  1. I have lost most of my inhibitions. I've been way to good of a kid all my life and now I just want to let loose. It also kills me that I have spent my entire life in Bloomington. I swear if I stay here much longer I'm going to lose my sanity. It's not I don't like it here, there is just too much of the world to see to stay in the same place for this much of your life. -Scott "I'm a wanderer" Parrish
  2. And it's a Scottish accent on top of that right? That's awesome. Ever heard of Dario Franchitti? Well, he's a big race car driver here in the U.S. who's from Scotland and I really get a kick out talking to him.
  3. Oh yeah, VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: If you see a car coming down the street, and you can't completely walk across that street before the car passes, DON'T WALK ACROSS THAT STREET! They will not stop, slow down, or swerve. I flirted with this as I'm from a college town where pedestrians own the streets. I just about ended up with a faceful of windshield.
  4. I don't think it gets that bad actually. I went during a beautiful day in July (granted it was a weekday) and they just let us stay in the coaster until somebody waited for our seat. We (TheGreatOne and I) ended up getting I think at least five rides in a row in the back seat, plus at least four other rides on it earlier as well as a couple rounds of mini golf all within a few hours.
  5. Great Photo TR. Dude, that arena rocks for a minor league team...or maybe our arena just sucks really bad? I was going to do a photo TR of the St. Louis Blues game I went to in October, but they didn't allow cameras in. Anyway, that sucks the team didn't do very well. I'm kind of in the same boat. The Blues are pretty bad this year. Oh well, it's still early in the season!
  6. "Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow" by Coheed & Cambria
  7. The "beginning" was when I was 10 yrs old. My family went to Opryland, and I decided that I would conquer my horrifying fear of heights/coasters and ride Hangman (now Kong at SFMW). I rode it, and though it scared the crap out of me, I loved it. This was fueled during the following by a couple of books in the public library and a trip PKI. I was hooked then on out.
  8. I was a ride op this year on Millennium Force and we had a girl get hit in the face by a goose at the bottom of the first drop. That was pretty bad. The front of the train was covered in blood, she was covered in blood, and the blood was all over the first four cars of the train. She messed her face up pretty bad. When we walked the low zones that night, we found feathers scattered everywhere. It's amazing how many dead birds we found this summer, not to mention bloodied faces.
  9. Go check out the Jekyll & Hyde Club on 6th Avenue (just a few blocks from Times Square). It has an amazing and fun atmosphere (heavily themed) and the food is awesome.
  10. "Just thinking about her makes my testicles want to drop"
  11. I saw Animal House for the first time the other day. Apparently I wasn't officially a man until I had seen it. It was pretty funny, had lots of pointless nudity, and was just a fun movie. The ending was a little over the top, but I still loved the movie. John Belushi is awesome. -Scott "I'm a zit, get it?" Parrish
  12. I am still fascinated by the British accent. I kind of have a thing for British girls right now. I would be a British girl's dream. They could talk as long as they wanted and I would never stop listening.
  13. Steve & Barry's College Bookstores Goodwill Hollister for pants and shorts (so comfy and darn good lookin') I mostly where IU clothing because it is dirt cheap.
  14. Yeah, Jamba isn't really over here in the East much. I voted for Jamba though 'cause I've had it and it's friggin' amazing. I love that stuff. Starbucks is good and all, but it's not Jamba. -Scott "We have Smoothie King" Parrish
  15. I think it's an excellent deal, but they just didn't advertise it very well.
  16. ^Oh dear God...my eyes are bleeding.
  17. How about more pictures of cute girls?
  18. This doesn't really surprise me at all. While GL may "look" nice, Cedar Fair just doesn't seem to know how to make two parks within close proximity of each other succeed. If you take a drive through Cleveland, I guarantee you will see more CP billboards and advertisements than you do at GL. Turn on the tv and I guarentee you will see more CP commercials than GL. You can't just buy a park and expect people to come to it if there isn't major advertisement of changes. All they've really done to the waterpark at this point is just moved it. Next year will be better, but taking out the animal side was a really dumb idea. If they want to get people back to the park, a waterpark upgrade isn't going to do it, nor is an unadvertised price drop. They need to pull some sort of Six Flags 2000 action and advertise it if they want people. Aside from the four coasters put in 2000 (doesn't necesarrily need to be that drastic), I remember seeing advertisements for the park in my hometown which is 7 hours away in another state. Pretty much in Cedar Fair's case, poor marketing= poor attendance.
  19. Yeah, Brief Encounter sounds like something odd or freaky moment you had in your high school shower room, no?
  20. It's a triangle! Seriously though, you just have to ride it. Those 12 passenger trains don't let up. Twelve is about all they need too. All this talk really makes me miss it.
  21. I'm really not much of a soda drinker. I stick to Tropicana orange juice and lactose free milk (lactose intolerant). But when I do drink pop, I prefer the following: A&W Root Beer Red Bull A&W Sparkling Vanilla Cream Soda Jones Cream Soda Jones Green Apple
  22. ^Yeah, I know. I'm done with the whole shaving my head deal. Time to grow back the hair, otherwise I'm going to freeze this winter. Well, here ya go Lou, a pic of me with hair and without out face paint. This is me and one of my best buds at a Christmas in July party at CP this summer. I'm really not short, he's just about 6'3''-6'4''.
  23. Well, if you don't count CP (I worked there this summer), SFKK and PKI are probably pretty close. I've been going to PKI almost every year since I was little, but ever since I turned 16, I've been going to SFKK a lot.
  24. Well, I haven't had a chance to download the POV, but I felt the exact same way. Avalanche is absolutely incredible. If I didn't know any better, I would swear those little trains never lose momentum. Freakin' insane. I still have a hard time determining which one is better between it and Hades. I can't wait to watch the vid.
  25. Haha, whoops. Guess I kind of missed that one. But yeah, at least other people feel the same way.
