  1. Kings Dominion 2010 park map released! http://kingsdominion.com/visit/visit_park_map.cfm
  2. Thanks, but I really don't think I need it. Alot of log flumes don't have wooden covers over the 'track', and I don't really need to splash down thing either. ----------
  3. ^^^ Good guess but nope! Thanks also! ^^ Mk will do! ^ Thanks! ------------------
  4. Diamondback made that noise almost all season. In July-August it got new wheels supposedly, and it had an extreme B&M Roar that could be heard from the parking lot. Than in September the roar just went away and went back to the normal clicking noise. I thought maybe it was either it's wheels or the track (once a train gos over it) is cracking against each other?
  5. Somewhat. Revolution opened in 1976, so did Corkscrew at CP. And Corkscrew opened in 75' at Knotts as the first modern coaster with inversion (corkscrews...) So it would be one of a few coasters with inversions that year.
  6. ^^Thanks! And his park somewhat inspired me, so don't be surprised if you see similar styles, but I'm trying not to copy. ^Thank you, and yeah that is what I used to do.
  7. ^Thanks, and yes I already know I'm overdoing it. ^^Thank you, I really don't know a thing about Disney and could care less about it, but I'm glad you said that cause it sounds like an area that would be patriotic looking and that is what I'm aiming for. ----------------------- American Adventures Funstruction Guide 2, May 11, 1975
  8. Thanks! Actually there is not inspiration from KBF. ------------------------- American Adventures Funstruction Guide 1, March 21, 1975
  9. I rode Boardwalk Bullet in April of 2008, and I thought it felt fine. Infact it's one of my favorite woodies. I can't even imagine how great it must be now!
  10. --------------------------------- Indianapolis Star, November 11, 1974 Just so everyone knows, this park is inspired by an amusement park that was supposed to open in Mooresville Indiana just a few years ago. The park was being built by "Entercitment" (My company is called "Extainment", get it?) The park was going to be named "Garfield's American Adventures" and have a Garfield-the cat theme (Mine will eventually.) In reality the park was going to open with a huge wooden roller coaster, a smaller compact steel coaster, and a steel coaster with multiple inversions. My park is very similar to what GAM was supposed to be, only mine is taking place in the 1970's.
  11. Indianapolis Star, September 14, 1973 Indianapolis Star, March 29, 1974 Indianapolis Star, April 16, 1974 Anyone know what this is based off of?
  12. Well I'm kinda excited since Gary is only about 3 hours away! I'm sure that the 'Thriller Coaster' will probably be not so thrilling, but atleast on my way to SFGAm I could stop and get a quick credit! Also, someone mentioned that how people in Gary love Michael Jackson, that is true but they aren't going to be visiting the park because probably 97% of them won't be able to afford park admission. They'll probably just either sneak in, or hold up a gun to security like at Wally Word.
  13. I think Scream at Heide Park used to be an observation tower. Space Spiral could become one I guess. I'd personally love to see it happen, maybe they could renovate that whole area of the park by removing Disaster Transport, making Space Spiral a gyro drop, add a new woodie, and fix up some of the buildings in that area. It really could become a nice area, maybe give it a 'boardwalk feel?' And wouldn't Space Spiral become the tallest gyro drop if it was to become one?
  14. I got the new computer (and currently working on an awesome new park.) The computer runs RCT3 super good and fast. And also it has 640GB of hard drive so I will be able to make huge parks.
