  1. And the nieghborhood isn't the greatest either.
  2. Yeah, there will almost definitly be a sequel. And the audio at the end, played backwards says, " Its not dead yet".
  3. If you look closely at the last scene, when the camera is looking at the water, right by the cruise ship, something falls from the sky. There is debate as to if it was the monster, or a satelite from the company Tangruato. Which, if you followed the viral marketing, is the maker of Slush. And after the credits, you here a voice, and playing it back it says, " Its not dead".
  4. I got stuck on the Coney Island Cyclone going up the lift. Apparently one of the top notch ops forgot to lock one of the restrains in place. I also got stuck on the break run on Skull Mountain at Six Flags Great Adventure. We were stuck for about 15 minutes with the lights on in the mountain. It was actually pretty cool
  5. It's not the USA. I was on Mexico's La Montana Rusa (now renamed) several years ago in the front seat. Those of you familiar with that ride before the reprofiling will remember the insanity of the ejector air on nearly every hill.... On the first camelback, my riding partner (a local) and I launched into the buzzbar, which came up and LOCKED in the loading position. Going around the first big turn, we tried with no avail to lower the bar. The local kid was getting pretty pale and I was wondering if either of us would still be in the train after the next set of hills. We both grabbed the bar as tightly as possible and tried to wedge ourselves against the back of the seat with our legs. We survived, and the train pulled into the station, lapbar STILL locked in the loading position. The kid was screaming to the attendant, but I don't speak Spanish, so I have no idea what he was saying. I'm sure it was close to what I was thinking, though. The ride op shrugged. The next group of riders got in, the ride op stomped on the bar release, lowered the bar, and off it went. That was my last ride of any coaster in Mexico. And this is the reason I second guess coasters sometimes. Even the ones in the United States.
  6. Where were his parents? That kid looks pretty young, no older than 14 I would say.
  7. Nice man, the museum is an awesome place to go. Did you visit the Mythical Creatures exhibit?
  8. Nice PTR man. It is so fantastic that you guys live were parks are open all the time. And since I have no money, I can't really travel anywhere during the offseason to ride coasters.
  9. Unless I missed something, I don't think anything came out officially saying that he died of a heart attack.
  10. Awesome tr. I was just talking to my friends about planning a trip to Disney World next summer. This just got me really excited to try and really plan this thing out.
  11. The girl who died on the Air Glory ride didn't die because it was her fault. I would assume they would focus on something like that since it did happen at some kind of traveling carnival, if I'm not mistaken.
  12. I do feel very bad for anyone that dies at an amusement park. But like everyone has said, if they don't follow the rules, than what else can you do. I never ride carnival rides, besides maybe some little one's. The Kentucky Kingdome accident was incredibly horrible, but I find it odd that she is the only one they can mention by name. And yes, the media is full of fear mongers, every story they "report" on is not to inform, but to scare the crap out of you.
  13. Between work and school, and the lack of a bank account, its hard for me to get around in the off season, though I would love to go to California and Florida. I keep myself occupied with hockey, school, and all the other stupid things I have to deal with. But I do start to think about all my trips from the previous season, and other seasons as well, how much fun we all had and all the stupid things that happend. But, that is what comes with living in a cold place during the winter. Lets go Rangers baby!!
  14. I feel bad for her, but come on, what did she think was going to happen standing in a spot she wasn't supposed to be standing in? People have to think sometimes.
  15. Nice history and video. I always like telling people how I became interested in coasters.
  16. I'm too lazy to check, but how fast is 200 km/h in mph?
  17. Nice PTR so far, I'm looking forward to the next part with IOA.
  18. Do you guys take debit cards? Never mind, I just saw, and remembered that I can pay through PayPal.
  19. Awesome ptr man. I'm hoping that I can save enough money for at least a week in Orlando next spring/summer. I really want to get on Expedition Everest, and maybe get to BGA. Again, nice ptr.
  20. I think the key here is that it doesn't look 85 degrees. No one can really tell for sure.
  21. That is just ridiculous. Normal size ferris wheels scare the poo out of me, I could imagine how that one would. But I'm sure the view is fantastic.
  22. Since it's earlier in the year, and the park might be closed if they consider it a private event, than it shouldn't be that bad. But if you don't have to have any kind of membership to any group, the park might not be closed to the public. Again, I don't know, I am just guessing. I would love to attend this though.
  23. Alot of people used Coasterfanatics, it's just so much easier. You can check if your vote was counted yet. www.ushsho.com/processedwoodballots2007.htm
  24. Thanks, I realised that after a minute. And I'm from Brooklyn, NY, and Cyclone is my numero 2.
