Since they are closing next week and I am going to Holiday World next Sunday. I made the trek up to Monticello. Drove through some heavy rain on the way there, but never used the winshield wipers (rain x), and was worried about the weather up there. Got up there and it was cloudy. First ride of the day. The What the heck just happened coaster, Lost Coaster. It wasn't as rough as I thought it was going to be, but it was def. different. Then made my way to the back of the park towards Double shot. Started to cloud up so I started doing indoor stuff, actually, did the bumper cars and it cleared up. Ended up doing most everything I hadn't done yet except thunder bobs and the himalaya (I don't like those much). Did do a falling star for the first time, they were fun. The water shows were done for the year. The Chance Chaos was having the ride buckets removed last time I was there. Now the area is a smoking area. I spoke to a couple people and comfirmed that there will be a new ride and not another Chaos. Onto the pics. I have other pics from before if anyone wants to see them. I personally like Cornball out of all the coasters at IB. Hurricane is a blowing. I had both coasters on the lifts but didn't have my camera ready and didn't want to wait for however long it took to happen again. I like this shot. Log flume, not through coaster as I had last time. Double shot tower goodness. I have a video of it. New ride for next year area. Aquatrax (there said it) Fishes, they went crazy with the popcorn. Cedar Fair Theming.

Powerball is up to 300 million. What would you do if you won it? I am torn between building a theme park in my hometown or buying a couple homes (one in Indiana and one in either Hawaii or Florida) and enjoyng life.

lazy rivers used to be one of my things to do. Then I lost my chicken status and started riding the slides and stuff. I can't wait to try the torrent river at Schlitterbahn sometime though. I wish Bahari "in action" river was something like it. -

Gravity Group. Bullit looks awesome as does Hades, and Voyage owns all (in my mind) -
That back pack looks Casey size.

Voyage/Thanksgiving Area. Before Voyage, Thanksgiving was nothing, not even a section. When they added Voyage, they added Thanksgiving. The first year it was just Voyage and Gobbler Getaway. Then they added the game in the center of the walkway, Turkey Whirl, and Plymouth Rock Cafe This year. As for the gates, I have seen people open them and go that way, but only once. Back seat on Voyage is my favorite too. Will's vision is to make Thanksgiving the center of the park. This is actually Lake Rudolph. IT is pretty nice for a campground. I camped there during HWN this last may in the section you had a pic of. Waking up and Going to Bed with the sound of coasters running is nice. I also stayed in one of thier rental rv's, I learned from that if I ever get a RV don't go cheap on mattresses because the ones they had were hard as a brick. They also cabin's for rent. A couple pools also. Plus if you stay there it is a short walking distance to the park or the free shuttle provided. EDIT: This is what Thanksgiving looked like before Voyage. -

The two water tower explanation. The non rounder looking one is the old one, it used to supply water to the town and holiday world. A year or two back, HW added thier own water tower just for them. http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2005_04_10_archive.html -
Thunder run, good? That thing, along with t2, had my back hurting for days. As for Holiday World. The 24 seconds of airtime was before the pretrimmed state, so there is less now. I have ridden Voyage and had more than 24 seconds of airtime, but I only sit in backseat (almost all the time). And Voyage has never hurt, even in the 5 ert runs during HWN. Well, I did have a owe moment, right around the photo place, that part hurt if I didn't brace.