  15. I hope they do end up buying Cedar Fair, or atleast some of the parks. I don't like Cedar Fair that much. But than again they could end up doing bad and ruining some of the parks. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  16. Wooden Out & Back: Hurricane Cat. 5, it will be Voyage though. Wooden Twister: Cornball Express, if that doesn't count than Boardwalk Bullet. Wooden Coaster Overall : Cornball Express. Mine Train: Adventure Express. Wild Mouse: Dark Knight. Stand Up: Georgia Scorcher. Floorless: Non yet... Mega-Looper: Kumba Inverted/SLC: Montu. Boomerang: DejaVu Arrow Multi Looper: Vortex Bobsled: Disaster Transport Launched Coaster: Maverick Drop Ride: Drop Zone at KI Kiddie coaster: Beastie I guess. Powered coaster: None yet. Traveling coaster: Wild Mouse (Spinning version) Portable model (may or may not travel): Galaxi at IB or Windstorm at Old Town. Dark/indoor coaster: Flight of Fear at KI Water coaster/hybrid: Well on Coaster Fanatics they count Dudley Dorights Ripsaw Falls, so I guess that. Spinner: Ragin' Cajun (only been on 2, the other is a clone only travels) Flying: Firehawk (S:UF clones suck) Racing: American Eagle Hypercoaster: Diamondback Giga Coaster: Millennium Force for now, i305 looks way better though. Strata Coaster: Top Thrill Dragster Shuttle/Incomplete circuit: Deja Vu. Overall steel: Diamondback. Flat ride: Drop Zone. LIM: Well if you mean Linear Induction Motor coaster I'd say Flight of Fear (or V2 if it's a LIM) but if you mean overall launched coaster than I would say Maverick.
  17. Wow, seven parks one day. I think one day I'll try to beat it by adding Timber Falls and Indiana Beach!
  18. Excellent photos, I love seeing photos of coasters from outside the park.
  19. Same here, I think! Wasn't it a photo him on the MCBR or lift hill of Wild Thing?
  20. I was searching something about Six Flags many years ago and saw a photo of Mega Zeph. I clicked it and it was a 2001 (I think) TPR SFNO Trip report. Than I read a PKI one and and Geuaga Lake one. I didn't join for a few years later though. Not sure why it too me so long...
  21. Now thinking some more about this. Holiday World is never really too busy, I don't live too far so I could go any day. But I barley go to CP. In 2008 Coaster Mania was AMAZING. I got soooo many rides in, it was the best day of my life. Word spread how amazing it was and everyone went in 2009 causing ERT to be busy. Than in trip reports people said they still had a great time, but it was packed (ERT.) So word spread once again only about how bad it was. Now everyone is wanting to go to Holiday World because of how bad Coaster Mania was, and how good Holiwood Nights was. So I'm guessing HWN may be somewhat busy during ERT, and Coaster Mania will be not bad! So as of now I'm going with CM, unless someone can change my opinion...
  22. Thanks! ----------------------------- Okay, first of all sorry for the long time without an update. And sorry again for tricking you all thinking this is going to be a much needed one! The reason I'm posting this is because I wanted everyone to know I haven't quit this park. During Black Friday I bought Sims 3 for $25, and that morning I stayed up for hours playing it on my sisters new notebook. I later wanted to install it on my desktop, but Sims 3 is a DVD-ROM and my old 2005 Dell only plays CD-ROM, so I had to buy an external hard drive thingy. Once I got that for $65 I put in Sims 3 and installed it. It played very slow and horrible graphics, even though my RCT3 ran okay and had okay graphics. So I took out my video card and got the dust off it. While doing this I accidentally shattered the fan on it and now my card is broken. So my screen on my desktop is messed up and I'm using my sisters notebook now. But the good news is, I can reinstall RCT3 on the desktop and I'll my stuff will be up, than I'll put the park up for personal download or on a disk and than delete everything. I'll give my mom my desktop and old monitor. And I'm probably buying an hp pavilion desktop featuring intel pentium® processor e5300. It had 640 GB of Hard drive, which is amazing compared to my current desktop which has 75GB! So once I get the new one, I'll be able to install RCT3 & SIMS 3, download my park and CS and start playing again. And since I'll have a good computer, I should be able to play better and the game won't lag near as much! So overall, don't hate me because you thought I quit this, and I will continue once I get the new computer!
