leaves changing colors, while up there I took many photos and looked to see how long the lines were. Diamondback had a 5 minute wait which was funny cause we were complaining about how long that is! We went back to Diamondback and rode it 4 times. Someone threw up in row 4 of the green train, now we call the green train, the vomit train. One thing that was weird is that we sat in the gold train each time we rode Diamondback today. I wanted more photos of Nickelodeon Universe, so I took some. Than went to Drop Zone again and rode 5 or so more times. Little did I know, but that would be my last time riding Drop Zone this year. My friend Brian and some other people texted me saying they just got off Diamondback and are by AE. So I met them there, they had just been at Cedar Point a few hours ago. We rode in the whole back car of AE, than went to Racer and rode in the whole front car. Brian wanted to ride FoF one more time before the end of the season so we went to it where the line was all the way to the 'purple room.' About 3 minutes later we were in the middle of the train. We didn't sit on a wheel this time, so it was enjoyable. Brian was planning on getting his 300th. ride tonight, conveniently he was at 299, and since I was at 74 I had my 75th. when he had his 300th. in the front seat. Gabriell somewhat announced it on the intercom thing. While on Diamondback I had these flashbacks of all my rides I've had on Diamondback. It made me really sad looking back on the memories. It made me remember my first ride on Diamondback, my first night ride on DB, all of my ERT rides during RWCW, my first rain ride on DB, my first fireworks rides on DB, and my rides on DB when it was foggy and cold. Even though 75 (later 76) doesn't compare to some of your guy's ride counts on DB, it made me realize how much I ride Diamondback, and made me think of how far I've gone on it's trains (401,432ft., which is about 80 miles.) I grabbed in one last ride on Diamondback in row 14. I can't imagine going 6 months without riding Diamondback... Since today was so memorable I wanted to buy my on ride photo (I also had a huge smile on my face.) But they were taking too long, so instead I bought a license plate and bumper sticker since I get my license this week. Now my car is Diamondback-ized. Me, Brian, Mitchell, Adam, and a few other people than made our way to Beast for our final rides of the season. Only about a minute after we got there they let us in line. Jackson and Adam sat in the front seat, Me and Mitchell sat in row 2, and I don't remember who sat behind us. This ride on Beast was probably my best yet, even though it was running slow due to the cold, I just loved riding coasters with tons of friends and people who have the same passion as me. When we pulled into the brake run I was really sad it was all over. But Kosmac was awesome and let us stay on one more time! This time going up the lift hill I smelt Outback steakhouse. It made me very hungry! The whole train was cheering and super excited! These two rides on Beast were some of my most memorable rides ever. I decided to buy my photo since how much fun I had. While leaving the park we all got in one more Mystery Machine photo before the end of the season! This visit to KI was probably my best yet, I rode so much and a short time and had alot of fun. Thanks to everyone who made this visit what it is, I had an amazing day! Diamondback: 11 Drop Zone: 11 Beast: 5 Vortex: 3 Backlot: 2 Flight of Fear: 3 Firehawk: 1 Racer: 3 Adventure Express: 2 Top Gun: 1 Eiffel Tower: 1 Scooby Doo & The Haunted Castle: 1 45 rides in just 8 1/2 hours! Pretty good, I must say! And now onto the photos! Diamondback towering over the whole park. Backlot Plaza with all the Haunt stuff still out on Display. Not sure why, but I LOVE this photo, It reminds me of Tennessee Tornado. Vortex was quiet today. Almost like ERT! Not sure why, But I really like ground shots! Halloween stuff still out. Vortex looks good today! I would like this photo more if there was more color, it's too gray. I have much more photos to post, but imageshack is being slow for me, so I'll post the rest later! And either later tonight, or tomorrow I'll have a video too!

Odd looking supports

Nathan's Six Flags Great America Photo Emporium!
