The Official TPR 2010 Trips Thread
Jojo19799 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm finally listening to it, and as much as I want to go to bed, I just can't. I feel the need to listen to the rest of it!!! Robb, I'm sorry that I like history and its "boring". I lost it after hearing your comments. Thanks for answering my question Elissa. I didn't think we would go as a group, but I'm sure (or hoping) that there are a few other people out there that would want to go before or after the trip (because I'm secretly a nerd, and coincidentally I wear librarian glasses now). -
Theme Park Review 2010 Trip Flyers!

Sorry, but I will miss the chat yet again tonight, so here is my question. On the IntimidaTOUR, will we be able to go to Colonial Williamsburg as a group, or is that something we should plan to do before or after the trip on our own? -

Matt, do you not remember what his future profession is? -

Sorry, I type way to fast sometimes. Besides, why are the letters "I" and "O" next to each other? I tried to scare you while you were in the leaf pile, but that didn't work out to my advantage. So, when is everyone going to start using my quotes as a signature? -

^The leaf fight happened outside one of the bathrooms. I'm not 100% sure how it started. I remember trying to scare Jeremie and Griffin. Then all of a sudden leaves started to fly everywhere. Think of what could happen if we had a snowball fight! I realized we didn't take a lot of pictures, and that was probably due to the fact that we were having so much fun. BTW, Nathan did not scare me. -
I don't think words can sum up how I felt about yesterday, so maybe I will do an interpretive dance to the tune of Ice Ice Baby. You'll have to wait until next time to see it. Jeremie did pwned everyone in the leaf fight. I should know, I became injured. Who knew leaves can hurt you. Dan, please do come down and visit us during the summer! Nathan, please bring Avery with you next time. I think she's my new kindred spirit! I miss you guys already and can't wait until our next meet up. I really hope it's during the winter. Sledding anyone?

Six Flags Great America Photo TR

I remember they did it in past years, but they didn't give out PB Twix!!! I could have asked for a Twix, but the guy giving it out gave one to a little girl in a stroller. I couldn't take candy from her. Yet, I could try to scare a little girl walking around. Were you living under a rock? Don't worry, I lived under one myself. I'm not a fan of haunted houses, but I did enjoy TT2 and LAFF. The train was the highlight of the trip. It would always have a bit of a wait to it due to only having one train running and one station closed down. I lost interest in it when they decided to go with the Pigman story. -
SFGAM Fright Fest PTR 10/18

That's because I was making random faces. I have already told you about my utter disdain for RB. Now, before everyone gets into an uproar, I'd like to answer the following question: Yes I have been on it several times and I do think it's a great ride. I just don't care for the sick feeling I get after riding it. Plus I was working at the park when it opened, and my rides didn't get any love and I had to go help clean it every night. -

LIES!!! We totally got that. I guess we'll have to have a rematch though. It was a fun day. I wish I got more on camera (or video) but maybe next time. -

^I loved that video. I couldn't find Matt, but I'll have to watch it again. Did someone slip and fall when they first showed Chicago? Anyway, I've been going to FF since it started. Personally I think this year is about the same as last year. The mazes and areas are the same, just maybe a different location. I know it past years they had Area 51 in Hometown Square or where Shuttle is. When FF first started, every area was themed, and had some characters walking around. I remember the train always had something going on too. At least they kept Love at First Fright. It really is a fun show to watch, and if you haven't seen it, go see it! -

No....SEXY!!! BTW, my new theme song is Sexy B*tch by David Guetta featuring Akon. It's totally appropriate. We can't forget about the map incident. I should probably post that picture soon. -

I still feel bad for trying to scare that little girl. I wasn't even being scary. Maybe next time I'll take a picture with a clown. This is what happens when I become possessed by the devil. -
^^It was still themed to Paul Bunyon last Sept. when I was there. You could still see Knott's references within the ride. I know it was going to be re-themed to some barnyard show, but I don't know if that's happened yet. I'm actually going next week and will have a look. Also, don't forget to look for the home plate, its by Spongebob.

^Too bad I'll be in Minnesota stalking Matt. My friend is going to be playing "Lydia" in the Tinseltown area. She didn't say if she would be in the haunted house or just roaming the place. I don't recall what they put in the Tinseltown area last year. I thought I saw a guy that was made up like he was burnt to a crisp. Does anyone else remember that, or was I seeing things?

The Bryan and Adam Show Thread
Jojo19799 replied to Not For Sale's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
And this is why you're number one on the sexy countdown. I'm looking forward to more of the Bryan and Adam show, and more of Matt's sexiness. -
^If you must. Years ago, the park turned the train into the Boo Line during FF. I remember they had several horror film characters charge onto the train at the Hometown Station. Does anyone know why they stopped this? I always loved the train during FF. I know in past years they had some story lines where there was some pig man on the loose, Scooby Doo and the gang were trying to solve a mystery and some robbers were on the loose. They were a little lame and nothing like the horror characters climbing on the train scaring the living daylights out of you!

^How can we forget about the meet up? That's the only thing I've been thinking about lately. I drove by the park on my way home from work today. I noticed that Tiny and her babies are on Eagle, and STT is pretty much done with its new coat of blue paint. I wonder if they're going to paint Six Flags on it again.
