  1. Since a category 2 storm isn't bad, I'm sure the coaster is fine, but the base might be flooded. Now if Dean goes where predicted(south or Corpus Christi), the opening might be delayed since it will probably be a bad storm even up by Huston. Hopefully it can weather(no pun intended) the storms, and hopefully the owners open it on time.
  2. No, they usually deserve what is said about them Is Cedar Point the most over rated park?
  3. Good Riddance-Green Day
  4. Wow, you were right, that is ghetto. I would have thought that it would be a lot nicer since I assume the county has a decent population(I'm guessing it is between Toledo and Cleveland), so it should have been a decent fair. The whole fair looks like it has a few carnival rides and that nothing has been done in 30 years. It actually looks like more of a local fair, but county fairs are supposed to be better than that.
  5. Why is it that in England, the Speaker of the House is not allowed to speak?
  6. "Always, always accept good advice. As long as it doesn't interfere with your original plans."
  7. No, I think it opens in a few weeks. Well the storm missed Huston, and I doubt the opening was set back, so there is nothing to worry about. While I didn't think much about this coaster before, I am starting to like it more.. It looks like a really good coaster, and it proves you don't need a huge coaster to be a really great one. Airtime-isn't it under 100ft tall?-&Gravity
  8. Wait...what? If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around, does it make a sound?
  9. Good photos so far Erik, and I have to agree that CP has a bug problem. It could have been worse though, I think Michigan Adventure has a terrible bug problem. Looks like a lot of fun, and the parks don't seem that bad, then again you got a lot of rain on the trip, and it looks like you were still able to do a lot.
  10. Beech Bend looks like a pretty nice park, but it still has a very carnival look to it. As for Kentucky Kingdom, it looks like it is a lot better than my visit last year. Don't get me wrong, it was still a nice park, but it seemed to lack a certain quality. The new water park looks nice, and it is a major improvement over the way it was before. Hopefully Six Flags can reinvest in this park since it has potential, and hopefully the flat ride selection is improved.
  11. Some way for smart people to communicate...wow, that makes sense Why does traffic in New York City suck?
  12. No Have you gone on a TPR official trip?
  13. Do cemetery workers prefer the graveyard shift?
  14. Wow, I'm going to be really upset if Laser is removed as it looks like a really good ride. Discovery Kingdom would be a good place for a Big Spin coaster, and it would fit in really well. Since it is probably going were Zonga was, I hope they do something so it is not just a parking lot coaster. Some grass and a few trees would probably be a big improvement.
  15. Well, the new potential owners sound like they are capable or running the park a lot better than the former owners. While I was excited to hear that the same people who own Magic Springs could by the park, an entirely new company is just as good. I just think they should have purchased/built a park(s) like a FEC or Timber Falls instead of buying a bankrupt park.
