  1. Talocan looks amazing, abut what is with it waving three walls behind it, a roof, but no fourth wall. While the theming looks great, it looks like it was going to be indoors, but the park ran out of money.
  2. Right now my favorite is Six Flags St. Louis. While not the largest, the staff is great when I go, crowds are light, and the atmosphere is great.
  3. All of those are likely, and I believe most of those will happen one day.
  4. This coaster looks amazing, and it is one of my favorite rocket coasters. While I'm not a fan of the trains, I'm starting to like them more than I did before. I like these newer rocket coasters with out top hats as they have some good layouts, and hopefully more are built in the states.
  5. Well, here you get into a complicated issue such as, do racing coasters count as two rides and the like. I think with rcdb, it's just how the database was programed. I count the inversions on a shuttle coaster twice, but there are people who don't. It's just a matter of opinion and not a law.
  6. yes...unless I'm at a park Is it raining outside right now?
  7. Nice TR, and WWW looks to have a lot of potential. Since it is the only "major" park in the area, they can attract guests from a good chunk of the Great Plains states. I know the park has received a lot of criticism on this forum due to its lack of trees and grass, but the park just opened. In a few years, this can become a really nice park once the grass and trees grow, and with the drop tower and new coaster coming, things will only get better. Airtime-I bet a water park is due in 2010-&Gravity
  8. Is it possible that this is the most random statement in this topic?
  9. medical reasons??! Celebrities like her need to serve their full sentence. I'm sick of having a chunk of news time devoted to how these people drink, drive, do drugs, and nothing happens. Even after this, we treat them like gods.(well maybe not Paris) Airtime-society is so messed up-&Gravity
  10. I think the lift hill falling over set them back a month if I remember correctly. Troy looks like one of the best wooden coasters in Europe, and I'm looking forward to the TPR update.
  11. They want you to know how other people have a better life than you How did the "Keep off the Grass" sign get on the grass?
  12. The station theming is great, and it seems very comedic. The ride looks great, and it looks like it pulls some strong g-forces in the turns and barrel roll. Although there doesn't appear to be much airtime, it looks like a better ride than Kingda Ka, Stealth, Zaturn, or TTD.
  13. Since when did Disney build a screamin swing?(near the end by the "spinning crack pipes") I know the show likes to exaggerate, but was the housing project that far from the park, or is it close? I know Disney wants the best for their guests(although, I don't know how a $70 ticket is good), what is the big deal about having low income housing in the same area. Disney needs to understand that not everyone who lives there is a criminal. Oh yeah the show, I thought it was a good clip, and it did a great job of embarrassing Disney.(well the housing project too)
  14. I know this will have a slower launch, and the ride will be family friendly, so I'm expecting something along the lines of Rita in terms on intensity. It looks like it will an out and back coaster, but I hope it is not a near clone of the Booster Bike coasters. I hope to follow the construction of this coaster, and it will probably be the year's sleeper hit.
  15. amazing Voyage, but the coaster broke down, so Mr. Six was forced to go...
  16. I doubt it has 3 lift hills, because Knoebel's would never do that bad of a job building a coaster.(it's not an arrow mine train after all) It is probably just the angle of the photo. This is one of my most anticipated coasters of the season, and it is nice to see the owners putting so much time and effort into the new ride. I would expect the coaster to take the turns really quickly(I think the old Flying Turns especially the one at Palisades did this) , and it should be a great ride when finished. Edit: Never mind, I guess it really does have three lift hills which seems really strange given the rides size.
  17. I thought the park might have had a chance, but now it looks like CLP will really close forever. I know many members on the site like the park, and it's sad to see the park closed after the community tried to save it for so many years.
  18. ^plus, who wants to learn about of all thing religion? If they did what EPCOT did with different countries, but with religion instead, then the park might work. From photos of the park I've seen, it looks nice, but I could care less when the park finally closes.
  19. Great photos and TR. SFNE looks like a really nice park, and it is one of the SF parks I want to go to the most. The photos seemed to do a good job of portraying the park, and I can see why almost everyone likes the park.
  20. Hasn't Holy Land gone bankrupt every few years? The owners need to realize that while in Orlando, people want to be with Mickey and not god. I applaud the person that had the guts to build the park, but I'm not surprised that it is failing. The only place HL would have a remote chance of working is Salt Lake City. Airtime-Why am I reminded of "Praiseland" from the Simpsons-&Gravity
  21. ^so true Well, that's not supposed to happen...Control-Alt-Delete, Control-Alt-Delete
  22. Why won't this place just close. This might just be me, but does anyone want to go to a Christian theme park while in Orlando? I don't think anyone would want to go to it even if it was in an area with no parks, and this park will finally close within five years.
  23. For me it depends on the weather and how long I'll be at the park. If it is very hot out, I only will be at the park for a short time or the park is packed, I will try to use flash pass. While I don't hate waiting in line, I don't love to.
  24. headed out to California to find him. Mr. Six was gone however because he was over at the Alveys...
  25. Does this mean their won't be the 150ft height limit anymore? I have to agree that SF made a smart move by buying the entire park now as it should help decrease their debt load in the long run
