  1. Thanks for the TR. I'm looking forward to my trip there tomorrow. I am hoping there won't be a crowd either, but from the looks of it I shouldnt worry about it.
  2. What about TPR mousepads? I really wouldn't know what the cost of something like that is though. If it is too much, the mousepads could always be sold in the store; that is if Robb and Elissa decide to do something like that.
  3. ^Glad I could make you day!!! I am upset that I will miss out on Elissa Bingo for the Deep South trip, but I'm sure I will get to experience it in the near future.
  4. ^I think that was the case. I wasn't paying too much attention to it, but I thought I overheard a guy say you had to buy something. But, if you wanted a picture for free, you had to stay behind a rope.
  5. What about TPR bingo daubers for Elissa Bingo? My mom bought a bunch of daubers, and they were really good ones too! She said that they cost around $.70 a piece which isn't too bad, considering you could buy them at bingo halls for around $2 or more. I don't know how much it would cost to personalize one though.
  6. Awesome TR Joey. If you're ever in the midwest, I'll take you to a Cubs, Sox or Brewers game. I am a HUGE Brewers fan, and love the stadium. It's also a great place for tailgating which is a must at any Brewers game (which you can't do in Chicago). However the BEST part of tailgating in Milwaukee, is that you could use beer as currency!! I don't know how many times people have come up to our group and say "hey, I'll give you two (insert beer name here) for a hot dog". On a random note, I just got back from Vegas. As I was walking through the Forum Shops, there is a store there called Field of Dreams (or something along those lines). Pete Rose was there for autographs, however I didn't get a picture or an autograph.
  7. I would pick either Rolling Thunder or Shockwave. My brother and I loved those, and were heartbroken when SFGAM took them out. I'd also put Demon on my list. All three of them are classic in my eyes.
  8. Hey Big Mike!! Sorry you and packfanlv missed out on the Miner Mike credit. I'm sure if I was there, there would have been no problem getting on the ride. I'll be in Vegas on Monday, too bad I'll miss out on meeting you. Maybe I'll see you when the BMRS hits the midwest. Take care and safe travels!!
  9. Seeing this little preview made my horrible day even better. Thanks.
  10. Mike, if you need any TPR ladies to model any of the prizes, I will be happy to help. You could call us "Big Mike's Beauties." Ok...I've been playing too much Price is Right for the Wii.
  11. This story was printed in our local paper. I thought I would share it in case anyone was interested. Here's a general thought/question that is running through my mind. Why is Six Flags giving the green light to add so many new rides and attractions to their parks if they are in debt? Wouldn't it be easier to use the money to pay off some debt? http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/newssun/business/1475720,six-flags-maybe-bankruptcy-031309.article
  12. ^Great point Reality. I worked a summer at Michigan's Adventure (back in 2001) and the crowds were non-exsistant. I worked at Great America previous years, so going from a high volume park to something that wasn't was a huge shock for me personally. Also, MA is located in the Whitehall/Muskegon area, which is used by a lot of people for summer homes or weekend getaways. After Labor Day weekend, everything pretty much closes up shop.
  13. Here's my thought: If Robb and Elissa were indeed going to Thorpe Park, I think they would have posted something by now. There are a lot of gueses and I'd have to think the very same thing. Unless, they just want us to think they're going to Thorpe Park.....hmmmmm....the hunt continues.
  14. I haven't played MK in awhile, but I'd love to play other TPR members. We really should just set aside a set day and time to have a tournament. I know it's been crazy with the holidays (well for me anyway) so maybe after the New Year. I've also added a few people, and some come up with the question mark. Not sure what exactly that means, but next time I play I am going to make sure I added everyone. I may have missed a few people.
  15. 1. Rick Astley 2. Jay Leno 3. Derek Jeter I wanted to also put in David Letterman, but that would be one guess too many, so I went with the obvious. Mike, I don't know where exactly you're travels will take you next year, but if you are heading to Michigan's Adventure let me know. I'm planning on going there sometime next year.
  16. At my work we're doing our own version of The Biggest Losers. So far, I think we've lost a total of 330 pounds (as a group.) Our goal as a group is to lose 700+. On my first two weigh-in's, I lost a pound each week. Unfortunately I gained the weight that I lost back this week. I keep telling myself to get on the Wii Fit and start working out more, it just hasn't happened yet. I like to use the "I never have time during the week to work out" excuse. Good luck Robb, and everyone else as they head towards their personal goals!
  17. I miss MOA. I was just thinking about that place the other day too. I think I'm going to have to take another trip up there soon. I will eventually finish my TR from that trip. We ended up going to Valleyfair and Little Americka that weekend. I'm still trying to figure out how Casey and Robb fit in the tobaggan of death.....
  18. Awesome teams need an awesome jersey! That's why they're Calder Cup Champs!!! I'm sure your ice and roller hockey teams are awesome too! I can't wait to see what you have in store for next year.
  19. Hey Sammi and Mom!! I'm sending out my postcard tomorrow, so it should arrive sometime next week!!
  20. I was thinking of going as Jem. I'm not sure how I am going to pull it off just yet. The pink wig and star earrings are a must. I will definately post a picture once I get it together.
  21. I know IL is already covered, but I might have a couple from other states that I've visited in the past. I'll look around to see what I could find. It may take a day or two. Good Luck on this project Sammi! You're off to a great start already!
  22. ^Haha true. But I wouldnt be suprised if my computers teacher wanted us to do a power point on Egypt or Inuits! Just don't let your teacher contact mine!
