  1. I am going to admit that I lost this round. I looked at it again, and I counted a different number from what I entered. I'll wait to see what the official has to say on this call. At least there are 14 more Find the Ducky Games. BTW, I really wish I was going on the Scandi trip. Maybe next year I'll go on the UK one.
  2. Great TR Natalie. I was excited when this opened up as Hard Rock Park, but obviously my opinion has changed somewhat. If I'm ever in the area I will make sure to check it out. BTW, was that a tumbleweed I saw in one of the pictures???
  3. You are one sneaky guy!! I was with you that day, and I don't even know where you hid it!!
  4. I was thinking of the show Jacka@# when I read "gator wrestling." I'm still on the fence about skydiving.
  5. Thanks for the TR Big Mike. I always wanted to see the rides up close, but I'm too chicken to go up there. Even if you told me that George Clooney was up there, I still wouldnt go!!! I like coasters, but heights like the Stratosphere and drop towers are another thing.
  6. Most schools are still in session and are probably getting out sometime this week, so Monday should be a good day to go. Like I said, if I didn't have this stupid thing called work, I would have left today! Thanks for inviting everyone though. I hope more people from TPR can meet up with you guys. I'm looking forward to the TR.
  7. ^I'm not sure how the crowds are, but I'm sure Cameron was referring to work. I am in the same boat. I'd love to go, since I've never been but unfortunately I need to go to work. I am looking for a new job, preferably something with a lot of vacation time, like Big Mike has!
  8. Actually Cameron and Matt count. If I remember correctly I somehow voted you out of the group and decided that if we were stuck on an island with no food, you'd be the first to go.
  9. We will always have something negative to say about SF parks, and all other parks in general. They will never be run the way we want them to be. Yes SFGAM is my home park, and I do have a pass. Yes I think the prices are ridiculous. I remember it costing around $100 for 4 season passes and parking for 2 cars. However things change and that includes theme parks. Am I going to stop going to GA? No. It's something to do during the summer. Season pass prices have dropped in the last few years. I plan on going to other SF parks so the pass will come in handy. Do I think paying $1 for a locker is crazy? Not really. Like Robb said, it does speed up the line. I would love to see SF drop prices for food, season passes, merchandise and everything else. If they did that, it would be more affordable for families, however it could cost SF too. It may cost a lot of money for that case of hot dogs, and if they sell them cheap, they might not make any money. Afterall that is what they are trying to do.
  10. ^I couldn't have said it any better. I had a lot of fun today, and hopefully we can all meet up again. Thanks again Mike for letting us tag along!!!
  11. I thought I saw it being used as a parking lot, but I wasn't sure. It really is a shame they didn't expand though. Oh well, I'll have to go there a few more times before it closes. I'm also interested as to where all the rides will end up going.
  12. I'm so sad to hear that Kiddieland is closing. The Little Dipper is probably one of the best coasters I've been on. Does anyone know who owns the surrounding land? I think there is an old driving range and go-kart place that has been closed for awhile. If the current owners of Kiddieland did own it, and they weren't closing the park, there could be so much potential!!
  13. I can meet up Tuesday, but it would be after work. I think my boss would get a little suspicious if I called in after having a three day weekend!!
  14. Are you for sure going to SFGAM on Monday? If you are, that's great since I'm off. However if you're going Tuesday, I can still meet up but it won't be until after 3:30, and I know the BMRS has a pretty packed schedule this weekend.
  15. Oh how I miss Vegas!!! I can't wait to go back. If you get a chance, try the buffet at the Bellagio. It's actually cheaper than the buffet at the Rio, and I find the Bellagio buffet has a higher quality of food. I was eating sushi, buffalo roast and all sorts of different types of pizzas (like shrimp and pesto which was good!!) I also enjoy going to the St. Louis Cafe at the Paris. I think it's open 24 hours and they have some great soup and sandwhiches there.
  16. Great job guys!! I laughed so hard tears were coming out of my eyes.
  17. I'm not a fan of tattoos, yet I would like one. I know that doesn't make any sense, but I think it has something to do with my brother. He died almost three years ago, and had several tattoos. I would like to get a tattoo in his memory, but what exactly it would be I don't know. I want something original, and it needs to be something that I won't regret later in life either. I also have to find a place where it won't show if I wear a tank top or strapless dress. I don't want to take any attention away from the fabulous wedding dress I'm going to wear either!!
  18. Did anyone find the tag at Legoland yet? I know there were some issues in finding it. I was in Vegas just days after Big Mike left, so I'm very curious as to where he put it.
  19. Is it strange that I don't find this video disturbing? I work with a few kids that have Aspergers, so I'm used to this kind of behavior. One student has an obsession with dinosaurs and colors, and will ask questions like "is the President important?" or "what if I had meat slicing teeth?" He also talks to himself a lot, so it's either from medication he's on, or just part of his Autism. Another student who has Aspergers is very smart, but he lacks social understanding of situations.
  20. I am going to vote for all the ladies. If Hugh Heffner can have three girlfriends then why can't Big Mike crown all the ladies of TPR as his queen?
  21. I was there yesterday as well. My friend and I were on the first dispatch for S:UF and after that we walked onto TDK. Yesterday was a great day to go since the crowds were so light. We walked onto pretty much everything. We also saw the bloopers show in the pictorium. If you missed it, don't worry about it. You didn't miss much. The bloopers were funny, but there was random banter that wasn't needed.
  22. Yay!! I'm not the only TPR member who is a Packer fan! I wore my Packer sweatshirt to SFGam yesterday. I had a few people say "Oh you're in Bear country." I just said "Yeah who cares. At least the Packers have a QB" and continued walking. Joey, I can't wait to see more of your sporting adventures.
