Phantasialand Discussion Thread
StealthFan replied to roeterich's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you love Sonic Spinball my advice for Phantasialand is simple. Ride Winjas over and over again. Both of them are leagues above Spinballs. -
Well this could be a long list but lets see. Blackpool Pleasure Beach Valhalla Infusion Wallace & Gromit Thril-O-Matic Playstation - The Ride/ Ice Blast Alton Towers Hex Air Duel TH13TEEN Rita Spinball Whizzer Smiler Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Nemesis Sub-Tera Thorpe Park Tidal Wave Colossus Nemesis Inferno Rush Slammer Saw - The Ride Pirates 4D Detonator Stealth The Swarm Storm Surge Vortex Zodiac Eclipse There is probably more but thats the ones that I could think of easily.

So I know its only concept art but I love how the cannons are firing on the side of the ships. It would be great if they manage that as a practical effect on the ride. -

^^I dont think changing those wheels will be the easiest wheel change the engineers ever do! That does look better than some alloys on cars though. -
Announcing "Skyline Attractions"
StealthFan replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow that really does look CRAZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYY!!!! I am still unsure on this as a concept. If people do ride it and it ends up being awesome then great but I will need some convincing. -
Fun Spot America Discussion Thread

Totally agree about White Lightning being impressive. It is without doubt the best woodie in Florida haha. I share your thoughts about the prices at the park as well. When I visited we didn't go until late in the evening and it was still full price for a wristband and instantly showed me why a park that was open so late was almost deserted at that time. If prices were a bit lower I could imagine the park being packed in the evenings. -
Liseberg Discussion Thread
StealthFan replied to viking86's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Another reason why Liseberg is awesome! Can you imagine how insane it would be if you could ride with ice on the track?!?!? I do understand 100% why you can't run it with ice on the track but still imagine haha. -

That was only to test out the spinning vehicle, it won't stay there. I do wonder if it will stay in the workshop though to allow potential buyers to come and experience it before they purchase one. -

Am I correct in saying that River Quest is on the bottom right of this picture with all the scaffolding up the side of it? If so it looks like it may be more substantial work being done on it than I expected. -

The snowmen queuing to get in is such a lovely touch. I can only imagine the testicle freezing properties of Balder in the winter but that would not stop me from riding. -

Okay so while watching the Lego movie today I had a thought about the "crazy couch" and came up with the next generation of this ride. It will of course be the "Double Decker Crazy Couch"! Legolands newest attraction anyone? -

Looks like it's going to be some sort of Pixar attraction. http://www.mynews13.com/content/news/cfnews13/on-the-town/article.html/content/news/articles/cfn/2015/11/13/captain_eo_closing_f.html I very much approve of this! -

Getting Too Old To Ride...
StealthFan replied to Rider51's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Its interesting to think about but I certainly can't ride anywhere near the amount I did when In was in my early teens now. I can't even ride some rides at all any more. I think it all started around 2007 after a ride on Colossus at Thorpe Park caused me the heave my guts up on my cousins shoe after riding. Ever since that moment I haven't been on Colossus and really struggle with dizziness after any ride with inline/barrel rolls. Not really promising for me considering in now only 24 but I can still ride the things I enjoy without any real issues and just take it a lot easier at parks now. -

Worst Announcements for 2016?
StealthFan replied to Awesomefaceninja7's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Once, just once, I want someone to go through the entrance and see some guy taking a whizz on the wall. Well if I ever go back I could totally do that. I should have done it in the train station though then it would have been a super realistic recreation of London. -
"Frozen" Airplane
StealthFan replied to better_by_design's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Of course its no ANA Star Wars jet or the Hello Kitty one as its so much better! Given the fact I am not the most patient flyer especially when its comes to long flights, I'm sure this plane would help me out given my Elsa fanboyness. -

I dont even want to think of the disgusting state the bottom of the lake was in. Im sure once the construction vehicles come in the whole area will look like it did all those years ago when the ride was being built. -

With apologies, but what is a "VR Coaster"? Air was the first Coaster I took my future wife on, so there is a certain fondess for it. This is the only VR coaster currently in existence at Europa Park. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Honestly if Air gets VR treatment the last small little speck of faith I had in Merlin will die. This is not to sort of ride that VR is needed and will kill the capacity of that ride quick. New paint, trains and some theming and I would be happy. Maybe the awesome light show in the tunnel at the start with misters like was originally planned would also be nice.
