^ Hey thanks for the encouragement. Good advice there too. She's been pretty good about figuring out the carbs so far. We still had a good time, and a mini-golf rematch is probably in the works.

OMG!!! This is awesome!! montezooma thank you sooooo much for posting this stuff. I'm a HUGE fan of this park. You have just some incredible info and background. Please keep posting all this great stuff. It's such a gold mine! I've attempted to model several of the Opry rides on my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?p=r&user=Platformz&page=2 and have some video of what remains of Grizzly River Rampage. -

Yes, another round of updates today. Screens attached for your dismay...er...enjoyment. Remember when you use the Porcelain Goddess, TPR is watching. Altogether now....EWWWWWW! Kneel before the Porcelain Goddess...bowl slide. The unnamed water park is shaping up. The new Shirley Temple kiddie slide. Just for KidTums. Journey to the Center of Robb with it's new Vault Icee inspired colors. It'll leave you thirsty and weak-kneed. Then you'll do it again because it's awesome. -

^Somebody did the same for me once and one day it'll be your turn to do the same. Good luck! -
CTU Agent, Valley Bend, aka Carl T Jones has it and I'd bet University near Dick's Sporting Goods would too. Dude, we should hang out and talk coasters some time. I'm down by Martin Road. Sunfire, soda good. Icee BETTER. Wes, we love you man....in the most manly, platonic, non-sexual way imaginable. Really! Ooops, Robb's spotlight, let's get back on topic.
-
It appears we're on the same schedule here, Robb. The girlfriend and I were at Target as well yesterday. Vault Icee insued. At least you stayed steady and didn't gain, and you had a good time out. Hang in there man.

Yep, Mom has diabetes (recently diagnosed). Big diet changes. She's adjusting pretty well.

RCT 3 Questionaire
TheRapidsNerd replied to californiascreamer1's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
1) Double check any security or anti-virus or anything else running in the background. Other than that, dunno. 2) Select your wall type. Click the mouse to place that wall. Now put another wall in that same place (square should turn red). Hold shift and move the mouse forward. This will raise the wall above the previous one. Click the mouse while still holding shift to place the wall on top of the first one. You put a roof on a building the same way. 3) & 4) No clue. 5) There is a building editor mode. If you take the technique from #2 above, you should be able to make a building, and then there should be an option that let's you highlite the squares around the base and save all that as one piece for import later. Will test this out and get back to you on it later. There is a similar option for saving surrounding scenery with a particular ride you've built. 6) Once you get comfortable with making buildings, you build the inside, then the outside. Take a look at my Mr. Freeze station at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxGF2TzekUM. While simple, it shows that you have to be a careful planner and leave room for everything before the outside walls go up around the interior. I didn't quite do that, so I wasn't able to include some detail inside the station. Just keep in mind what you'd see while riding the ride and try building that first. 7) No clue there. Hope my rambling helps some. Good luck! -

Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate them. Yeah, I'm having a good time building. Lotsa mistakes and "growing", but having a lot of fun. The view distance makes stairs, parts of slides, and whole coasters look incomplete when zoomed out. The supports are there, but the camera has to be zoomed in close. Wow. This as a real park? While very cool, we'd better invest in some goooooood planners right off the bat, because this thing needs A LOT of work. Thanks again, man. -
As one crescent roller to another, I'd love a copy of that 7-up cake recipe. Used bake cookies and enjoy cooking quite a bit. It was a proud moment to take the poison control number off speed dial recently.

Expedition Beer (aka Deja Vu) gets theming today. That's right pint lovers, micro brewery copper storage tanks inspired the station design. There's now a beer stand off the que and the train flies over the keg storage area. There are even seats for sitting back with your favorite ale and loop watching, tv watching...or any OTHER watching that comes to mind. I'm told both a first aid station and a wings place will be nearby for emergencies. Brings a whole new meaning to hang over, eh? New station in the background. Note the black and tan sign. -
Thanks all. Hey, it's for pure randomness and entertainment. Nope, haven't found blue balls, yet. Yep, sugar free lotsa stuff for Mom who recently found out she was diabetic. I too had NEVER heard of the 7-up cake until recently. It's southern favorite and a well known (to the region) tradition, like the Christmas Pickle . The homemade stuff is supposed to be even better than what you buy at the store...which is really good. There's also Orange Crush cake and Dr. Pepper Cherry Vanilla cake. The former, yummy, the latter, imagine cough medicine flavored cake. (cringe) BTW, the Christmas Pickle is a pickle ornament hidden somewhere on the green family christmas tree. Whoever finds it get's some special extra present. Also learned this recently after seeing the pickle at Target and saying HUH?!?!? from http://shop.moravianbookshop.com/browse.cfm/4,112.htm (google search) Gonna buy me a Christmas Pickle, some purple balls, another 7-up cake, and have a grit. Just one... The Christmas Pickle!