angryemobeaver replied to kumba830's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice photos Nathan. King Chaos's ride cycle looks pretty good during Fear Fest, I wish KI would run Crypt atleast half as good as KC is. I read somewhere that during FF, the park 'transforms' Demon to how it used to be or something, what exactly do they do to it? I was just thinking maybe play the theme song, have the fountains on, and maybe some lights or fog? -
Since I got good grades on my midterm, My dad promised he would take me to the Point. Since I was on Fall Break this past 2 days, he decided to take me this week. We were going to go for 2 days, but for some reason he decided to only go one. So we left his house at about 7:45am. West of Dayton we stopped for Sonic. I got a breakfast burrito, sweet tea, and fries. After a quick stop we were back on the road. Right before we got onto Route 6 we stopped at a Speedway and got snacks. We took Route 6 to Route 2 and got off on Milan Road. When getting onto Milan, traffic was bad. It took us 10 minutes to get off the highway. Just a few minutes after getting off the highway we were on the causeway. We parked in the back lot by Magnum. From the looks of both parking lots, I was thinking crowds wouldn't be too bad. I was wrong. We decided to ride Maggie first since it's the closest coaster to that entrance. We waited 15 Minutes overall since the ride was down for about 10 minutes cause of highwinds/rain. I sat next to my dad in the second to last seat, Mitchell sat in front of us. Magnum was running good, Usually the small airtime hills hurt but this time I enjoyed them alot! Also the trims were off! My Dad's favorite coaster at CP is TTD so he wanted a ride on it badly. Sadly it was closed, but as we walked by it's entrance it started testing. So we got in line and waited about 10 minutes. It opened and they let people in line. As they were letting people in line the greeter got the call saying to close the entrance, so we didn't get in. We waited about an hour and it never tested again so we walked away sadly to Millennium Force hoping for the best. It was really windy, the clouds looked bad, and it was super cold. But luckily Millennium Force was open, sadly there was a 2 hour wait. We waited through it, and about 3/4 the way through it someone passed out or something, security and paramedics came and took a guy away in a stretcher. MF was running all 3 trains but as we got in line for our seat they put the yellow train in the transfer track. Me and my dad once again rode the second to last seat, but Mitchell rode the very back. As we were pulling out of the station a big gust of wind hit the train, I knew this was going to be freezing... When we were about to the top of the lift we stopped and rolled back a tiny bit before the anti roll back system caught us and we stopped for a few seconds. Than we started back up and crested the lift hill. Going down the drop I had to put my hood up and close my eyes, It was SLEETING! I was shivering and the sleet hurt going 93mph! I was relieved we entered the tunnel, but about a second later we were out in the sleet again. I got no airtime at all on the 182' hill, and the ride seemed slower than usual. Before I knew it we were entering the brake run. People in the queue line were laughing at the whole train cause we were all shivering, shaking, and had our hoods up over our head! After I got off, the weather seemed warmer since we were used to sleet at 93mph. We waited for Mitchell to get off (He was on the train after us) and we walked over to Los Gatos to get a taco. In case you didn't know, Los Gatos has the best tacos! After our lunch we walked to Maverick to find a full queue and it overflow to the 'wanted sign.' As much as I wanted to wait in it, My dad was feeling sick cause of the weather so we skipped it. So we went to Mean Streak hoping for a short line but it was 45 Minutes, and Mean Streak is NOT worth a 10+ minute wait! So we went to Gemini, but it had a just about full queue and was close cause of the rain/sleet. So we waited 10 minutes and nothing happened, so we went towards Magnum which was closed. TTD was still closed, and had no sign of opening soon. Corkscrew was closed, but Power Tower was open, well atleast most of it was. Launch side had a 10 minute wait, Drop side had a 30 minute wait. We went for Launch. I remember it being better, I didn't really enjoy it too much so we didn't reride. Instead we went to the much better drop ride, Demon Drop! On the way we noticed Raptor was closed, and had been all day. Demon Drop had a 30 minute wait. I took tons of photos and video footage of it while waiting in line. I was really sad thinking this is going to be my last ride on it ever (I doubt I'll make it to Knott's for a long while.) After an amazing ride on Demon Drop