  1. That last one made me laugh. That thing looks 300+ feet tall
  2. Im gonna have to go with SFFT's. I haven't been since they still had Joker's Jinx, but the train still went through Rattler and the query
  3. I played the demos years ago, but my subscription ran out and I lack the means to buy anything online. 'Twas a good coaster sim though. I liked it much better than my NoLimits trial.

Eh. I mostly just play at home. I have Extreme, Max, and Max2, plus an arcade style metal pad
  5. Congo Falls because it has airtime. Aside from that, I want to say Dudley, but I never rode the whole thing (ride got stopped near the end and I was evacuated)

    whats next

Yeah. They announced awhile ago that one of the trips would be Midwest. Hopefully R&E will release the details soon, since Robb promised to do it sometime in August Jared "Will make it to that Midwest trip or die trying" Becker
  7. If we're talking about places we've been, Cyclops at Mt Olympus. Best coaster I've ever ridden hands down. (And I litterally mean hands down. You almost have to white knuckle this thing to stay in your seat.) As for places I'd like to go, Either Balder or SFGAdv. Six Flags is shaping up, and I want to see if Balder really does top Cyclops.
  8. ZOMBIE ACEr!!! That pretty nice to see that historical segment, and the other parts were pretty funny..
  9. Cyclops at Mt. Olympus, one week ago.
  10. I count the travelling models if they aren't powered. That being said, I have yet to ride a powered one, but I probabbly wouldn't count it...But yeah *points at sig* I'll ride them if they're there. Otherwise, no big deal if I miss it...
  11. TTD. I haven't had the pleasure of going to SFGAdv, but I'm sure that extra 8mph or so won't effect me too much more than the origional 400 footer. That being said, my inital reaction to Dragster's launch on my first ride was about: OMG IM GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!3577^%&!Q.
  12. To me, steel coasters are very gimmicy. They may have inversions, or insane heights, but who cares? After you've done enough inversions, each one seems the same. Woodies on the other hand are all unique. Never the same sensation twice. Who cares if it hurts a bit? Arent rollercoasters supposed to be wild? If that's the case, then walking away from a smooth steel ride is like saying that the coaster hasn't done it's job. Plus, Cyclops is a woodie. I rest my case. Jared "I'd ride Cyclops over most steel coasters any day"Becker
  13. In no particular order: 1] Wild Mouse. Not only are the hairpins a great concept, but mice have a small footprint (thus allowing easy placement in parks.) Aside from that, mice have recently blossemed into countless subdivisions, providing new variations and experiences... 2] Cyclops. Easily my favorite coaster ever. This thing is filled with devine airtime, and plenty of twists....I haven't ridden Balder yet, but I have a feeling I'd still enjoy Cyclops more. 3]S&S Towers. I know Intamin ones are nice, but getting shot up almost defines airtime. 4] Chaos. Spinny+Flippy+a name like Chaos=Wii! 5] StormRunner. To me, this is a significant ride, because it showed that Accelorators could do more than go up a really tall hill. Also, placement is great, and the ride itself pwns. 6] King Cobra. I dont care if its a TOGO death machine, this thing's elements flowed like an Anton. It was a perfect mix of air, spins, a loop, and even some variation of a flyby.... 7]Logflumes: Although watercoasters are taking their place, I feel flumes are better. I think of them as wet bobsled coasters that go really slow 8] Homemade rides. It takes guts to follow your dreams and actually construct an amusement ride. For that alone, I respect them. 9] Shooting dark rides. Because any ride that lets you kill things is alright in my book. 10] Twisted Twins. Yet another precurser to a great era. I love dueling coasters, and this was the baby to bring them into existance.
  14. Awesome! I'll definately try to convince the folks to let me go!

Across the nightmare. I can't pass it on heavy yet, but I still love the song...
  16. That explains things. Which direction? I can probabbly hit if its within an hour of Madison. Otherwise, the family might not let me drive that far...But still, that old school mouse looks pretty fun
  17. Suprisingly, I hardly feel any air on Hades, just a little bit of ejector here and there. I say go on Zues or Cyclops if your looking for airtime..
  18. Cyclops, back car. I rest my case As far as intensity goes, combining some forceful ejector air with a quick turn essentially defines pleasure imo. Cyclops does it TWICE, and every other hill is filled with nice twisted airtime aswell..
  19. As for AE, I think it isnt the lift that kills it, but the fact that there is so much potential...It easily has more than enough room for a medium drop, or a quick helix (come off the turn, twist the other way, and go down then back up into the brake run...) And to add/revise my best/worst list.... Best: *Cyclops: Insane air hill #2, (#1 is the first drop), followed by one last pop of twisted air. Also, technically a station flyby *Zues: Double down to double up, to another double up around Hades. All with nice airtime. *Hades: I know someone said this was a "bad", but think about it. The ending consists of a hilly figure 8 that FLYS by the station/que, and eventually leads up into a forceful helix into the brakes. *StormRunner: I don't care what the breaks did to it, any ride that ends in forceful, uphill tricktrack is okay in my books. *FoF: A nice corky that sometimes leaves you seeing sideways. Worst: *Vortex (KI): Helix doesn't do it justice. *Cyclops: The ride ends *AE: Like I said, so much potential, so little used. What are those dudes telling us to beware, the brake run?
  20. That's pretty much what I just said, minus Volcano (Since I've yet to ride it). But I havent gone on that yet, so my launching intense moment goest to TTD. StormRunner has a better ride in general, but TTD's launch is just insane..
  21. ^Ditto. I'm not much for non-coastering, but the Ducks were great! I've been looking through an attraction guide that I nabbed from a Wisconsin hotel, and everything looks sweet in some way. One thing that fascinated me was that "Wonder Spot" thing. I'm sure it has a fake history etc, but defying gravity is pretty badarse, and that nobody here can deny... If you're into animals, I recomend Aligator Ally in Extreme World (which is right across the street from Mt. Olympus.) Lots of cool gators, snakes, and turtles there....
  22. Im supprised no one has mentioned the underground portion of Hades yet. I mean, PITCH BLACK NINETY DEGREES! Also, it throws you around alot, and there is some airtime during your stay in darkness. Aside from that... *Cyclops: INSANE AIR the whole way through, but especially on the first and last major drops (where you almost fall out of the train itself.) *Beast: Helix, need I go on?
  23. Exactly where IS Little-America? Its not anywhere in the Dells book I have, and I couldn't find it when I went there...
  24. Does anyone know of a Coney Island (Ohio) unofficial site?
  25. Either: "Mt. Olympus fanatic", or "I heart Cyclops" Thanks
