^Thanks for that information. That makes much more sense. Schools up here in the northeast usually start last week of August or first week of September.

When does school go back in the area? I was skeptical about your claim that their season was almost finished so I checked their calendar and low and behold the parks stops daily operation on August 7th. That seems really early for a water park in such a warm climate.

Out of that list (and Easter) I think Valentines day would make the best addition. (Please please no Easter) That being said, i think there is room in many of the existing zones, especially Thanksgiving, to add attractions.

I think if you ask the public 99% of them will still say Giant is a wooden coaster. If they were to add another wooden coaster, I'm sure they would all say, but they just (re)built a wooden coaster.

The only reason I am disappointed in a wingrider is I would have loved to see a great (Intamin or perhaps Rocky Mountain) along the beach. Nothing says classic amusement park more than a woodie along the beach. Granted Cedar Point seems like they could care less about keeping or trying to replicate anything classic.

^^Trenching near a body of water (Lake Erie) is usually difficult because the water tables are so high. It would require special construction techniques and constant pumping.

Wow. I really need to visit this park. Is a day enough to see everything including the dolphin encounter? Or the opposite question, is it a full day park?

The dispatch person can also do great customer service especially if they are allowed to talk over the speakers and not just standard spiels. I will always remember an awesome guy at Mean Streak years later that actually made the ride experience enjoyable. Then of course there is always the outstanding ops on Boulder Dash that are usually, fun, funny, and quite energetic!

I love how you document all (or most) of the bbq joints like you do rides, with pictures of their ride signs (menus). I probably would have chosen the pulled pork as well, love that stuff!

I too miss Pandemonium circling Timewarp, and would love it if another ride were put there. It would also conserve space.

These plans are quite ambitious, I am hoping we won't have another Hard Rock park situation here or construction not even starting.

Just bought tickets to go see the Go Go's and then a month(ish) later Heart. I love chick rock!