I walked towards MaXair sadly. Everything in this area had a full queue+. Wicked Twister had a half filled queue so we waited for it. It was about 30 minutes and we got back seat (My favorite.) Than we went to Chaos since it's for sale I want to get to ride it just in case. We waited 1 cycle for it, my Dad sat out. Chaos was just okay, it didn't get fun til the inversions, and just as the fun started it ended. I wanted a MF hoodie sooooo bad so I went to the gift shop by TTD (can't remember it's name) they didn't have it so I went back to Pagoda Gift Shop. They also didn't have it, but they had a 2 for $20 deal. I got a Raptor & TTD shirt (funny cause I didn't get to ride either this visit..) but they only made them in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL! And I wear a Medium or Small. So I got the smallest sizes they had, L & XL. I hate how big they have to make shirts. Sorry I'm being mean, but skinny people should be able to buy stuff too! My dad wasn't feeling good, it was cold, rainy, and windy, not much was open, the only things open had huge waits and we were thinking of the trip back home. My dad asked if we could leave, and I honestly didn't mine leaving this early. So we left the park at about 9pm. All I rode was... Magnum XL-200: 1 Millennium Force: 1 Power Tower Launch: 1 Corkscrew: 1 Demon Drop: 1 Wicked Twister: 1 Chaos: 1 We didn't get home til about 2am, it usually takes about 4 1/2 hours to get to CP but it took about 5 hours to get home for some reason. I was glad to be home, even though I miss CP so much. My dad felt bad for having us leave early and said that we will for sure go again on 2 weekdays in early June! So now here's what makes this TR a PTR. I was thinking I would get to ride old Blue Streak, but I didn't get to. But atleast I got to ride Magnum. MF was running slow this visit. I wander why they call it America's Rockin' Roller Coast? Another reason CP is awesome, PEPSI! Main reason this visit was bad... LONG LINES! I still don't get airtime here... Out of all the times I've been to CP I've only seen them light the lift supports once! Shoot the Rapids Construction I would of loved this photo, but my lens is kinda small so it can't get all of MF's turn, all of the barn, some of the ground, and all of the windmill. Didn't get to ride Maverick... Because of this.. Didn't get to ride Gemini... And worst of all I didn't get to ride my all time favorite coaster at the Point! Jr. Gemini! By the way, Halloweekends sucked! Barely any theming! NO FOG! Only saw one scare actor! Halloweekends makes Haunt looks good, and thats a big insult to CP on account of how bad Haunt is. No TTD rides this visit... Hey! Look! Diamondback! Yay! "Are you ready?" YES! "Too bad, TTD is closed due to highwinds!" Oh... I'll miss you so much. Thanks for reading, and I made 3 videos! Check them out! Wicked Twister off ride Demon Drop tribute Halloweekends video

The infamous Rollback!
angryemobeaver replied to themeparkman25's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've gotten one on Maverick back in July of 2007. It was on it's lift hill, and we just rolled back a little bit than would slow down til' we finally made it to the station and got relaunched. -

http://www.indianabeach.com/ So excited, I'll for sure buy one! I'm so happy cause I really emailed the park about a month ago asking for them to do this! So glad they listened to what I said and did it. -
First of all, I know there is a KBF discussion thread but I don't know (still) how to search for a topic on this forum. Secondly, It seems Demon Drop is supposed to go to KBF and CF will start a ride rotation program. Not sure If I believe this or not, seems dumb to relocate a ride that needs so much maintenance. http://www.buenapark.com/Modules/ShowDocument.aspx?documentid=1409 Okay, start discussing!

KI in October?
angryemobeaver replied to Speeddeamon128's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you could go any day(s) I'd go probably October 31st. and November 1st. The 31st. will probably be busy being a Saturday and Halloween, but Haunt isn't going on the 1st. so if you want night rides I'd go on Halloween. On the 1st. of November the park will be empty for sure, it's a Sunday and most people probably think KI's last day is the 31st. Those would be two good days to go on, but if you can only go on one day, I'd maybe go on a Thursday. -
Part II Troika, Troika, Troika... I mean Shake, Rattle, & Roll! Suzie's House of Bones... Didn't notice it last time. The chickens from Beast's tunnels escaped all the way over to near Backlot! I kind like this photo. Haunt skull. Me acting like the pink thing from Backyardigans! I guess I give it a thumbs up! Come on... Planet Snoopy!? How dumb! Me, Jimmy, and the robot dog, I'm trying to act like the dog. Thanks for reading!

