I never realized it was an American album. I just assumed both countries had them.

Taking things on rides
Scaparri replied to calcajun's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Cedar Point was insane this year! I felt bad making people go pay for a locker to stash away some of the stuff they had. Some things were obnoxiously big and obviously couldn't go on the ride, but some things that we HAD to catch (like small stuffed animals) I thought was just a little over the edge. -
CONFESSION UPDATE: Not only do I own a Robbie Williams album, but it's an album that not even TPR's own self-proclaimed Robbie Williams obsessor owns. :? lol

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Scaparri replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The front row of Greased Lightnin' at SFKK all by myself 'cause Julie (USRoadTripper) blew me off! Haha, just jokin' Julie (how about that alliteration?). -

Uhh, no reason. No reason at all. How many guys do you know walking around with 6 year old Robbie WIlliams albums?
-
Hahaha, why does this not surprise me? I'm not going to lie, I bought a Robbie Williams album back in the day. Maybe I should post that in the confession thread?

Kermit the Frog Turns 50
Scaparri replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was always a bigger fan of Fozzie Bear, but I do a mean impression of Kermit. Whatever happened to good kids shows on tv like the Muppets? Those were the days. No disrespect to Spongebob. Anybody else wanting to watch Weezer's "Keep Fishing" music video now? -
^I have no idea who she is but one of my favorite artists has been touring with her and I have no idea why. My top celebs that I hate the most: Britney Spears- "I don't understand why people think I'm a slut" Terrell Owens- Complains his 8 digit salary isn't enough to put food on the table Fall Out Boy- The fact that these guys have made it as big as they have signals the end of the possibility that their will ever be talented musicians on the radio ever again. Easily the worst live band I've ever seen in my life.

^What is up with you Brits being up so early in the morning? Yes, I do recognize time zone differences.

LOTR. Amazing movies and an even more amazing book. Star Wars isn't bad, but at times cheesy in my opinion.

Help me with my college report! YAY!
Scaparri replied to coasterferg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, same with SFKK's T2. It actually held up for a while, but now it doesn't so much make your ears bleed, but the shuffling busts your balls. I went with small-rocket though it was hard to pass up a compact wooden twister. I love launched coasters though and rides like Kanonen just look insane. -
Tusenfryd Discussion Thread

This ride looks sick. For some reason I had it in my mind that this was going to be much smaller. Guess I was wrong on that one, thankfully. I wish we had a few more custom rockets like this and SE in the US. -Scott "To hell with the record race, give me some serious rides" Parrish -
Wanna really get into stalking someone...

Whoa!! That is crazy!! This could be really useful though if you ever wanted to find out whatever happened to an old friend or something though. -
Terrell Owens is History! Thank God For That!
Scaparri replied to BelizeIt's topic in Random, Random, Random
^Yeah, I think you summed it up pretty well. No additions here. -
You and I both. I like to eat my nuggets with sauce, but I also like to eat my fries plain. People always think I'm crazy that I don't want ketchup. It ruins the taste! I only want ketchup if the fries aren't that good.

South Park is funny, but Family Guy is the superior of the two if you ask me. The humor in FG is just so witty. There are so many one-liners in Family Guy that just make me die laughing. There is also a lot of small jabs that aren't always easy to catch or understand.

Yeah, but they make amazing things like Slurpees and Go-Go Taquitos.

How You Became an Enthusiast
Scaparri replied to MSLSM's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, I started to get really into coasters in 1996 after a trip to the now defunt Opryland. This was only fueled more the following year by a couple of library books and a trip to PKI and SFKK. I would say 1998 was when I started to hit enthusiasm. I really started to gain a knowledge of the subject and was asking my parents to take me to parks far away. I was able to talk them into taking me to SFStL to ride Mr. Freeze. It was a done deal after that. -
I never thought I'd say this, but I actually have to go with Gemini. This ride is just downright fun and fairly smooth for an Arrow. This season the racing between the two was actually pretty good as well.
-
Yes, yes he is. It's quite funny how she always tries to cover herself up when she's at the races. The judd family never fails to amaze me. How Ashley is so pretty, yet her sisters are so... yeah, I'll leave it at that.

Robb! Robb! Mark me down on the waiting list for the UK trip!! I really wish I could have afforded this trip. Just a bad time though. Hasn't been a good year financially. So he's your friend's dad's cousin, Chrissie? lol. Nice. I'm just impressed that you know who he is. He's a really nice guy. Not that I know him personally but I've met him on a couple occasions. Lou, what exactly is the "drawl"?
