  1. Sounds like it got cleaned up some, but now we know CTU's true colors. That devil! (said with gentle humor and respect toward CTU's beliefs)
  2. ^LOL! Yeah it got creepy because they were EVERYBLOODYWHERE! Glad you like the TR and hopefully it didn't damage your health any. That's always been a tradition at my apartment. Kidding aside, this was the first year I'd heard of the whole Christmas Pickle thing. Saw one several weeks ago at target (naturally) and went WTF?! Should have bought it for the naughty factor, but skipped it for being short on cash. Not a kosher move on my part. I'm digging how this conversation has run in new directions. Glad you all are havin fun.
  3. Uh-huh. Just friends you say? Man, those pics remind me of the club days in DC. Ah, what glorious memories... Be careful of what and to what degree you post stuff CTU. Not being a weak, just some friendly advice.
  4. I'll second that. Cool scheme, no?
  5. Tyler, this thread gets better by the minute! And you even freaked out Wes. Awesome! LOL!
  6. Jens room sounds awesome. Would love to see the pics. Yep, The Bettie Lounge is the living room with it's butterfly chairs and vintage 70's beanbag, Contempo Asian bedroom and bath (like that's NEVER been done before), kitchen has the putting mat, complete with Walmart and Target putters and golfballs. Who needs a table when you've got mini golf in your pad? Trying to figure out how to theme the kitchen with some park stuff and make it fun.
  7. *Sigh* Well, I'll cancel the Girls Gone Wild crew... Hey, have a good time up there in Gatlinburg. Pancake Pantry makes a great breakfast for 2 and The Village is beautiful place to walk around with someone.
  8. Sounds like we should tak RIP Psyclone out for a guys night out. RIP, man I understand. Been there. While we're at it, Tyler would benefit from that excursion too. He looks close to 21
  9. LOL! That's awesome! Seems you have as an intense a like for Norma Jean as I do for Bettie Page. I like your place. Yes, it was a grand day when I moved up to Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. Felt really saucy buying from Pier 1! Hey thanks for sharing those pics.
  10. Enjoyed the first video in the series. Now I don't have to go to DAK. You just saved me a bunch of cash and a trip on a ho-hum rapids ride. Can't wait to play Dinosaur at home. Got a good laugh outta that one.
  11. Looks like a good start so far. I like the powered coaster idea vs. a regular christmas train (nothing wrong with either). If Kringle Towers is a resort hotel, the roof-top pool make it stand out amoung the "competition" if you will. If this is a resort/park complex kinda like Universal/IOA/the nearby hotels, it might be a good idea to look up some resorts and see what ammenities they have and how they're set up. I did this in one of my projects, and it was a big help, especially since VIP poolside private cabana's are big trend of late. You might discover other things like this. Did I mention I knew NOTHING about resort hotels or their extras? LOL! Hope this helps you and good luck terrific holiday idea.
  12. Kicka$$! Ledger did what I hoped he would, make Joker his own. Love it!
  13. I gotta say, this one was front page worthy. Great job! ^ Don't worry Jahan, there is room for both Icees in your life. It's when your affections for Starbucks crowd out either Icee that things get tricky.
  14. Hey! I recognize that Carrabbas and parking deck! You know you're like 5 minutes away from my apartment there. The "Bull Nog" was hilarious as was this TR. Great job man!
  15. ^ Hey thanks for the kind words. You are SO right! Hard to believe I've spent about 3 months building. Doesn't seem like it's been that long. ^^Glad we're cool and glad to help out a fellow artist. As always folks, the kind words and encouragement are greatly appreciated. TPR is just a fun board with some awesome people...and I'm so thankful you let wierdos like me in here.
  16. (getting up off the floor) Wow! The themeing is outstanding. Makes just tube slides on a hill (pretty much a standard) look REALLY weak.
  17. Thank you passing along the recipe Chuck!
  18. ^^ Here when I talked about the entrance gift shop, I mentioned Lil Robby Rob and Muggsy. While not quite a foul, it's close. That's what was meant by treading on your creative stuff. No harm intended there. Your own RCT3 work rocks. Great to see Fakeland visualized.
  19. You know, it's stuff like this that really makes the random thread fun. Jahan, you really did a great job with that cake. Building something like that isn't easy, even if the "footer" is aready poured. Congrats and hoping to see more culinary thread from you and the other chefs here at TPR.
