Elissa should have sent out smoke signals when they picked a name, much like what happened when they picked a new pope.

The McDonald's at DLP called a Quarter Pounder a Royale with Cheese. Quentin Tarantino was right! -
The ride was indeed WTF? I was waiting for something to happen whent he ride stopped, but I only saw the same darkeness that I saw before. I seem to recall a strange odor in the X:\No Way Out building during the TPR UK trip. It wasn't me, though.

^Actually, Dan, not R&E, get the e-mails. I think Dan gets hundreds of e-mails when the "E-Mail Dan" thing appears.

If I didn't need to Double Loop credit, I probably wouldn't consider visit Geauga Lake. -
On the Hulk, I once saw a guy who had one of those 3 foot stuffed dogs that he won at the pitch and skill games. He actually brought it on board and put it by his feet. The Team Member took it away and hid it behind the console. The things people take on rides!

I looked at Vista. Aside from a few security additions, it didn't impress me much. I probably won't get it for another year or until I buy a new computer with it preinstalled.

Now the mystery is where Steel Venom is headed. We can say Valleyfair won't be getting it. So what does this mean for Geauga Lake's future? -
Universal Studios Orlando's Mardi Gras
BarryH replied to re_upcrazy78's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Try not to stand at the end of the parade route. Sometimes, the bead throwers on the floats will run out of beads. The riders are only allowed a certain number of beads and when they run out, you don't get anymore. Some overzealots bead throwers throw out too many beads and run out mid-parade. The best place to stand (if you can get it) is in the San Francisco area by the water (around Lombard's Landing). Right across the way is a small elevated area. If you can snag that area, you are in a good position to get a lot of beads. The Mardi Gras parade only runs on Saturdays during Mardi Gras. The ride queues close at the park closing time and then the parade runs. If you're in the queue before closing, you still get to ride. During the day, you might see a mini-Mardi Gras parade with the Blues Brothers car, the Mystery Machine, the Toon Trolley, and some of the smaller vehicles you see around Universal.
