  1. See if you can end it in Cincinnati. You can pop by Kings Island, and if you have time, make sure to see me at Coney Island. Its a nice small classic park with a credit.
  2. My only real milestone right now: #100-Top Gun at Carowinds
  3. First off, GH3 ftw Anyways, theres one thing I noticed on your B&M. That S-Bend after the batwing is WAY too fast. Either bank it, or add some transitory element in there...
  4. When you record a video, the frame rate slows down. Is that what your talking about?
  5. This thing looks sweet! Is there any chance you could make a pov of it?
  6. The ride makes more sence now that it launches into the batwing, but the immediate brake still looks awkward after that hill...
  7. Actually, isnt that about the time they started making those bs steels that kept on killing people? You know, with the circular loops and such.
  8. Hershey AND Taco Bell? Your park's making me hungry now I can't wait to see the new boardwalk.
  9. Layout looks short but fun. Maybe you could rebuild it a bit to have an inclined loop after the heart or something.
  10. Same here! I actually believed this was the real thing until they started mentioning the mule riding
  11. I lost hope in that when they put in Tomb Raider...Maybe they can rename it adventureville or something to the like? If you think about it, Beast is a trip to the unknown like Fury will be. TR:TR was an adventure ride when the effects worked, and the train....is a train.
  12. That next gen flyer looks a bit unpractical, but I tend to favor Vekoma's over the other guys.
  13. Fury? I like the sound of that. It would look nice with a red/black scheme methinks.
  14. Silverstreek? BTW, once you get that in an actual park, make sure to put a tunnel around that gap between the first drop and the overvank.
  15. MUCH better. I love it.
  16. 2 things: 1: Lift is ugly. Either keep it all steep, or all 45*. 2: That mega-helix is unrealistic. I'd replace it with some sort of hill into a figure 8 turn around or something. Otherwise, not bad for your first.
  17. Boo! These things are sort of fun, but ever since Delerium at KI, I've refused to ride one of these monstrosities ever again....*continues to mourn over King Cobra's death*
  18. *points at sig* I personally LOVE if they got something similar to MM, albeit longer. That was my one complaint of the ride. MM has fantastic theming, the ride's full of suprises, and of course the past-verts are bliss, not to mention that finale.... IMO, Gerstlauer makes great rides, and are a nice improvement from riding a bunch of BM or Intamins...(though I am an Intamin lover aswell)
  19. Well, its official: no Diamondback Oh well, layout looks pretty cool, so I guess I'm satisfied for now.
  20. I actually like Bull. I rate it up in my top 10 for steels.
  21. Wait a second...I just remembered I HAVE been on Raging Bull. Scratch all my anti-BM hyper posts from pages back. If this is anything like Bull I'll be happy, though I'd prefer a twister to an out-and-back.
  22. Awww, that rendering REALLY killed my Diamondback theory. I immmagined the ride taking place over swan lake and the woods. Oh well, ride looks like it could be fun, but I still stand by my statement that this is more of the same. Give it a verticle first drop or floorless trains or something, and I'll be happy. Edit: Just had a stupid thought that would make me happy, and would actually be smart. Rip out SoB to help fund this thing, and name it Revenge of the Beast, or something like that.
  23. 1. Top Gun (Carowinds) 2. DD Fire 3. Raptor 4. DD Ice
  24. Top Gun made it to my 5 because it was one of the highlights of my Carowinds journey, and it was my 100th credit. I gave it credit mostly for that. Now, I'm not saying I'm anti-B&M. Just that I highly prefer Intamin to them. This is how I think of it: Arrow: Good coasters, but they get a bit rough...Tenessee Tornado was actually pretty good! Vekoma: Painful, but their flyers are MUCH better than B&M's. B&M: Inverts are their strongpoint from what I've gone on, though I havent ridden a hyper, dive machine, or Floorless yet. B&M's are reliable, but a bit rough and forceless for the most part, but their are exceptions. Intamin: Unreliable, but FUN! Once their bugs are worked out, they tend to become key attractions. Woodies: A completely different catagory. Their susposed to be rough and filled with twists and airtime in my oppinion. Getting back on subject, I'm not saying that SoB counts as a Hyper. I'm saying that KI's 2 claims to fame are the world's longest, tallest, and fastest wooden coasters (SoB and Beast respectively). Making a next gen hyper that combines those aspects kind of belittles KI's legends and thus would kill off some publicity. Thus, more of the same. I say we should get something "new" that we dont have anything of, like a Gestuler (can never spell that) or some speciallty coaster like a floorless or a verticle coaster.
  25. *sighs* You guys aren't really getting my point, are you? Regaurdless of quality, we already have the propossed coaster in the form of the park's 2 key attractions. Combining them into a next gen ride will kill the legacy of Kings Island's "legendary" coasters. I'm all for a B&M. I just dont think a hyper would be the right kind, and I'd prefer an Intamin hyper to one of B&M's....
