You have a pic of Stacey in the first Mumbo Jumbo car. But where's Russ? Oh. wait. He's a few pics down. -
All these people are trying it (Beverly) and not liking it. I think Plex has lied to us. Glad the trip is off to a good start. Have an awesome time everyone

One of my favorite memories from the trip was the group of us waiting for the Rain to stop so the Jet Star would reopen. We joked around with the ride up and sang her and the Norse weather gods all the songs we could think of with the word "sun" in them. It worked. She asked maintenance to wait by the ride so it could be opened sooner and the rain broke. It just goes to show, you should be nice to ride ops, and you can have anywhere with the right group of people. I loved this park, I just wish (like most Scandi parks) that they had adult t-shirts that were not elasticised.

Disneyland in Paris - Worth It?
Moose replied to rockbook2000's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I completely agree with what Joe said earlier. If you only have a day or two, stay in the city and see it. If you have more than that and are a disney fan, go to Disneyland Paris, it is a gorgeous park that I thoroughl enjoyed, but don't miss seeing Paris. -
I have a feeling that this is a case of the grass being greener. While the parks in Finland may not be the biggest or the most themed parks in the world they are all wonderful parks in their own right. Sometimes bigger is not always better and that is very much the case with the three lovely parks we visited in Finland.

Great report. This was an amazing little park. I was astonished by the parks beauty. Were you Ok after the slide? That is the exact location where I broke my arse which I am still feeling. That landing needs more cushiony material than that deceptively hard rubber.

Are you sure that wasn't a screen cap from New Years?

If you mean a scad tower lift then i agree, because they are obviously building a scad tower. Scad Tower! -
^ Perhaps the ops were only saying it on one side of the train, or maybe they didn't bother telling those with short legs to ride that way. I was afraid that if I waited for the Taco buffet that I wouldnt have enough time to eat, so I ate at the poolside restaurant with Dave L & Josh. As far as the pic with Russ, Miles, and myself in it. Miles and I were checking out a really really hot dilf and while we were distracted, Russ appeared out of nowhere. Hanno caught the whole thing because Hanno is Hanno.

^I thought her rug hating evil twin was made out of chocolate.

^ They continually told me to ride with my legs on either side of the seat in front of me. I figured it was so you wouldn't wonk your knee on the restraint box when the train hit the BROMS!

This ride scared the hell out of me with its first turn off the lift. It moves in ways that no other coaster does and in very very surprising ways. I was not brave enough to flap my arms until the second go-around, and even then I grasped the siderails in alarm during several maneuvers. I wonder if the ride is somewhat scarier for adults than it is children due to our higher center of gravities in relation to the train. For kids, the side rails are chest level or perhaps a bit lower. For adults, I seem to remember it being in line with your thighs (if not a tad lower) leaving your entire upper body without any "enclosure." I wonder if the heavier riders made the ride swing more. At any rate, the ride was a ton of fun after a few rides. A complete surprise in a good way. I am fan of tranan though never expect another one.

Was the woman not hospitalised for 16 days or was it not reported to the park for 16 days? I assume it was the latter, and if that is the case, I have a feeling the family was more concerned about the woman's recovery than they were about reporting the problem to the park. In no way does this means that they are unsure what caused the problem or that they are being money hungry. -
This was easily my favorite park of the trip. Balder, Hotel Gasten, Awesome Water Rides, Balder, Gasten, Beautiful Park, Balder, Gasten, Lisebanana, Balder, Gasten, Balder Um... there is a light anomaly in our Gasten Picture (on the right, next to Russ) perhaps the place really is haunted. My heart is still racing from three trips through Gasten and all the amazing rides on Balder.

A year ago, I would have agreed that the park seemed jampacked and that it wasn't realistic, but the TPR mainland Europe trip changed my opinion on park layouts. One could draw a direct comparison of a park to either Phantasialand or Europa park (My Favorite) both of which are jam packed with stuff and both are absolutely lovely parks. Good park. -

I am very glad that you weren't interupted by security or park guests. What a great way to celebrate and have fun on such a joyous occasion. Congratulations on your wedding and 13 years together! -

Like everyone else, when I first saw this, it immedeately reminded me of Ramses. I feel for Elissa riding this, because I too got VERY ill from little old Ramses. I am glad you both made it out alright. -

It was advertised more as a miniseries than a show that will have more than a first run. -

Thanks for showing the insides of the bucket. I figured they wouldn't just pour out, but seeing the baffle structure is great. I love the yellow bucket.
