Nathan's Six Flags Great America Photo Emporium!
Jojo19799 replied to kumba830's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Hopefully I didn't corrupt you too much. Am I that dangerous though? It was really hard to focus at work today after having so much fun yesterday. Thanks again! -
Six Flags Funatics Thread 2009

So that's why I haven't received anything. I occasionally get an email from SFSTL, but I tend to ignore them since I am not heading down that way.....yet. -
Griffin does Michigan's Adventure!
Jojo19799 replied to GriffyTiffy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Awesome pictures Griffin. I haven't been to MA for several years now, and boy has that place changed. I don't remember Corkscrew being that colorful. I need to get over there before the summer ends. -
^This is really the first I'm hearing about it, so I am accepting you and the Daily Mail as credible sources.
-
^Thanks for the info. But isn't the Daily Mail the British equivalent to the National Enquirer? I'm glad he's not going to die, because he did go to the hospital. He does look a little deathly in that photo though.....
-
^I'm pretty sure he doesn't have swine flu. Plus, if he did, I'm pretty sure he would be in the hospital.

I like the way you think Dan. Raven will perform at the SW Amphitheater. I think they start giving out wristbands around 10am, so I would avoid that area during that time, but then again I don't know how many people will show up to see her. If you're trying to get in a lot I would hit TDK, S:UF and Raging Cajun first. Flat rides will (or should) have shorter wait times, but that all depends on the crowd. The log flumes are iffy. Sometimes there is a wait, but other times its a walk on. I think you'll be able to get on all the rides you want though. Go with flow of everything and use your best judgement. I'm sure it will be busy when you go, but a majority of people will be back at work...like me.

Big Mike, I meant to ask you this question while hanging out at SFGAm last month. Where does Lucky Dog stay while you're traveling? Does he go to some posh dog hotel? Or, does some awesome dog sitter come by the Big Mike World Headquarters to take care of him? If you're ever in the area again, feel free to bring him over to my place. I'm sure my two dogs would love to have another buddy!! I can't wait to see the SFGAm pictures.

I love the fact that TPR has a rant thread. I think I'm going to be using it a lot the next few days. *ahem* Here's my rant for the day.... I'm trying to apply for another position at the school I work at. I asked several weeks ago for several letters of reference from family friends and past co-workers. Well today it turns out that they're interviewing. Guess what?! I don't even have my stuff together because I'm still waiting for ONE letter of reference. So with the two letters I have and my resume I apply. I highly doubt I'll get an interview because my boss also had to take a few jabs at me back in May during my yearly review. I am starting to think it just might be time to leave this place all together.......

Personally I would love to see a separate entrance to HH built. It will thin out the crowd at the main gate. Think of how many less bags there will be for security to check. SWT crowds would be lighter as well, especially when HH closes. Granted the walk from the main gate to SWT isn't that long, and they'll have to spend money to put in metal detectors, but still having a second entrance wouldn't hurt.

*** THE BEBES *** Rainbow Magicland ITALY TR
Jojo19799 replied to The Bebes's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^Good to know!! I'm going to make it personal goal to go to as many Maddam Tussauds Museums as possible. I have a picture of myself and Brad Pitt from Vegas. I pretty much pushed Angelina Jolie out of the way in order to get the picture. Mr. Bebe - I would be calling the authorities on the shenanigans Al Roker is trying to pull. Then again, Brad could have called the authorities on me. -
Speaking of America's Got Talent, Drew Thomas made it through to the Vegas round. He once had a show at the old Theatre Royale. I'd like to say I saw his show, but I can't. I tried to see it, but about 5 minutes into the show an announcement came on stating they were having technical difficulties and the show will not go on. We left the theater feeling confused, and we never went back. I hope I didn't miss anything.

*** THE BEBES *** Rainbow Magicland ITALY TR

I love reading your TR's especially at work! It makes my day go by a bit faster. I'm happy to see that Mrs. Bebe was feeling better by the end of the day. Mr. Bebe, I hope the tree didn't hurt you too much. At least the police where there to apprehend the suspect. I've been to the Madam Tussauds in Vegas. It was awesome and a lot of fun. Where else could you get a picture with former presidents or celebrities? Looking forward to the next installment! -
