  1. Nope, I endured the credit ...... the only credits I missed that day were Taxi Jam (because I am not that much of a whore) and Thunder Run (because it's not a credit)
  2. You serious? I used to love that ride before I went on the other two this year. I need to get back to SFA (all 30 minutes up the rode) and see if this slandering is actually true.
  3. I'm not even sure this is right, but I think 1-Scooby Doo at KD 50-Phoenix at Knoebels 100-Fairly Odd Coaster at Carowinds 150-Vapor Trail at Sesame Place
  4. I skipped that flume because I was cold......but there is NO WAY it was better than Martin's!
  5. It used to go a lot more through the woods too, till XLC and that damn Go-Kart Track came in. Not only did they take trees out of Grizzly's queue, but the Karts now SHARE Grizzly's queue! And last time I was there, Grizzly didn't even have a sign! favorites: Any Batman: The Ride, Volcano with the music and without the graffiti, Flight of Fear, DarKastle, Superman at New England, El Toro, Skull Mountain, Dark Knight, Predator, Lightning Racer, Canada's Scooby Doo, Dragon Mountain, Ninja at SFOG least favorites: Goliath SFOG, anything at Lakemonth because queues don't exist there, Laser, Behemoth, Goliath, Batwing
  6. I posted in this last year, but to add 2008s from what I remember: -Dark Night at Six Flags Great Adventure -Skyflyer at Martin's Fantasy Island -Motocoaster at Darien Lake -Behemoth -Ravine Flyer II
  7. Matt S., did you really not know what ERT was called at 3:09? Oh well, I'm sure you do now! Cool pics and video, its nice to see a different style with a bit more talking and music, but I like all videos. Looking forward for your series of TRs.
  8. 1. Lake Compounce 2. Knoebels 3. Six Flags Great Adventure 4. Kennywood 5. Hersheypark 6. Busch Gardens Europe 7. Six Flags over Georgia 8. Idlewild 9. Canada's Wonderland 10. Dorney Park
  9. LOL, what song did you ride to? I think John called it the "unknown rap song." I couldn't think of anything better to call it. Between that and having to pose for Tony's camera a few times, that ride was a little strange!
  10. ^I don't think you could have picked a worse one than the one I had to endure. John, Tony, me, and a few others got to the ride one cycle too early
  11. And when it started pouring, the cool people on the train were enjoying their second-to-last ride of the night I think. And this ride was easily the most insane coaster ride of my life........can't even try to describe it. The longest queue I saw at Idlewild was for these fries. I was going to wait for them, but feared I would miss the bus. Oh well, Idlewild was easily my favorite park of the trip.
  12. Amazing that I think I did basically the same stuff you did at Waldameer and I hated it. It had some good rides, but it felt like a dirty and old park, not well kept at all (as far as cleanliness). Definitely agree with that though. I called Idlewild a kiddie Knoebels, and was actually my favorite of the trip!
  13. Definitely agree....don't know what it was, but the Seabreeze one rocked. I only lasted through about 5 minutes of the show. Wonder what I missed..........
  14. Don't know how you had energy by the time we got to Marineland to go all those places. I had time for three rides, lots of photo taking, and the best fries in Canada. But I never got to the whales, the falls, the deer, Tim Horton's, etc.
  15. Sweet, another Dash fan. Just wait for Phoenix though......
  16. Wow, this report is really bringing back some great times! Thanks for posting. Those Ninjas flying around on that Martin's video look very scary.
  17. It's not a huge deal for me..........there are plenty of other coaster sites that aren't blocked, but it was so nice having TPR until now. I just put this out there for people like Pete4Winds who are even more pissed off. We think NMCI stands for Non Mission Capable Infrastructure
  18. Thought I may bring this to some people's attention. So throughout the summer, I have been working for the Navy, and have had access to Navy Marine Corps Intranet. Throughout the day (on my breaks of course ) I have enjoyed reading TPR to keep me sane at work. Well, after getting back from the Behemoth trip, every time I try to access Theme Park Review, I get a Forbidden message! I know NMCI has cracked down on stuff in the past like personal email sites, and video sites, but what in the world did TPR ever do to join the ranks of this exclusive club?? Any other government employees noticed this?
  19. Finally I went some places: -Great Adventure (twice) -Six Flags New England -Lake Compounce -Rye Playland -Carowinds -Six Flags over Georgia -Seabreeze -Darien Lake -Martin's Fantasy Island -Canada's Wonderland -Marineland -Waldameer -Idlewild -Lakemont -Delgrosso's -Sesame Place So 16 parks, and I had never been to any of those before 2008!
  20. Wow, you must feel privileged. Most of our mere gnome supermarkets aren't so lucky!
  21. Yup, Martins was a great time. I was having a good time on the trip, and that night ERT session made me feel like forgetting the rest of my life and selling my soul to TPR. I will admit that Waldameer ERT did beat it out, but Martin's was still awesome.
  22. I thought that spinner was the best of the trip, and my first MS as well. That video was great, it made me miss the trip so much
  23. Were you in the first or second wave for the Behemoth walkback? I think you must have been in the first, because we were never told we were "too close". In fact, it was impossible to get too close.
  24. When the humidity is not 124% in August in Maryland, I bet a lot of people go to SFA. I'm just praying they survived their hotel night in Capitol Heights.
  25. Don't worry, they feed 150,000 people every spegetti night without us. This TR rocks by the way. Jason, you seemed to do a bit different stuff most people did at the parks. At least I know I didn't go into any carousel museums, or study the 1959 world's fair. It's really cool that you are posting this stuff, because I had no idea about a lot of these things, even after going to all these parks!
