Yes friends, it was another classic Sushi dinner night. Luke, Jay, Erin, and I hit our favorite Japanese restaurant, called "I Love Sushi" and stopped at Target for stuff. Kept seeing all kinds of interesting things and reminders of TPR. And penguins. EVERYBLOODYWHERE penguins! That sounds like a rough date no matter what path you walk. So we get to Target and the holiday wares are out, but there are some very different things. "And I will call him mini-me..." This armor suit is in a shadow box on the way to the restroom at I Love Sushi. Looks big right? It's only about 10 inches tall. Would hate to meet the guy that wore it. Those Samurai dudes were tough and mean!

Excellent! What more can you say? Hope you feel better man. BTW, I was out at Target and Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago, and there were penguins EVERYWHERE!

Kind of a neat combo of Luxor Hotel and Adventuredome, but set in Memphis. If this, Ole South, and Splash Valley all happen, there will be some great new reasons to visit Tennessee. Hope this works out.

While it is past 30 days, this thread was kinda like my coffee in the morning. I looked forward to it each day and will miss it. Win or lose, Robb did move mountains during this journey and influenced others to better themselves. This of it'self, is a worthy accomplishment.

Sometimes, people lash out at others because something is missing or unfulfilling in their own lives. Such a waste when that energy could be used to better one's self. There's an old martial arts saying about better extending one's own line instead of cutting another's Chin up kiddo. Meeting the mouse and his friends is cool. That's why BIG kids go all the time.

We all have similar senses of humor and can appreciate your "unique" perspective on things. That is a compliment, not a shot, btw. With this crowd, you never know, so you just take a gamble. You did good man.

Interesting topic! I've always been fascinated by the one shot western Derringers (sp?). Might own one some day as a display piece. I'm an archer (by way of martial arts) and enjoy doing that on the weekends. While not the same as a firearm, there is something satisfying about targeting with family or friends and catching up. One friend and I used to regularly go to the local gun and knife show twice a year. Have wanted to train more in firearms, just so I know how to use one properly (and safely) and further expand the martial arts teaching. Don't really care about collecting guns, becomeing a "minute man" or preparing for doom as the common stereotypes would suggest. Not really in to hunting either, but, like a gun owner, I enjoy shooting targets. That's inanimate targets, NOT people or things, for the literal and ignorant. Anyway, can relate friend.

Man, there was a little part of me that wanted to see the pink unicorn head go flying off mid-ride, but nay, it did not happen, even in the midst of fanciful unicorn on unicorn action. All hail the moving walkway PoV!

Bravo! There is so much good and community spirit all around. What a great thing to see. Terriffic idea for inmate rehab, and great use of their talent and energy. That has to make their time a bit brighter too. That's just a wonderful set of positive community programs. You and your town have much to be proud of for your humanity and kindness.
