German convicted of stealing buffet for 60 people

^The only compensation for stolen food would probably be money. -
Columbus Day isn't celebrated in Florida. Unless you work for a bank, a city facility (like garbage collection), or a government facility (like the U.S. Post Office), you don't get the day off. I don't think I ever got the day off in college.

I din't have too much Vista experience, but the Windows Aero interface is just a neat way to see your icons and desktop. It gives you a 3-D window that you can move all around. I don't see any use for it other than to go "ohh, ahh!"

I took the Howl-O-Scream guided tour. It wasn't anything special, but it felt like I was being herded around like cattle. The guides didn't really tell us where we were going or anything about the attractions we were experiencing. I haven't taken a day guided tour yet. Personally, I wouldn't be too interested in a BGA guided tour. I'd just prefer arriving at park opening and hitting the coasters before the huge crowds arrive.

What's worse: this TV show or making movies based on SNL sketches?

How can you ban an entire corporation? I think it's silly to ban McDonald's. People should have the freedom to choose where they eat. If you don't want to eat McDonald's, don't go there. There's plenty of food options available.

^That sounds like what was on the lunchroom menu when I was in high school.

Cornholing coming to GL!

OK, everyone stop giggling when you say "Cornhole." -
If your computer about 1-2 years old, you'll probably have a Recovery Wizard on your hard drive. The Recovery Wizard will reinstall your OS and the original, factory installed software. Remember to back up data before running the recovery. I would check your computer's welcome mat or manual for more information, as different computer manufacturers may call the Recovery Wizard something different.

Being Pregnant Is the Newest Fashion In London?
BarryH replied to GMAN962's topic in Random, Random, Random
What ever happened to waiting until you're older to have a baby? I don't understand who at 14 years old would want a baby. You're still in school and your body is still developing. Her parents will probably end up taking care of the baby too. -
It was OK until Rocker_Dude posted. How juvenile is that? Thanks to everyone else who posted birthday wishes (I think ).

I thought I had retired the caption game? Boy, I had a good day yesterday and it was probably the best birthday I've ever had. Then I read this and it was a downer.

Show some love to TPR and weat the UK trip shirt. Otherwise, wear a homemade shirt that says, "I watched the Price is Right since I was 3 years old!"

The amount of megapixels in a camera makes it easier when you blow up the photos. A 1 megapixel photo may be good for putting on websites, but if you blow it up to a 8x10, then you'll get pixelization. I have a Sony DSCP93 camera that is 5 megapixels and my picture qualities are always good. I've seen the Sony DSCW55 priced around $200 and it has about 7 megapixels. As people have mentioned previously, the most expensive camera or the highest end camera won't make you a better photographer. The person behind the camera makes you a good photographer. Even if you have a 10 MP camera, if you put your finger in front of the lens or take out of focus pictures, they're crap regardless of what camera you use. People won't think, "Hey, this is the best picture because it was taken with a $500 camera," but "What a terrible photo!" If you do buy a camera, take lots of practice photos to get used to the camera. Take stuff around the house, in the neighborhood, etc. and don't be afraid to try out the camera features.

Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread

I thought there was a small Africa area in the big space in World Showcase where they sell drinks and snacks?
