  1. Sounds like we could have a TPR social distanced take over on Diamdondback's winged seats
  2. I also saw something on there about completing a health screening 24 hours prior to visiting the park, but it sounded like it was some kind of online screening, so it seems like someone could easily lie even if they were showing symptoms. I guess it's probably more for covering their a$$es so if there is someone sick who goes to the park, it's on the person for lying on the screening. Also, I haven't seen this anywhere, but is there some kind of limit to how many reservations you can make in a week? Because I'd like to go several times during the passholder week if I can, but I'm not sure if it's one reservation at a time. Yes it's an online questionnaire. It's insane people are reacting thinking they need to go get a physical from a doctor before visiting and making a huge scene on social media. People are so dumb There are a lot of questions that will be answered in the coming weeks. No one knows about how many reservations. We're all super stoked about visiting parks again, we'll know when we hear from the park.
  3. Yeah I'm ready to go. I will have a talk with my family to gauge their level of comfort first, but we're all healthy, have been practicing safe and smart measures. I will be keeping an extra eye on other people around me because I know there will be some who think they're above the rules. My time in Ohio is limited so I might go to KI on the 2nd day they reopen. We will see!
  4. King you dropped your crown around here somewhere
  5. I'd be comfortable visiting knowing what guidelines are in place at larger parks around the world and in the US. Will I be constantly vigilant because people are dumb as hell?! YES!! I hope to visit in July or whenever they reopen.
  6. Tomb Raider was awesome when it was running as intended, and then, was not awesome for the most part of the Crypt portion....until they put it in IDGAF mode in the last year it operated, and it flipped like any other crazy top spin would. Super interesting to hear stories from ride ops about the gusts the gondola threw at the building walls, how it e-stopped itself a bunch, and many more I am too lazy to collect from around the internet. The Italian Job coasters are fine, but the super low capacity deters me from them. I skipped KD's and haven't been on KI's in such a long time. I'm not sure I'll call it a mistake a KI, but they left a lot of the current plot of land unused, and it's such odd spots of land I'm not sure much could go there. It had a lot of potential. I'm happy Paramount took a lot of risks and really wanted to be first to market - Vekoma's Flying Coaster, Hypersonic XLC Volcano, SoB, Flight of Fear, Tomb Raider, Top Gun/Afterburn, SplashWorks, Fear Fest...
  7. No real complaints about Hades from my 2016 ride. I thought the airtime was pretty excellent and it wasn't even close to being too rough to enjoy. Zeus was so rough it immediately ranked with some of the worst wooden coasters I've ever been on. Cyclops was great! The go karts are fun, too. It's a weird park. I think I paid more for parking than admission.
  8. Mystic Timbers testing: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/explore/live-video Gov DeWine said he will address theme parks next week.
  9. Beech Bend got a 2nd Super WalMart on their 10th anniversary
  10. MF.. jackhammering? I don't believe I've ever heard it reported as that before.
  11. Very interesting comments regarding the mask. They are almost as strict as Japan when it comes to loose articles. Sounds like they will make you take it off regardless. Not sure how I feel about that. I would like to visit since I haven't been in a good 6 or 7 years.
  12. Was there any signage about kids? Kids are the ultimate wildcard. You can't tell parents to keep them in strollers or on a leash But how 3-8 year olds are going to be kept in check not spreading germs everywhere has to be thought through..
  13. I really hope there is a 3 strike policy or some sort of consequence for taking masks off/not following instructions. Stupid people need to know they're not special and don't have to follow rules because they want mask free selfies and other bullshit.
  14. Found another relic. Outer Limits: Flight of Fear announced in 1995. "Navy officials have previewed and like what they see!"
  15. Cornball is an excellent traditional wooden coaster, I'm happy to see this park get a new owner!
  16. Here's a link to the beach cam, it's empty. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Bill not sure if this counts, but I'll go with the Arc Encounter in Kentucky
  17. Impressive? Look the Shed is a nice touch, I see your username, and I'm sure they had something planned for Orion with it being a huge investment landmark coaster, but let's not get too carried away here.
  18. Wouldn’t releasing a POV actually help season pass retention though? Eh, I'm not sure. If you call attention to it, I think some people will realize they might not be going at all this year and cancel or try and get their money back.
  19. Awesome end to the report, bert! That last day evening was awesome, we couldn't have done it any better. I remember being sad about leaving Japan, but also looking forward to not walking 10 miles a day and getting some good rest haha. Man that breakfast spread was so good. We ate so well over there! Tokyo Disney Resort is no doubt the best theme park experience I've had. I'm realizing there are so many attractions I didn't experience! I didn't ride Buzz, huh how did I miss that
  20. Did Kings Island really not get any footage during the initial test runs? I find it astounding that they have not made a huge event out of releasing the POV. Every single local news channel followed the construction, rumors leading up to the announcement, and this whole local area has such an affinity for KI they're really making a mistake here. I guess they're waiting for when they know when the park will open for sure. Or they don't want to remind people that they have already paid for a season pass and can't use it right now
  21. I have similar feelings for Skyrush. It's such a frustrating ride for me because it could easily be a top 5 ride if it weren't for how uncomfortable the restraints are. During a Hershey visit I would rather marathon Storm Runner or Fahrenheit. The lapbar piece or have you not been on Maverick with the solf shoulder straps?
  22. Backwards Batman in 90*F heat almost did it, but still have not!
  23. It's surprising how little the Beast is mentioned in some of these old docs I've found, but it was the opening year so they probably how no idea how big of a hit it would be!
  24. What's it like working for Kings Island in 1979? August 15th pizza party and Beast rides, Saturday Night Fever, and a summer of love! Found during spring cleaning at home! I put some videos on my Instagram if you want to see more of inside the pamphlet. Pay was $2.80 an hour! No beards/sideburns for the guys!
