  1. Cincinnati is a beer drinkin town so no doubt KI has 2 great beer gardens! The one next to Diamondback is no doubt awesome, and the bartender that was working the 2x I went in July was such so great - giving samples, small talk, suggestions etc. Glad you guys had a great visit again!
  2. The year to visit Disney World, right? Tron, Guardians, and so much more..
  3. Cedar Fair probably bought a S&S spinner for parks to pump up the coaster count and restart the coaster wars you heard it here first!
  4. I just looked it up. 0-70! In 2000 that was very solid. Looks like it was an upcharge due to capacity. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  5. Is T4 a long running joke like Magnum sinking our are they really trying again to make T3 better with different trains? The keys to the kingdom event itinerary mentions getting a first look at the T4 train and there's an "ask your favorite youtuber if they are coming to T4 media day" time slot lmao
  6. You can't say that without posting a trip report!
  7. I'm thankful to be part of a TPR Skyrush hour ERT and I 1000% agree with this. I was pretty intimidated after my first and second ride, it was so wild. But then each ride you can learn how to take the turns, even put your arms up, and then after a dozen rides you are figuring it all out. There aren't many coasters I stop and think, Oh shit. I haven't been on ____ in a year. I need to get back asap. And Skyrush is definitely one of them. Oh and then there's the entire buffet of amazing coasters and flats Hershey sets out. Nice.
  8. All the locals with passes have been going to KI for years. They know at night is the best time to be there so I have full confidence the park will be close to limited capacity when open till 10pm.
  9. The helix on SFOG's Goliath is intense? Eh, that's a stretch IMO. The only helix on a B&M that has any great intensity that I've ridden, with an almost greyout, is Kumba. That's the point it still isn't even that intense haha
  10. I had nothing but 1000% smooth rides on each of my 7 rides and am surprised people are reporting on the helix inducing greyout. You'd think a park that is obsessed with helices would be able to have one as intense as Goliath at SFOG's but I'd say Stunt Coaster's hits way harder.
  11. I love Cornball. Same thoughts on Hoosier. It's the most tame gentle coaster, wish it had some airtime or.. something!
  12. What did he say to make you say that?
  13. Mr Freeze clones are amazing because of that vertical launch I am all about that upside down launch. Is that Perilous Plunge 2.0! Looks like the Dinosaur Park in China has almost the same thing. It is ready to go.
  14. I know they have a loyal group of scare actors, but I'm surprised that it a) they will have enough staff to cover haunts b) they will spend the $ on the extra workers c) will spend the extra $ on haunts. They have a brand new giant coasters, I'd think that's enough of a draw! But if it does happen good for them.
  15. Somehow Gemini finds a way to deliver not too light, not too strong airtime with those old Arrow trains and lap bars. The headchoppers throughout the ride never fail to make me wince, haha. I do have a soft spot for that twister section at the end of Rougarou, and the old school pre-drop dip-turn, but I like Gemini more overall.
  16. Should we expect greatness from every Cedar Point coaster? Ehhh... I don't hate it, it's just in a weird phase of life where it's not new, it was 'new', it's kinda old but not Vortex old..
  17. Just read that the waterpark is open, so interesting. It's a phenomenal waterpark, I think they have every model from ProSlide! Hope the dry park can open this year, I'd love to try Maxx Force.
  18. Funpix never seems to work very smoothly for me but finally got this fun little picture from Orion's photo booth. It was there my last visit but not earlier in July.
  19. Just looking at Hyperion's queue makes me feel like I'm having an aneurysm. Looking up the ticket cost, it's $35. I would gladly pay that just to ride the new Vekomas, Hyperion, and Zadra as much as I could.
  20. Oh man when it was that stupid Wild Thornberry elephant it just hooooosed you down!
  21. Great report, thanks for the write up. Glad you really enjoyed Outlaw Run, I was nervous you might be turned off if it was running a bit more intense than you remembered. That's a funny mention of the ride length re: Orion. Sounds like you had a nice place to stay! Happy to hear it was a well worth it trip.
  22. I went on it for the first time in years the other Friday! It's a nice little flume, just how I remembered - it just kinda rides along the trough and bumps around haha. It's from 1971, to be fair. Thankfully what used to be a firehose that would just drench the entire log has been toned down to a water fountain
  23. nice to see a report where trains are (for the most part) full and things are running like normal! Such a strange park, with what seems to be a killer top 5 on paper. I'm sure I'll get there eventually, hopefully Energylandia can be a better park.
  24. Sir, this is a theme park review, I'm gonna need ta see all review receipts of those uhhhh 8,079 Fer the rekerd, Orion was mine. And I ain't got not clue what number it was, but it was just fine.
