  1. ^I remember that as well. They didn't taste very good.
  2. Sounds like someone re-gifted the cookies, after they ate all the cookies that were still in shape. Or, the tin dropped which caused everything to break? I don't know. I really try to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to things like this. But it is an odd gift. One year, my grandmother (who I really don't hear from at all anymore nor do I care too) sent a Christmas card to my brother and I (a separate one for each of us). Well the envelopes were addressed to us, but inside she put the wrong cards, with a check for $50 made out to our cousins (who we never ever met). Lets just say that my brother and I received a much smaller amount each Christmas.
  3. Dan I will be adding you the next time I play. I have to admit that I haven't played it in awhile. Oh heck I don't even know when the last time I played the Wii even was! Wait, what am I doing here on TPR posting about random stuff? I could be playing MK, or better yet Toy Story Mania!!!!!
  4. I remember when Creepy Crawlers were all the rage! My brother wanted one for Christmas, and so did his best friend. So my mom, and the mom of my brother's friend got together and searched high and low for these stupid machines. Yes, they did find them, and made those stupid gummy things to scare the crap out of me! However, it was a lot of fun to make them! I remember the weird smell they would have after you're done cooking them. Elissa, you're mom was right, they are very messy.
  5. ^I'm SO jealous! I really hope he was nice to you! I didn't technically meet Rob Zombie, but about 10 years ago I was in Muskegon, MI over Thanksgiving. We got back to our hotel, and as I was walking in the door, Rob Zombie and one of his body guards were getting on the elevator. I stopped in my tracks and had a "whoa" moment. I was young so I didn't know what to do. I was just in awe that he was at the same hotel as us. I did meet Phil Stacey from AI, and Chris Young (who was on Nashville Star). Both of them are really nice guys and I had about a 5 - 10 minute chat with both of them. I also saw Tom Bergeron at a Starbucks in Marina Del Rey and Shaq at Knotts.
  6. Thank you. My memory isn't that great these days. I'm getting old. I may not understand why Caldwell did what he did because I'm not the coach. He had his reasonings. I do think that his decision was a bit stupid, but he did what he did. It's over and done with, and with all the backlash he's getting I'm sure he won't be making the same mistake twice. That is if you want to call it a mistake.
  7. I just think a 16-0 record is impressive, but yes a Superbowl is important. However, didn't the Patriots have a 16-0 record then go on to lose to either the Colts or Giants in the Superbowl? I don't remember what team it was, but I'm pretty sure a Manning was the QB playing in that game.
  8. I feel that I have failed in my cheerleading duties. I have yet to think of of a cheer, and the most important games are coming up! Big Mike, are you going to post pictures of the amazing cards everyone sent you?
  9. Well I am only working two days this week. I'm off starting Wednesday. I'm in the same boat as Moose. I have to watch all my vacation days, but it is so worth it!
  10. 1. What are your initial thoughts? I think this is a great idea. 2. Can you think of anything else we could be offering? At the moment no. 3. Is this something that interests you? Very much so. 4. Why would you NOT be interested in this? I am interested in joining. I was thinking about joining ACE just for some of the events, but I would much rather go to the events with other TPR members. 5. Any additional feedback you can give us based on the information you see here. Would having a premium membership let us have some sort of discount on trips as well? Even if you didn't offer a discount on trips, it wouldn't bother me because I feel that the price for trips is very reasonable.
  11. ^Wow. I guess I did hear right then! He's an idiot for doing that, and if I owned that team, he would have been GONE. I know he has a contract, and the owners will never fire him, well for now anyway. But, I can't believe he jepordized an almost perfect season like that. (I say almost because who knows what would have happened, but I'm sure they would of had one). Then again, we have no idea what was going through his head when he was making is so called "coaching desicions". Then again, I don't think I want to know. I hope Caldwell chalks this up to experience and gets his head out of his bum and starts coaching. In other news, I think Bears fans are finally realizing that their team will not make the playoffs. However, I'm sure just about every fan wants Lovie Smith gone.
