Elissa's Random Thought of the Day!
waterviper replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
If everyone that worked at SFMM was like Mike, SFMM would be class act! Glad KT wasn't harmed! Most unfortunate you all had to experience that as well. It is also unfortunate that these incidences have to happen in order to take proper steps to prevent such another incident like this! I really hope that dummy is fired. Also hope he is prevented from working at any amusement park again or anyplace that requires some sort of operation that can cause harm from not properly doing the job right. -
Please don't use old testament law, in Christianity, Christ came to fufill the law, and therfore Christians are no longer bound to obey old testament law, but to obey Christ teachings not to say we do not use things from the old testament to guide our faith, but we are not required to follow them, I can't remember the last time I sacrafice a young goat to pay pennace for my sins The fact that people make interpetations on a vague passage of scripture should not confuse anyone, the bible is not really specific about HOW God created the earth, just that he did, and although it says it took 7 days, the bible also hints that time means nothing to God. I could quote off a bunch of scriptures, but I won't. The fact remains that faith is a very personal thing, and while some members like Shepp seem to truely dislike christianity, I have met some really amazing people who really do good for thier communities in the framework of organized religion. Well this of course is off subject, but many "Christians" use the old testament to condemn homosexuals. Back to that old picking and chosing to fit an agenda. Being human nobody is perfect! No one is perfect and not one thing in belief is perfect or cut in stone. There are so many variables in everything and with our individual beliefs what one person thinks is right the other thinks it is wrong. What I think is that no one knows what the truth is. We all are just going to believe in what we want to believe in and stick to it because that is human nature through our faith in our belief. All I can say is that the only way to find out is time. Maybe after death we will know what the truth is. But until then it's is a speculated belief weather or not you feel you believe you are completely and utterly right or just dont give a flying donkey. But as for me, I believe in Creationism because that is what I choose to put my faith into and it works great for me.

To each their own. Believe in or not believe in what you are most comfortable with.

I have enjoyed the Subs then and I am sure I will enjoy it now because to it is something I wished they never got rid of. So I am thrilled to see it working again. But I have seen the video and honestly I think the older version is much better then this new Finding Nemo version even though it is outdated. I would of liked to of seen a higher tech version of the old version without the Nemo element involved. I know the video doesn't show lots of stuff once in the cave because it was so dark the camera couldn't capture the scenes too well. But it was enough for me to base an opinion on it. Though never the less I am happy to see it back even with it being Finding Nemo and cant wait to the day I get to ride it once again.

Of all places to get stuck too! I mean look they are feet from being let go to complete the course and are feet from geting stuck facing upwards which would of been a much much more comfortable position to get stuck in. But nope they had to get stuck in the worse position possible! Not to mention that is one seriously stupid way to go up a lift hill. Who ever thought of this idea for a lift hill seriously did not think things through! I move to actually destroy all coasters with this type of lift hill because now they are proven dangerous!

Ever heard of G-forces? That's just an onride movie. When your sitting behind your desk watching an onride aint as fun as riding the rollercoaster for real. So maybe it's dull, but if I hear those people screaming, I don't think it is dull at all. But still you have to ride it to have a good opinion about the ride of course. That is the GP screaming and not really about riding to base an opinion on it. Since most of us here know how coasters are and how they feel, yes we can base an opinion on it just from the video. I would have to agree with onewheeled999. This layout does look a bit boring when they could of done much more with it like maybe a loop or other elements instead of just goin over a few hills and turns with just one heartline.. yeah not too exciting! Not to mention I think it could be longer. I mean sure I would ride and it will be fun to ride because it's a coaster but this just would NOT be worth a long wait. If I waited long for this I would be disapointed. No you can't. I can and I will and I have! -

Anyone see Pirates 3 yet?? I want spoilers!
waterviper replied to happyscrappy's topic in Random, Random, Random
Thar be spoilers ahead... Btw Calypso created the maelstrom (whirlpool) and created the winds to push only the Flying Dutchman and the Black pearl into the maelstrom (whirlpool) so they can fight against each other without the other ships getting involved. Basically she didn't specifically help any particular side. She just created the scene for them both to fight! -
This is so Myspace it's not even funny!!

Homemade Dole Whip!
waterviper replied to yesac519's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Not really I agree with you Speedracer to a point. Yea the Disney dole whip isn't all that. It's ok. But ya, it just tastes like regular ol pineapple sherbet. But I also understand Jahans view on it. It is the whole charm behind getting it at Disney is what makes it so special. -

I think they should of added rock formation around the tunnel so it looks like you shooting out of a side of a hill of rock. Then have that one part where it goes back over the tunnel be a small quick tunnel through the rock formation aswell. -

You know what else I find kind of odd, this is turning out to be a quick fix as if they anticipated it! Hmmm! They probably designed that spot so an S-curve would fit perfectly in case the heart line needed removing..which it did. -

In all honesty everyone, it does not look like it's going to be any different than the other s-curves this thing has already when it transitions from on turn to the next in that one section. -
Flashback- SFMM. Everyone hatted this ride cuz of how rough it was. I alway liked it! As a matter of fact it was one of my favorite coasters at SFMM!

Most Overrated coaster?
waterviper replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
There hasn't been a coaster I have disliked yet. Also most likely for me I wont think any coaster is overrated because I don't set high expectations on any coasters even if I read that it's the BOMB or it is GOD among coasters! . I just ride them for what they are! Because of that view there hasn't been a coaster that has been overated for me yet. Also I am the kind of guy who liked Flashback at SFMM and likes Flying Coaster at Elitch Gardens! So that tells you a lot about me right there! -

LOL, CP loves fast speeds and TONS of trims! Look at Mean Streak. that sucker has trims on its first hill. (yeah, we all know the reason why, but WTF? Why build so tall or accelerate so quickly if you're just going to trim in less than 200 feet of track?) You know if this was built on No Limits it would probably gotten bashed! -

Ok the one thing I do not understand about this ride is the launch midsection. Like wtf is it launching for? It is there to pick up speed only to be braked and to go through a heart line that can knock your brains out? I mean wtf was up with that design? I mean I can understand if there was a big loop or a huge hill it needed to go over or maybe more track to go through, but to turn a quick corner only to be braked and then fly through an element people cant handle? I dunno this just seems strange to me. I guess now it's making more sense since they are taking out the heart line and adding an S curve and then hopefully it wont need to be braked as much. -
Havent been here in forever. That is my 1-800-flower hat I had to wear when I worked for them for 2 days.
