  1. Sorry I've been unable to access the site for a couple weeks, but ROFL! FlipDude! You're da MAN! (I'm almost tempted to suggest that you incorporate a donkey somewhere... Perhaps an audition for sumthin?)
  2. God Bets China Drum
  3. Screamscape's latest rumor is Flashback's toast and should be removed soon. Oh, well. Maybe they can get a good price for the steel?
  4. Queue music: Foreigner, "Too Much Time On My Hands"
  5. Obviously I can't guarantee POV, but you can be sure that I will make an HONEST effort. Pictures of the new trains? You bet! Pictures of the new trains in action? Definitely! I've got a few weeks before I can get down there, but it is VERY high on my list of priorities to get my SD2K laps before I leave Japan if it opens before September 30th!
  6. I'm hoping for this: V-supports = dueling coaster I can hope, right?
  7. Zzzzzzzz..... I'm suspecting that you didn't search on this topic, read the posting rules, etc before posting this. Katun, Batman/Diavalo, Orochi, for at least the third time. Last place is Blackout.
  8. ^ Family Guy fan. < Family Guy fan. \/ Family Guy hater.
  9. No! #ell NO! Do you like cheese?
  10. Clam Chowder What is the capital of Nova Scotia?
  11. I have a theory: Based on the EU patent applications drawings, there are two types of Wing Walker trains; one with the seats on top of the wings and the other with invert style seats. Port Aventura's new coaster remains low to the ground and is a launched coaster and is pretty certain to be a Wing Walker design. This new 2007 CP coaster could be a Wing Walker with the other type of train. It's low to the ground, believed to have launch elements and to be a new type of coaster. If this is true, both parks can claim to have a unique / first coaster type and both be correct.
  12. That Zamperla family coaster's train was disassembled and grass growing up through it when I was there last year. Does anybody know if either ride ever reopened? That park was almost frightening so much was broken! (Not quite Fantazy Land, but not much better!)
  13. I just tried a McDonald's Pita Mac. It was really tasty, but really messy. (Pita bread, 'spicy' chicken, tomato, lettuce and some kind of sauce, maybe ranch?) Japanese McDonalds rock!
  14. Er, Dodonpa is rough? I rode it about three weeks ago. It was exactly the same as when I rode it three years ago. Fun, fast and smooth. Some people don't like it, but I don't think it's because of roughness.
  15. When I was at Fuji-Q, Mike Smith mentioned that they didn't have any orders and I think he meant rides AND coasters. They were making new trains for X, but not much else was going on. That's not a good thing for a company this size. EJ's 35 million dollar price tag will be paid out to S&S over three years. In the Russian Screaming Squirrel thread I mentioned that park was unhappy with the ride. Holding out on the payment of it could be a contributing factor. Also, development costs for the Squirrels is hard to recoup if they can't sell them and get paid!
  16. You can easily ride all eleven coasters in Malaysia in 2 days. I did ten of them in about 30 hours last December. If you want a detailed itinerary to get it done, let me know. Otherwise, Hit Berjaya Times Square for Supersonic Oddysee, and if you go to a secon park, Genting Highlands has the most and isn't too far away. Sunway Lagoon is also nice and has a very large waterpark. They are in opposite directions from Kuala Lumpur, though, but I did visit both in the same day!
  17. Woops! Sorry, I knew about this, and I think I passed it to Screamscape a while back. It was a good ride, but I still think PCW's Vortex is the best of the breed. (Eagle Fortress is the only one missing from my 'collection'.)
  18. Glad to see that it's open. The S&S guy I met at Eejanaika had mentioned that the park was unhappy with the ride. Apparently they thought that the ride was bigger or more thrilling, even though they were involved in the design process and had been on the other one.
  19. Yeah, but then you're going to hate me if I get to ride it before I leave!
  20. Joey, you are so right. For example: DelGrosso's just bought a used Arrow corkscrew, how's that? In that market, it's the biggest thing for at least, what 75 or 100 miles?
  21. Well, back from the tour office. SD2K is not open yet, but testing has begun. How's that for a positive development?
  22. I wonder where my car is...
  23. No, a big fan of most of the duck spinoffs: Darkwing, Duckula, etc. Do you believe in ESP?
  24. 52 days and a wake up... 7 coasters to #600... My wife's Visa appointment at the embassy went well...
