I actually saw them test it at the end of the day when I went up there at the beggining of the month. I agree that it isnt really a coaster, but it still looks like fun.

Looks really nice. A great coaster that proves that you can have a simple out and back that still thrills. Anyways, you still havent answered my question about what expansions you need for this...

Parking's only $6 now, so it really isnt that bad a deal. Especially when you take into account that CIC is more than just an amusement park. Theres also all those sports courts and such that are free of charge. Also, unless they changed this since when I learned the rules last year, I believe that you dont need a wristband to ride the paddleboats. As for KI, there are a few good things there. I personally enjoy the Vekoma flyer more than B&M's, so FireHawk is a plus for my. Vortex as I've mentioned many times is a great coaster if you sit in back, and FoF and IJ:ST are both fun launched coasters albeit not spectacular.

On that second day, you should have dropped by Coney Island. Decent ride selection, much better dodgems then KI, and a new credit aswell. Plus I could have met you since I work there Anyways, good TR so far, though I'm suprised you found Vortex rough. If you sit near the rear of the train, its still pretty smooth and filled with airtime.

Looks nice so far, and as a Mac user I love the sound of 0 custom scenery. What expansions are you using?

I'm just glad that I decided against going there today, like I was halfway planning to. WHo knows, that could have been ME. I feel very sorry for the unfortunate victim. What I want to know is how often the cables are replace on that sort of tower, as that seems to be the problem.

About 5 hours, depending on how fast or slow you go. Mapquest says 4 hours, and We made it in a little over 4, even with the insane traffic in Pittsburgh. -James Dillaman Yeah, it all depends on what kind of driver you are. My cousin lives in Cincinnati, so he goes back and forth pretty often, he says it's about 4 hours for him, but he doesn't stop, or if he does, it's very brief. When I went with my parents back in September for a UC Bearcats game, it took about 5 hours to our hotel. But we passed KI and were still on the road for a good 45 minutes before we got to our hotel, so yeah, I'd say about 4 hours. And I'm the kind of guy to hit the 4 hour mark instead, so its all good *wonders how much faster he can get to CP then when parents were driving* Anyways, great shots of IB. I should really go there sometime, since I'm always driving by en route to Chicago.

Great job so far for a first time park. I like your choice in not as well known rides (Pax Shuttle), and those rock slides look sweet. As for your construction shots, boo? I like those double-down giant flumes, but since you kept some track I'm betting that a water-coaster is coming...

Let me start out by saying ITS ABOUT FRIGGEN TIME! Judging by the history of the ride, it deserves alot more than just that ACE landmark award. Still a bit rough, but Racer/Recar is still a fun ride that I love to hit everytime I make a trip up to KI (which is starting to become a weekly thursday thing for me if anyone ever wants to meet up.) ^Only because he probablly couldnt fit any more custom scenary in. Besides, thats an old RCT1 trick. So, is there any special twisty bits to your hyper, or is it straight out and back?

Seriously? Boo! Hopefully they can get it back up and running by next month, if at all. I finally get to go up there and it's down? And what will the GP think? 3 of their coasters just got removed from the park in the last year.

Thanks for taking notice in the interest of the gp (or rather TPR freaks here), Jake! I have been to SFKK a few years ago, and it was a decent park. Chang is a great ride, and I will give the park props for having the world's first dueling woodie and a shuttle loop, plus a great wild mouse. As for the general park, I have one major suggestion. Basically add more shaded areas, and a few more bathroom/water fountain points in the park. Especially on a hot day, this makes all the difference. Hopefully I'll stop by sometime this year and take a spin on deluge. I need to go back and ride Penguin anyways, so I might aswell go when I'm off work. -Jared

You didn't stop by Firehawk? I was actually there that day, since I was off work and didnt feel like driving all the way up to GL only to grab a few credits and drive back (8 hours of driving...) I agree though, the park was empty. Even Firehawk only had a half hour wait. The only thing I didnt hit was FoF, only because all the switches in the queu were full... Anyways, glad you had fun and found that pass. Next time your in town, remember to stop by Coney Island and say hi. I've been getting the coaster and dodgems alot this year

Does Hershey still have their Chaos? I remember there was on right by Wildcat and Wild Mouse...

Well ofcourse they cant get their coaster...Kings Island is already getting a rocket next year.
