  1. ^ Thank you for all the enthusiasm and encouragement. Been rendering PoV's here and there and should have some posted soon as well as the park and support files for download. I was but the middle man. The inspiration and creativity came from a greater source.
  2. Man, I just got back from Waffle House with friends, had some awesome triple chocolate pie, and you have to show off yer damn holiday eats and make me all hungry again! The desserts all look great and give me the urge to bake sugar cookies. Yum!
  3. Hey, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to a great group of people! Hope everybody finds the joy, happiness, and contentment they seek in this crazy journey we call life. My best to you and your loved ones.
  4. The Spider or Octopus or Polyp. The thing just looks cool to me for some reason.
  5. Definately glad you survived as that looked REALLY painful. I'd scream for my mommy too if I'd ridden it. Funny vid and good post. Thanks
  6. Hey thanks. Will post the park file and support files for it soon, probably the next few days. I'm about to drop since it's 4:38 am. The custom sign, your Midwest Trip panel, and your PillowTums panel really made your art booth rock.
  7. As the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end". The same is true for this build due to my computer processor hittings it's limits. This was a bit sooner than expected. There are some things missing that would've truly made TPR-Land complete. A woodie, a kiddie coaster, infamous State Line and a Schwartzkopf coaster would've better honored the spirit and humor of TPR. Sadly, this is where the park falls short. Regardless, the park is built as a tribute to a great site, it's members, and the parks we all love. Please enjoy this gift to all of you at Theme Park Review. And a view from the Tsunami side. PoV's coming soon. A last view of TPR-Land from the Geauga Pass side. Be afraid... Meet cfc's (Chuck's) diabolical henchman, Igor The Mixer! And mix YOU he will! (Special thanks to Chuck) TPR's favorite comic artist has also set up shop in TPR-Land. Stop by and see FLIPDUDE on your way to the TPR Guest House or McDonalds. (Special thanks to Tomi) TPR-Land needed Reliable news coverage, and CoasterNewsDan was just the man for the job. Say hello to him at the news desk on the way into the park (Special thanks to Daniel) Find tranquility and wholeness in the Zen Garden near Tsunami's cobra roll. Carrabba's opened up this week near McDonald's and Kegger's Island. Now that's Italian! Over at the main entrance, the "Gimme Some Candy!!" sculpture had been unwrapped. Nope, not edible, but maybe a statue credit... I've had trouble with the change over. Joe's (ParkTrips) Chuckwagon Restaurant serves up creative contemporary culinary concoctions for adventurous souls. Bench: The Ride lives! A sign for The Bat has been added to the (now officially named) Arrow Train Garden.
  8. He needs a hug.
  9. King Cobra at KI. Always liked the Togo stand-ups.
  10. If there's one thing I love it's dead-pan humor and wit. Tomi, you have both and much much talent. I haven't laughed so hard at a comic, movie, book, etc in a long time. I'm officially a fan today (December 23, 2007). Just Awesome!
  11. Glad there's a couple of us interested in more water park PTRs. Granted, it's difficult what with the rules as to where one might take a camera and whether said camera is water proof or won't get destroyed. Still would enjoy seeing Kalahari and any other waterparks if possible. TwisterII, so you got bit by the same bug, eh? I thought about doing an indoor, but I've got my hands full with other stuff. If you build it, I'd love to see it, as the water park part of RCT3 is really fun. Xxhershey818xX, you picked a winner and I'm looking forward to your expedition. Hope it's a good trip when the time comes.
  12. Doing better today. Grey muscle shirt (heh, like I have any) Green hoodie (an ode to Grizzly River Rampage) Steve and Barry's Bootcut Blue Jeans ($8 jeans? Hell yes!) Keen sport clogs (Bodhi or Yogi?) with a carbon fiber print Yes, I'm a little board and should go do something productive like bills, dishes, laundry, and finish TPR-Land. Will any of this happen tonight? No chance.
  13. That would be sweet! Man, this reminds me of the days living in Centerville and going to KI. Never made it to The Beach, but hope to soon along with Kalahari. Good times, good times...
  14. Hey man, another great TR. And from what I've seen on Roller Coasters in the Raw, Meteor is a cool little coaster.
  15. Great pics all, but you out did yourself on the castle lighting and fireworks. Bravo!
  16. That concept art is a really great find. Well done.
  17. Man, I'm digging these big indoor, all season water parks. That looks awesome. Would love it if they opened Kalahari in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Glad you shared this, because I love a good waterpark. Thanks!
  18. Hey man, Merry Christmas to you as well. Granted, I don't speak German nor do I know you, but the sentiment is still heart-felt. Hope it's a happy holiday for you and your loved ones. Hey, everybody needs a little cheer this time of year, you know?
  19. Glad you cleared that up since I never saw the Jackass stunt and really wasn't sure of what's in egg nog. (triumphantly) I have learned something new! That CAN be arranged, but I'll leave that to CTU, as he could do a better job and hasn't polluted the Random thread as much as I have. (tapping foot and looks at CTU) Well? And Vault Icee porn was born...Just a wee bit o pent up tension there, eh?
  20. PURE and RIP Psyclone, thanks for the pics. Always thought this ride was kind of cool. Anybody know if there's a PoV vid floating around (other than possible YouTube)? Hope MM puts a Deluge or something else cool in it's place.
  21. Isn't there whiskey or rum or something in egg nog that would make it tough to drink even a quart? Yeah, you can't possibly tell how much of a lightweight I am here now can you? The evolution of this thread is hilarious. If we all ever meet in person, I'll take designated driver. You guys can party and drink, I get to drink cokes and kick back, and everybody gets home in one piece, albeit with hazy and random memories. Besides, my jokes are a lot funnier after 2 am and a few. Anyway, cheers to Tyler for a great and humerous thread! EDIT: Just realized this is my 500th post. Oh you poor people....Hey, glad it was in here on a good thread.
  22. Thank you for the early Christmas present Shane. This is just awesome! Diagrams and track layouts. Yeeeeeeee! I am so happy, I do the Dance of Joy!
  23. You know, I have to hand it to Disney for cool transport vehicle themeing. Sure, they could have just "a monorail" Basic, moves you around, forgettable. Oh no. Disney themes theirs with cool things like clever paint jobs, turns them into submarines, makes them go through hotels, etc. I'm so glad Disney had a one-track mind. Train from our 1994 WDW vacation. Went ahead and made an avatar for anyone who'd be interested. And now back to the New Old-Style Trains. Yay!
  24. It's 12:18 am and the other side of the U is mostly done. The red part still needs to go on, but the track is almost done from what I can tell.
  25. ^ From what I've seen, they only work from late at night until about 6 am on Airbender. Seems Spongebob gets the work during the day, while Airbender gets the work at night. Man, I can't believe I'm getting excited about bloody Nick construction. Oy! And yet, I can't stop watching...