Used GE tonight (Nov 23, 2007 1:37 am) and was able to view Great Adventure, SFA, and old sat pics of Astroworld. If this was a one time thing, I'd say you hit a glitch during load or sat pic update. If it keeps happening, GE isn't happy with a recent change or something on your computer. Any new hardware or software recently installed? New updates on anything? If it helps, GE frequently forgets/loses random parts of my saved places...after I save them 3 times. Hang in there on working this out. -
Thanksgiving is a course a time to reflect on all the good things in your life and share time with loved ones...or tolerate relatives you can't stand while gorging on free food. Lucky for me it's the former. Since not everybody can be with loved ones, I wanted to share a little bit of my time with my family. Hopefully this brings a smile or brightens what can be a tough time when you're alone on a holiday, for whatever reason. There's much to be thankful for this year, including being a part of this board and all the great people on it. I've enjoyed it much this first year. Ok ok, enough sappiness, it's picture time! And this 7-up cake, but we all got too full. Yay! Leftovers for me! This concludes a little quirky slice of Thanksgiving with my family. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for taking time to read. Cheers! Desert time. We were gonna have this pie... The ultra exclusive and never before seen, mashed potato and gravy PoV! Mmmm.... mashed potatoes... The Feast. Not too little, not too much. Call your internet provider and tell them you want smell-o-vision. Crap! Now I owe Emeril a quarter! Um, not so much. They did turn out well. (I'm polishing off the last one of the leftovers I brought home.) *munch* So I took the crescent rolls out of the package and tried to put them on the pan. Simple thing, right? Cranberry Sauce. Extreme close-up! Wooooaaaaa! I got to sit at the BIG table this year! Yay! Turkey's done! And nothing ran afoul. This putter is Tom Hanks approved. It helped me win too. Choose yer weapon! My colored balls. Yes, predictable joke, but you still grinned. Still waiting on the turkey, so Mom, Dad, and I had a putting contest. Yes, we all like minigolf and we're wierd. It was great fun! Themeing! Cracker pic because we ate all the shrimp cocktail. Sorry crackers, but you got served. We started off with snacks while the turkey cooked. This is just awesome white cheddar popcorn I bought from a coworker to support his scout troup. Trails End rocks!

Hey! I had one of those the other day before workout...at Target. Thought of you. That's so weird you mention that because I had a frozen coke squishie tonight and thought of Jahan. BTW, the Ruby Tuesday mini burgers and mini turkey burgers are awesome! My friend and I got the salad bar and mini burgers option. Washed it down with lemon water and enjoyed a good meal. Back to topic, congrats! - A fellow Vault Squishie fan

^ Thank you. They're pretty fun to ride and offer some nice views of the entrance...that hasn't been built yet. Hoping inspiration will speak again on that one. As of now, it has sort of a family park feel, but with bigger rides. Knoebel's with a hyper? FYI, Headspin is still indeed Headspin...so far. Kidding aside, that one's finally a winner and it'll stay put. Anyway here are a couple more random screens. McD's Super Size train and the back of the TPR guest house with it's private sky lounges and bar. Ground level view of Squid Attack. Sounds like a bad 50's sci-fi movie, doesn't it? -
The buddy system for workouts helps a bunch. It keeps me motivated and it's also a chance to catch up. Man, if I was close to LA, I'd offer to be an additional workout partner. Stay with the progresss and keep up the good work, Robb.

Since this is Spyland, if they have a sneak preview, do they kill you afterward since you've seen too much? Joking aside, this is an interesting take on a park and I'm curious as to how it comes out. -

dt, that quote is now part of my email sig at work. Most funny! Ditto on the new theming. I always did go for the nature, woodsy look at parks verses crazy bright structures. Gonna be a wierd mix of neon, camp, and sea themeing once SpongeBob SquareCoaster goes in. Somebody else had a good point too. Don't loose the cool kite-eating tree/swing. It's a good theme. -
