Disneyland Paris (DLP) Discussion Thread

^Ahh I totally missed that. Great to see the park finally get some love and I hope it all makes a noticeable effect on the atmosphere at the park. It is a shame about the new trains taking so long for Space Mountain though but hopefully they will be worth it. -

Did I miss the announcement of that? I thought Space Mountain was closing again in the next few months for new trains. Its a shame if it is delayed until 2017 though as it really needs them. -

This could arguably end up being the most beautiful tea cups ride ever made! -

This ride has definitely used its fair amount of concrete. Of course the park are doing a fantastic job of hiding it from us. I still have no clue of the layout of this ride but I am really excited for it. -

So my take away from that video is that the theme of the ride is your being attacked by a radioactive guy who's using his mind powers to make things float? -

This park seems to have gone from strength to strength since Piraten opened. Im sure the park will be able to throw a fantastic halloween event even though I don't think the ingredients the inhabitants of the haunted house have in mind for the soup will taste that good. -

I certainly think the ride getting painted is a great thing. It didn't bother me with the old paint job but there was no denying it was faded and didn't look that great. -
Alton Towers Discussion Thread

Honestly Alton Towers is fantastic with or without the Smiler so the fact thats its closed shouldnt stop you visiting at any point. The park has Nemesis in it and that alone is worth the trip. -
The park looks fantastic, it has changed so much since my first visit in 2008. That being said GeForce is still the highlight of that park with all its Intamin goodness.

Alton Towers Discussion Thread

So Halloween is creeping ever closer, parks are starting to announce their new attractions for the spooky season and Alton Towers is no exception. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Featuring 2 new scare mazes, 2 new scare zones, a new route for Tower of the Terrors plus the brand new "Sub Species: Operation Lockdown" scare attraction it looks like Scarefest is getting a complete over haul. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] So what do you think of the new Scarefest? Do you think it will help boost back Alton Towers attendance figures? Comment below. -
Toy Story Land 1000x more awesome to me that Star Wars anything. Its great to see this park getting such a huge development. If it wasn't for "For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration" and ToT I could have easily gone without visiting the park (other than to get my Elsa Magic Band! ).

Great to hear that Monster is getting a repaint. Such a great ride but it looked so strange just stuck there with a faded paint job. If Anaconda stays I will be very surprised I mean I don't think a big renovation will be able to save it so good riddance hopefully. -

Thats interesting that they turn the reverse drop on and off. I would love to know if thats an automated feature to do with dispatch times/where the trains are located or if its an option by the operator to activate. -

That buffet looks amazing!!!! Coaster looks pretty good too I have yet to ride an RMC yet so can't base my opinion on this against anything on a personal basis. All I can say its it looks like it should be awesome and from what I have heard about RMC coasters I imagine it will not disappoint at all.
