Photo TR: Jojo goes to Little Ammericka!
Jojo19799 replied to Jojo19799's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Ok, are you ready for some more death? I know I sure am! Our next ride on the list! This really isn't a death ride though. Hi, I'm a blue train. Would you like to ride? Wheeeeeeeee! For you track enthusiasts. For the nuts and bolts enthusiasts. The little kid in the last row cracked me up. I think he's going to be a future TPR member. Meteor is fun for everyone! Here is the haunted house. I don't know what is in it. But I can tell you what's behind it..... DEATH! This is where they bury everyone that has died. I felt at ease knowing my burial needs would be taken care of. What's this? The Lady Gay is gone!!!! It's been replaced with metal stuff! Oh wait..nevermind. That's just the old log ride from Kiddieland. It will be built sometime in the future. Well that's all for now. I'll leave you with a pile of metal. I have a lot more pictures for you so stay tuned! -
Hey gang! I'm Jojo, and my friends Jerrykoala2112, Deathbydinn and GCoaster12 (aka Jeremie, Jon and Gavin) and I are going to take you on an adventure to Little Amerricka! You're probably thinking "Hey Jojo, why is this an adventure?" Well let me tell you why. Little Amerricka contains lots of DEATH and it's literally in the middle of nowhere. Now I won't bore you with more typing. It's picture time!! This is where we're going today! Our first coaster of the day. It doesn't look so bad right now.... Here we have two fellow TPR members demonstrate the "clench and squish" method. It's a bit painful...but trust me, they're still alive. Yep, they're alive as well! Our next ride was the roll plane of death! I don't think he's enjoying death right now.... I'm glad I skipped this ride. It was just too much spinning and death for me. Jeremie doesn't mind death right now. However Jon seems a little hesitant...... Just after Gavin got out of the plane, he kissed the ground. I would have too! Jon made it safely back. And so did Jeremie. Whew! So far no lives have been lost.

Midwest Bash at Six Flags Great America
Jojo19799 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Let's just say he had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. WCB was a lot of fun, and I'm sure Mid West Bash will be just the same. I can't wait! -

I'm interested in going, and I'll be bringing some friends along for the fun. -
Wow. I wasn't expecting this. This sure is interesting to hear. I'm not going to go into any speculations right now. I'll just wait to see what happens. But I do have one question. Riddler's Revenge and Chang are over 150 feet. Why is Six Flags asking for a permit to build a "150 foot coaster" then? I'm assuming they are not counting the footers, but rcdb.com has a height of over 150 for both.

^Oh I don't think there is anything wrong with the themeing of the rope course. It's just the same layout as the one being installed at SFGam. I didn't even know we were getting one this year! I'm assuming it's an upcharge attraction, but does anyone know what the price will be, or if it may be free to season pass holders? When I worked there many moons ago, there were a lot of out of town college kids working. The park sets up residency at two local colleges: Carthage and Parkside both are in WI (about a 30-40 min drive away). If you stayed there, they had busses to shuttle you back and forth, or you could just get a ride with someone who had their car. If you have any questions regarding the hiring process and what to do, I would just call HR. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you. If you want to know about all the fun and crazy stuff that went on behind the scenes, feel free to send me a PM.

First she sings a hit song that is set on a sinking ship. Then she get her own theater built in Vegas. Now she's building a water park. What will Celine do next? She amazes me sometimes. -
Nathan, No means NO. Today was an awesome day. I was impressed with Little Dipper, although they're still working out a few kinks (which isn't a big deal). Like Matt said, they were working quickly to get all problems resolved. I was really impressed with the Glow in the Dark parade. I think it could have used some more floats and characters. Maybe that's something they're working on for the future, after all, it was only the opening weekend of this parade.

^Rumors is the key word here. Look, I'm not insulting Chang or the fact that we may (or may not) get it. We already have IW, why get another? Then again, we do have two Batman rides which are totally different. Eh whatever. I'm not in charge of the company. Jo "I think I'm the ONLY person who doesn't want Chang" Galayda

I just wanted to extend an invitation for this Saturday to go to the park. Gavin and I area going to head over there for awhile. It should be a decent day, providing Tom Skilling is right. I won't get there until 10ish since I have to go to the chiropractor that morning. Strange, I'm going to the chiropractor then going to ride some coasters. I might as well just cancel and ride Iron Wolf a few times. That should do the trick.