  12. Wisconsin cows > California cows. End of story. BTW, I think people from Wisconsin may have cheese in there heads as well, hence the term "cheese head".
  13. I wasn't paying too much attention to the Colts game, but did I hear right when the commentator said that some of the Colts starting line is on the bench this game? Now I don't remember the exact wording of this comment, but that was the basic gist of it. I'm a bit dumbfounded on this one. I hope someone can help straighten it out for me.
  14. ^ Normally in situations like that and the one I encountered yesterday, I really wouldn't say anything. But I guess I just wanted to point out something that was so obvious to her (or should have been). Oh, and since when did California have happy cows? I thought all happy cows came from Wisconsin. They are the cheese state after all.
  15. I say it in a more sarcastic tone, it's not technically yelling. I guess I should have phrased it better. Really, I am not a jerk about it and I'm not trying to be a jerk. Ok going back a second time and reading my post, I really should have phrased it differently! I take responsibility on that one.
  16. Terry, does your client happen to be from backwoods Wisconsin? Today at Panera (in Wisconsin) I had this lady in front of me taking her sweet time at the soda machine. She kept hitting the ice button and nothing was coming out. The following conversation took place as I was gathering lids, straws and napkins. Me: It looks like there is no more ice. Lady: Oh I guess there isn't! Me: Well when the machine is empty ice doesn't come out. I'm not sure why you had to keep hitting the button. If ice didn't come out the first time, what makes you think it will come out two seconds later? She got a little huffy and left. BTW, I'm not making fun of everyone from Wisconsin, it's just that a majority of them don't know how to drive and well the above conversation is a perfect example of the lack of common sense I've experienced. I could boycott the whole state, but I refuse because IL is lame and the closest Qdoba is in WI.
  17. I find that no matter where you live, there are going to be rude people. I can't tell you how many times I would hold the door for someone and not get a "thank you" out of it. I've gotten to the point where I just yell "you're welcome" just so I could feel better about my good deed. I have been in crowded stores trying to get through, and I say "excuse me" about ten times before the stupid person decides to move. I would give anything to hear a "thank you", "excuse me" or even "you're welcome".
  18. ^I'm slowly starting to collect all the older Genesis and Nintendo systems. I do have a Wii, and I know I can download the older games, but I prefer to play the games on the old systems. Moose - when I see a claw game with ducks in it, I must play it. I would like to say I collect them too, but I'm not out physically looking for ducks to purchase. If I see them and I like it, I'll get it. As for my own personal collection, I collect shot glasses, or as what Disney likes to call them "toothpick holders".
  19. Oh I might as well share too. I received: Toy Story Mania and Super Mario Brothers for the Wii CD's by Lady Gaga, David Guetta and Katy Perry Oz Season 1 Six Feet Under Season 1 Grey's Anatomy Season 3 Flight of the Conchords Seasons 1 & 2 Some clothes and a lap desk that adjusts for my laptop. My mom is making me a recipe holder/flip book. She is including all the recipes from her side of the family, including a few from my grandmother (which are still written down on the original cards that she used). It's probably the best present ever, because she knows I've been asking for family recipes for some time now.
  20. I just got your card yesterday in the mail! Thank you so much! I'll be sending out a package after the holidays so keep an eye out for it!
  21. This link might help a bit. I found it courtesy of SFGAMworld.com. changsfgam2011.blogspot.com/
  22. ^Where was that picture taken? It looks like it was taken from the employee lot, but I'm probably wrong.
  23. Sadly I haven't. I don't have any desire to see it....ever. Although, I did see Return to Oz, and that freaked me out when I was a kid. I've never seen MILF or HISTA either. From the sounds of it, I wasn't missing much.
  24. Captain EO is probably the only thing that MJ ever did that I really enjoyed. I can't wait to see it again.
