  1. Can't wait to ride it to judge for myself. Is it just pain tolerance or body shape or height or what? That seems to be a lost detail "hey this ride's restraints suck."
  2. KT what's your favorite Cartoon Network show/character?
  3. There's one down by Beast/Diamondback splash and one in the Festhaus; not sure elsewhere. What was inedible about it? You probably got a stale slice? I rarely eat out at a LaRosas when in Cincy and prefer to get a slice at KI since they're usually so fresh. The pepperoni is consistently crispy on top of the cheese and goes well with the sweet pizza sauce. Honestly I don't really remember why it was so bad. I think it wasn't cooked all the way and the crust was stale, and I didn't really care for the sauce. I think it was on International Street but I could be remembering that wrong. I'll have to try one of the other locations this year, hopefully it was just a bad day because it seems that everyone likes it. I haven't been a local for 3 years now so my details about the park are starting to show, haha. If you don't care of the sauce then I'd skip it and go for a good that you really like. I'd say Cincinnatians are 50/50 on LaRosas (love/hate). But that seems to be the case with all of the Cincy based chains (people love/hate Montgomery Inn's sauce/rib style; people pick Skyline or Gold Star or Price Hill, PRC, etc) with the exception being Graeters. Everyone loves Graeters!

  5. KI's site is currently down, but they confirmed that the new building in Coney Mall is going to be a new BBQ place (a few days old news, but more details below). This is a great addition to KI's food line up. There are so many quality smokers out on the market, it's easy to produce some excellent BBQ if you have the money for a smoker. Based on the review for the BBQ spot in the waterpark last year, this should be a success. You've got: LaRosas pizza Greater's Ice Cream Blue Ice Cream Banshee Ice Cream Skyline (love it or hate it) Montgomery Inn BBQ Regular good BBQ Mac 'n Cheese Bar (returning, I think) More food yay
  6. I like that they left part of the original track so you can see the difference. Who knows, 100 years from now it could have many different track segments!
  7. Great photos. I honestly do not remember riding that mine train and I had to look it up on the map to see where it is, haha. I don't think I've been on it!
  8. Hopefully when Xcelerator comes back on 4/6 it'll be open consistently. Boysenberry fest looks fantastic!
  9. Damn straight. Beer flights in a theme park? Heeelllllll yes.
  10. Good news is you'll still be able to ride it. It's not like they are going to engrave the names of the "first riders" in the seats of the train
  11. If someone told me it sold it in under 5 minutes that wouldn't surprise me one bit. The Mean Streak RMC conversion has been anticipated since Texas Giant, of course this event will sell out in a record pace. If I were trying to go I'd have as many devices and tabs up as possible ala Lollapalooza ticket release day haha
  12. Great photos! What vegan items were there to try? I seriously miss the boysenberry beer and the BBQ pork shoulder + sauces was some of the best food I've had in a theme park.
  13. Did they share it as a gif so boldikus and include it in every post? #wishfullthinking #optimistic
  14. Dream big, do good. Aww. That is a great message, though. I'm in love with the spinning piece at the entrance. Very detailed and mesmerizing!
  15. Wow things have changed from 3 weeks ago! Really intent on getting back later in the season for a resounding 3 missed credits + some flats. ..although it'll be hard not to bail for Pixar Pier Jk, I'd love to see Knott's at night.
  16. Even more excited for Superduperlooper after reading your review! Wait so Superman has what restraints? I am confused.
  17. Pretty awesome if you're in the area/willing to travel for a ride! Pick your day and get your ride with free food and drinks.
  18. Incredible insight! Really really cool they let you record some of the behind the scenes work that showcases the idea-to-reality.
  19. First drop looks like it has a nice kick! July can't get here any quicker.
  20. What's scarier than bring a friend free day? Free admission day. See ya next time, Luna Park.
  21. It was open and I watched it cycle, but it didn't look that fun. The kid that was on it rode it two times in a row, but he never looked that happy We rode West Coaster and the Moser drop ride which had a long cycle and was surprisingly fun. If we weren't doing just two rides I might have tried it out.
  22. Feels like a decade ago they broke ground for this ride. I'm excited to see how this ride looks from the ground level and how consistent the full experience works.
  23. The best part is you get those people + the jungle gyms/swings/fitness areas on the beach! The opportunities for entertainment are endless! And then you add the stoners/buntouts to the mix and you one up endless entertainment hahaha.
  24. Hmmm I don't know, there a lot of ...mis-information out there! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28853&p=1842379&hilit=cnn#p1842379
  25. It is incredible how much this park has changed in 15 years. Wow. The new generation of Vekoma suspended coasters look like a lot of fun!
