Post What Halloween Event You've Been To!
nay replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've been to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom, as well as Luna Park in Coney Island, and the Nightmare: Superstitions haunted house in NYC. I'm going to another haunted house in NYC, Blood Manor, this week, and the events at Universal Hollywood, Disneyland, and possibly Knott's over Halloween weekend. I just love this time of year!! HHN at Universal Orlando. MNSSHP at the Magic Kingdom. -
That was such an awesome day! Thanks for posting the photos - As always, they look amazing.

Knott's Halloween Haunt Enthusiast Event Update!
nay replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just catching up on some old posts from last week and just wanted to comment that it looks like you guys had a blast at this event! Being a scare actor seems like so much fun and you all looked great! I'm hoping to make it to Haunt for my first time later this month. -
Congrats on your PR at the Wine and Dine half! I thought it was a pretty fun race. We did the relay option, so I did the last 8 miles of the course. I also did the Halloween 5k in the morning, and by the time I finished, it was around 12:30am so I was super exhausted. It was way to crowded to enjoy anything at the after party, so we didn't stick around for that. But it would definitely be a race that I would consider doing again. I'll try and get a photo TR up from it soon!

Agreed! "SHOTS!" But really, I think my favorite will always be "I'm shy!" -

Ahhhh, this is making me so excited for the Japan trip next year! Great photos - Tokyo Disney looks amazing for Halloween! -
These updates are amazing and I'm so jealous of you all. Reflections of Piers needs to be a series. Robb, thanks for taking the time to post these!

I *love* Chess! I saw Judy Kuhn most recently in the revival of Les Miz as Fantine, but don't know what she's done since then.

Movieland Studios was so crazy and so much fun! Though I think U-571 scarred me for life. -
Nice TR. Typhoon Lagoon rocks! Now that I have the water parks on my pass, I really need to get back there. And I love their mini donuts! Can't wait to see the shark reef.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

California Screamin' at DCA on Wednesday. Still one of my favorites, and I'm glad the train had music, unlike my 2 previous rides that trip. -

Great photos! This makes me even more excited for the trip next year!! -
Yup, I'm in for the Goofy Challenge in January once again. I spend way too much money on Disney and their races, but I just can't help it! The Disneyland half last weekend was great, of course. I ran at a much slower pace than I'm used to, and I think that made my legs hurt more afterwards. But I actually started up running again while I was still there, and I'm already back to normal. I have another set of Disney races in a few weeks - the Halloween 5k and Wine and Dine half marathon at WDW. Both are in the same day, one in the morning and one at night. So that should be interesting! And I signed up for the Philadelphia full marathon in November. Couldn't do the Space Coast one like I wanted to, since it's Thanksgiving weekend and one of the few times of year that my whole family is together.

I can't wait to look for Miss Trunchbull the next time I visit Dollywood. I'm canceling all of my plans for the weekend to wait for the next installment of this TR.

I freaking love Modern Family! After just watching the most recent season of Dexter, I really wish Michael C. Hall would have won, but then again, I've never seen an episode of Breaking Bad. As for the overall awards show, I enjoyed the first half but lost interest about halfway through. Sometimes I find Jimmy Fallon to be really irritating, but he was a mostly decent host. The opening segment was cute!

Congrats! Drowsy Chaperone is such a fun show, and that role is my favorite!

Have you done the Space Coast Marathon before? I'm looking to do a full marathon in November or December, since I got shut out of NYC again. Though right now I'm leaning towards doing the Philly marathon. I haven't been able to keep up with a regular running schedule as much as I'd like to. I'm almost back to running daily, but just haven't made time to get those long training runs in on the weekend. With the Disneyland half marathon almost a week away, I really can't judge how I'm going to do with that, but I mainly just have fun with the Disney races anyway. Plus I got an email today saying that I get a special bib and lanyard for doing the race 5 years in a row, woohoo!! I signed up for 2 more Disney races this week, too - The Halloween 5k in October and the Family 5k during the marathon weekend in January.

Elissa's Thoughts on the UK and Europe Trips!
nay replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks, Elissa - It's been interesting to read this thread! The German fair day was seriously one of my favorite parts of the trip. I also thought the food throughout the trip was outstanding, and I really appreciate the fact that there were many vegetarian options. I hope all goes well with the trips this month! Have fun, and thanks again!! -
Euro-Mir! Great photos, Davon! I don't even remember seeing some of those rides at the German fair, and I swear I only had one beer!