My Sister and her friend Fred wanted to go to what they still think is called Fearfest. They invited my cousin Andrea and her husband Johnny. I wanted to go, and surprisingly they let me. Andrea's brother Mitchell (Gnarkiller) came too, and so did my mom. I woke up Saturday around 1pm. and just got on the computer til' about 2:30. Around then I started getting ready, and we (My mom, sister, and I) went to Andrea and Mitchell's house around 3. We had to wait for Fred to get here, and once he did, we left. We stopped at a BP down the street and I got a Yoohoo. By the time we passed Indiana Live Casino I really had to use the restroom (I also drunk a 32oz. Pepsi before I went to Mitchell's.) I didn't get to go until Cincinnati Mills Drive. Everyone was hungry and wanted Taco Bell, we went to the one by KI. I don't care for Taco Bell so I just got a cup of potatoes with cheese and sour cream. The restaurant was PACKED, so I went outside at one of the tables. I wasn't paying much attention to the table I was at, and after a few bites I noticed a dead bird sitting on my table! So I quickly went back into Taco Bell. We ended up eating inside the car. After Taco Bell we went to Kings Island. The parking lot was at about full capacity. As excited I was to be at KI, I was upset about it being super busy. So we walked into the park and I planned on riding Drop Zone until about 7pm. than going through Slaughter House, but everyone else wanted to go to Diamondback. So we walked over to Diamondback, on the way there all the people with us were saying "What happened to Nickelodeon Universe?" I told them it was closed during Haunt hours, and that next year it's going to be Planet Snoopy. Every single person with me all said how dumb that is and that no kid is going to like that. They were sad too because they all love Scooby Doo & The Haunted Castle. So we continued on to Diamondback where we found a full queue. It went by fast cause we were taking tons of photos. Me and my Mom got front seat, everyone else got rows 3, 4, and 16. My Mom loved Diamondback (she rode it on opening day once but that was so long ago she kinda forgot how it was.) Everyone else loved it too. They all wanted to do a Haunt so we headed for Tombstone Terror-tory. Since it was all the way back to Beast we skipped and went on Crypt. Crypt was a complete walkon luckily, everyone hated it and said it was a waste of time. I wanted to ride Beast but the line was all the way to Rivertown Arcade so I decided not to. We went to Backlot to find a 45 Minute wait and so we decided not to ride, and go to Vortex instead. Shake, Rattle, and Roll had about no line so Mitchell and I got in line while everyone else went to Flight of Fear. It was really fun, I hadn't ridden since October 25th. 2008 so It was nice getting to ride it again. Vortex's line was out to Happy Da, I mean Jukebox Dinner so once again we looked for something else. Me and Mitchell picked Racer but just like everything else, it had a full queue so we made our way to Top Gun. Luckily TG only had a station wait so we re-rode 4 times. After some great rides on TG we walked around, and than before we knew it were inline for Shake, Rattle, and Roll again. This time the fireworks were going off. I didn't even know they did Fireworks during Haunt... I need to ride Diamondback again. But this time the line overflowed to Rivertown Junction and the SRL was closed so I sadly walked away. In Nickeldeon Universe (The unblocked part) we took random photos of us next to random Nick stuff. We found some candy on the ground and I ate it... Lol. We realized we hadn't ridden anything in over an hour so we got in line for Slaughter House. We were about half way through it when My mom said were leaving after they get out of Slaughter House (they were in line also, but ahead of us.) So me and Mitchell decided to get out of line and ride stuff since we don't have much time. We went to AE and luckily it was a walkon. After a great as always AE ride we went to Racer. It had a 10 minute wait, we rode row 2. I don't even remember the last time I rode Dodgems so we both rode it. After riding Indiana Beach's dodgems I realize how bad ours suck! So slow, such a short cycle, and you can barely hit people! After Dodgems we got back in line for Racer and rode 3 more times, each time the line got smaller and smaller. My mom called and said were ready to leave, so we said we will be there soon, on our way to the exit we hurry and 'got in line' for Cemetery Drive. Only about 10 people were in line, which was good. Sadly this is probably the best Haunt I've been through this season which is bad since I only 'jumped' twice... So after Cemetery Drive we had to leave, the park didn't close until another 15 minutes so that's not too bad. Overall I had fun, but this trip was worst than last trip. Drop Zone was closed, only got to ride Diamondback once. Didn't get to ride Vortex or Beast. I hope next time I go it'll be way less crowded and I'll get to ride Diamondback alot. Diamondback: 1 Crypt: 1 Shake, Rattle, and Roll: 2 Dodgems: 1 Racer: 4 Adventure Express: 1 Top Gun: 4 Nickelodeon Universe closed. I like this photo alot, but It'd be better if Eiffel was more on the right. Crowds were bad.. I like the sky in this photo. Not sure why, But I like this photo. My sister, me, and My mom in line for Diamondback. Cousin, Andrea pretending to be dead. Random props. This wasn't here last visit. Drop Zone is... Temporarily closed... My two favorite non-coasters at Kings Island, sadly didn't get to ride either.. So sad not getting to ride DZ... Me on TG, photo taken from station when ride wasn't in operation... so don't freak out. More photos in just in minute!
