But I think... Living in Florida > Working for EA
  3. Great LV photos! How bad/good was Desperado?

    Moving?

^^You can move back to Florida! EA has an office outside of Orlando! It's calling Robb!
  5. I went on opening day when TTD first opened. TTD had a 4 hour line right at opening. I was one of the first to ride during their charity event. The rest of the coasters had less than a 15 minute wait for the first few hours of park opening. I assume on opening day, most people will run to Maverick first.
  6. Great photos! I want to try the Crown Colony House one day.
  7. $7000 for a sign? It doesn't look like it costs more than $700! ACE membership dollars at work!
  8. ^Dear God, the next thing you know, they'll be taking the loop out of SOB and moving X-Flight to Kings Island. What, they did? Aw, crap!
  9. I'm afraid to ask what Robb was doing in the front. Great photos!
  10. Maybe you should have went to MK instead.
  11. I went to Carowinds on an April on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. The longest wait was an hour for Borg Assimilator, but that was because it broke down. The waits for the other rides were around 5-10 minutes. I drove from Washington DC to PKD once and I believe it took me a bit over 3 hours.
  12. Great PTR so far. What did you think of the Grand Californian?
  13. Great TR! I can't wait to ride this in September!
  14. I wonder if we should all get Elissa McDonald's Arch Cards.
  15. Happy birthday to you You live in a zoo You smell like a monkey And you look like one too!
  16. "Knott's Great America"....will it too close when one drop of rain falls from the sky? I think Great America sounds fine to me. Don't fix what ain't broke!
  17. DVC is pretty much Disney's version of timeshare. I avoid timeshares like no one's business! I can usually vacation cheaper and have more flexibility using hotel discounts through AAA, Priceline, or Hotwire.
  18. I don't like to recommend doing both Universal parks in one day, but it can be done. You'll have to miss a lot, though. I usually recommend 3 days for Universal (if this is your first visit): 1 for USF, 1 for IOA, and 1 to see your favorites or stuff you missed. Personally, I like Universal slightly more than Disney, but I don't feel a traitor if I visit one over the other. Heck, during my last trip, I went to the Pirates and Princesses Party at the Magic Kingdom, Discovery Cove, Crique de Soleli, Sea World, and Old Town. I didn't feel guilty or traitorous in visiting parks owned by different companies.
  19. ^Scheduled downtimes and refurbishment schedules are now on Universal Orlando's website under "Park Hours." Here's the link: http://www.universalorlando.com/calendar.html?calendar=uo_park_hours&template=uo_park_hours.html
  20. It's official...Back to the Future at USF is closing forever on March 30. Take a look here: http://www.universalorlando.com/usf_attr_bttf.html
  21. Wow, 6 wives and six kids! That's a lot of mouths to feed. How do you keep up with six wives? I think it's hard enough to keep up with one!
  22. I rode the Haunted Mansion during the Pirates and Princesses Party and it looked pretty bad! I don't remember seeing Leota's head on at all. The graveyard dude didn't move at all. The Haunted Mansion needs some TLC. A lot of Tomorrowland needed some TLC too.
  23. Gwarzi? Is that the roller coaster based on the band Gwar? Beavis and Butthead will love Gwarzi for sure! Can we see at least one of your 400 photos?
  24. Great photos! Where do I sign up for a date with Jahan?
  25. I still can't figure out why SFMM's Revolution is an ACE Coaster Landmark. My head banged on the OTSRs that my ears were sore!
