I drove by Cliff's today and looked over at the rattler, only to see the steel track off the wood, and new wood down, I will try to take a picture, but I did not have a camera with me, I rode it last year, and there were a few spots that were starting to get rough, but nothing like alot of coasters I've been on, you know, the ones that hurt Its nice to see Cliff's keeping up thier coaster, as soon as I get pics, I will post them here UPDATE, Got some pics UPDATE, Cliffs has installed three new rides. along with retracking the Rattler, which appears to be completed or very close They removed the Yo-Yo, but got one of those Frisbee rides, they call it the Sidewinder, they also added two new kiddie rides WWW.CLIFS.NET These guys are working on the entire coaster, can't wait till April New wood that has been placed on the first hill after the first drop Looks like they are working hard A trackless first drop Anyone need a job, and I know when they are opening the new sidewinder, will be fun going over the water in one of these

I thinks its pretty obvious why Macs are more stable, there is very limited hardware for the system, and its manufactured exclusively by apple, the makers of the software, it like if Microsoft had complete control of the PC platform, which they don't, hardware wise anyway As for windows Vista, I wouldn't be the first to get it, but I'm certian it will be better than xp, which actually has been a ALOT better than 98/ME, which had some serious fatal flaws, which xp does not have I love macs as well, but like the flexibility of the PC platform, they can just do alot more due to the enormous market share. and no one here fool yourself, no compuer is completely free from problems, my Mother in law uses a mac, and it does freeze on occation, it just happens sometimes. On the Itunes front, our main PC, which has Corina's Itunes stuff will not load Itunes at all, I have no idea what happened, but the computer really nees to be cleaned out anyway, I may just buy a new hard dirve and reinstall xp, but not vista, yet

Nintendo has already won, 3.1 million Wii's, all profitable, thats a win the 360 is also winning, 10+ million units, with microsoft now making a profit on every system sold, and having gears of war sell 3+ million units PS3 is in trouble, I see units in the stores everywhere I go, and its purely due to the lack of intrest in the system. The system main claim to fame, graphics, are not really any better than 360 I predict the Wii and 360 will rule the console market for years to come, Sony fumbled, and they really did it to themselves.

I have a 360, and love it Microsoft said the V2 360 does exist, but is not currently planned for release, it is an internal prototype, the only major diffrence is a 120gb hard drive, but they would make that available for anyone to buy. As for upconverting, I do not own a hdtv yet, but have heard that the 360 DOES upconvert dvd to 720P. you do not need the hd-dvd addon to do this, just a more current system upgrade available online for free when you connect your 360 to the internet, again I do not own a hdtv, so I have not tried this, or pursued it in any way, this is just what I heard. Thats the real reason I shop at walmart no matter where you spend your money, someone who is a complete asshole will get a part of it I'm kinda rooting for the Sears-Kmart team, but the Kmart store here is really dirty, and the walmart is very very nice We also have Targets, which are certainly nice, but it seems I can never go into one with out spending at least $100 before I leave I have no real problem with walmart, if you eat Mcdonalds, use any microsoft product, you have no reason to bash Walmart for how it runs its business Money is the name of the game

I can say I have played a PS3, and I can also say, that it is not any better than a 360 If you have or buy an hdtv, you will not notice a diffrence, in fact, the first round of ps3 games are not as good as the 360, not suprising because 360 is now in the second generation I feel the PS3 is a hype machine, designed to help Sony win the Hd format wars, but there is a huge problem The jump from standard dvd to hd or Blu-Ray DVD is not as drastic as the jump from VHS to DVD DVD's still look good on hd-tv's, and some players can upconvert dvd's to 720p, it doesn't look as good as an hd-dvd, but it still looks nice The problem is, for a format to be successful, it needs to offer great benifits over the previous format, like Cassette to CD, the CD has been around for a long time, 20 years or so, and they have tried to replace or enhance it several times, and it has never worked, why??, CD's sound good enough for the majority of the general public, just as DVD's look good enough for the general public In the end, it appears Microsoft will have a 9 million unit lead after the holidays over sony, and about a 6 million unit lead over Nintendo, most games that were exclusive to Sony, are no longer exclusive, right now the battle is Microsofts to lose, and with thier units in the stores and available, I know who will sell the most this Christmas

I understand and actually agree with the English only rule, which is, as stated before from the PahrumpValley Times But The flag Ordinance is clearly illegal. I also agree that the system DOES pander to the spanish speaking people, there needs to be a way that the people who come here can get assistance learning english, so they can function here I work in a hospital, and even though we provide translators, there can still be delay's and at a trauma faucility that can be a bad situation. Providing services is a very stupid part of this ordinance, I think illegal immigrants are breaking the law, but even I cannot see any reason not to provide basic emergency medical care, that is cold hearted. There is a huge problem with illegal immigration, everyone needs to step back and work together on the problem, not make ordinances that do more to devide than to help solve the problem

I'm not sure I would say the new crop of games for 360 are the same as PS2 games with better visuals, Xbox Live is pretty fun, and really adds to the gaming experience, and the scope and depth of the games are getting larger, I'm somewhat excited about what innovations this new generation will bring Here's my take I already bought a 360, so I consider myself covered for the next gen, and thank GOD I don't have to wait in line or try to get one of these machines I think Sony is WAY overstating the power of the PS3. It may have a better proccesor than the 360, but what matters is the GPU, and when you look at how the systems are set up, power wise its really very close, with the storage advantage going to PS with the Blu-Ray The PS3 is way overpriced, and I agree with another poster here, HD DVD's no matter the format, do look better, but it is not comparable to the jump from VHS to DVD, HDDVD really only offers better resolution for the 20% of the people that currently own HD TV's, I'm not sure a more expensive video format will really be adopted by the masses yet, especially when you can get a dvd player that upconverts dvd images to 720p, and look fantastic, although yes not as good hd-dvd The Wii looks like it would be a ton of fun, expecially in a group setting, nothing like playing Mario Party where you need to flop your arms around and look like a dork in front of your friends, I think the Wii will do well I really think Sony has shot itself in the foot, taking a gaming platform, and trying to use it as a meduim to gain the upperhand in a format war is not the wise move, IMO. I think Blu-Ray will be the next Beta-max, and the regular DVD will stay king. If you have your heart set on a PS3, be patient, and wait a year, the only thing you will get is more systems, more games, and better prices on used games, and the early issues worked out. The Wii I could see picking up right away, while I was hoping for a $199 price point, the fact that it is reasonably priced, has some innovative features, and appears to offer a truely unique gaming experience is really inviting. I do think it will be a bit difficult to get one, but nearly as bad as the PS3. Also look for the Wii to have the fewest problems with thier new machines, I predict the PS3 will have some issues, sorta simular to the 360 early issues, thats what happens when you push the envelope The 360 is the system to get this Christmas, it will be in ample supply, has plenty of games, has its early problems worked out, and has graphics that are still unrivaled by any other system, so far