  20. Between the torture blender and Igor the Mixer, this TR and Jahan's Cake TR are two of the best times I've had learning some new cooking tips. Great job and highly entertaining! Same goes for Jahan! Looking forward to more "Cooking With..." segments from you and the other chefs of the board. Hmmm...imagine the culinary power of Joe, Jahan, and Chuck in the same kitchen. Wicked! LOL! Igor the mixer...
  21. Hey thanks! Enjoyed your Cake TR and the Disneyland one too. Yeah, I see Vault or Frozen Coke and I think of you, Robb, and several others, not to mention all the other stuff. It gets comical. At first I thought, "Ok, this penguin thing is just a clever gag." With them being EVERYWHERE lately, it's more valid and real. Agreed. Waaaay too many penguins.
  22. upside down - A lot of fun and a lot of work. Hope everybody's also having fun with it. That's what really matters. FLIPDUDE - Thanks for the compliments and encouragement. I did tread some on your creative stuff by mentioning it here in my insomniatic stupor. Appologies for that. Yeah when Daniel passed away, I wanted to build something for him like you did with that great picture. This finally gave me a way to do it. There was a part of me that did wonder what Fakeland might look like modeled in RCT3. brandon - Thanks as always for the encouragement and enthusiasm. Every bit counts. Kat Von D - Thank you for being the best thing to happen to tattoos and platform shoes in a long time. (That's IF she was ever on the boards and IF she ever posted to one of my threads. Well, a guy can dream can't he?)
  23. Since this weekend is going to be wicked busy, I'm posting the update tonight at 2:44 am. Dude, I'm so crashing right now I can barely type, but this this update has to get done now. Anyway, more structures and a new ride. The new ride is scooterdoug's Coaster Dynamix kit, which he named Tsunami. He's was kind enough to let me attempt to model it AND put in TPR-Land. Thanks again scooterdoug for building a great and inspirational ride that added a lot to the park. You have to give credit where credit is due, you know? The Tsunami Coaster Dynamix Edition PoV is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cpzv73rUTUY Ok, onto the pics... Overview of the park to date. It's filling in. Thanks again scooterdoug for a cool design and contribution. And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pass out. Thank you and nighty night Bugs! Through the trees! Yes, even in virtual reality, the same cliche humor can't be ignored. What a view! Sarcasm and wittiness failing captain... The off-center cobra roll adds a new slant on the ride. I liked it, so I kept it in. Symmetry is overrated. Makes a nice symbolic tidal wave, what with the white rails, eh? The insanely tall lift hill. Yes, I know "Thank you Captain Obvious for that amazing caption. How DO you do it?" scooterdoug's Tsunami is a B&M invert inspired by water and flow. Riders crest the whitecaps, flipping and crashing wth the waves, along a beach and through a canyon. New mountians have been build behind McD Super Size. In yet another complete fluke, it gave that end of the Ghetto Fair sort of a Japanese feel. Some climb Japanese mountians for wisdom, others for a fast food coaster. Either way, enlightenment can be achieved. And that is your moment of Zen. Ohm. LCD screens process credit and debit cards for tickets, which are printed on wristbands AND coded for fast pass queing. TPR members get this, while the general public get's regular access wristbands. Season pass holder? Scan it at the same screen. No ticket tearing, etc... It's like a gas pump fast pass for getting in the park. I'll explain it better after I've had more sleep. So the place finally got a front entrance that's one part Seaworld Texas, one part Magic Mountain, and one part accidental (seriously) golden arches, and all in TPR colors. The striped building at the side houses the executive and web offices with great views of the park, and the TPR gift shop and souvenir store below. DVDs, large foam fingers, double deckers, stuffed Lil Robby Robs, Mugsy, toy penguins, Coasters in the Raw, Guy T Koepp lava lights with little Guys floating around going "How excellent, trippy and funky!", yeah it's all here. A better view of the new McDonald's. I call it the mother ship, because it looks like some big red square UFO that has decended from the heavens bearing mutant alien big macs and small fries. Deal went through with SFA (for those of you following my feeble attempt at plausibility) and Ultra Twister trains grace Eeeevil Swat (because it's from a parallel universe, remember?).
  24. ^ Yes! The addiction spreads! Some days, it's a real heartbreaker between Vault Icee and Starbucks at Target. Doing both would make my oh so subtle and low key personality that much more obnoxious. They think I'm annoying now! Ha! Eh, so what if I'm "that guy" on this board. I'm havin fun!
  25. "I will MAKE it legal" - Darth Sidius. Will, those are some great additions. Love all the waterslides! Job well done man.
