This trip has been has been euphoric and torture. It takes SO long to get in the park either by boat or waiting in the painful line to city walk with only 2 metal detectors. Even waking up at 630am isn't early enough. The day is over after dinner thanks to weather and it's so frustrating because the radar willl be clear then storms pop off at any moment. We've been cleared out of so many lines at night we have 4 Velocicoaster passes and 2 Hagrids passes so at least today the last day will be decent. ET has had major issues and so has Rip Ride Rocket so over 4 days we likely won't get on them, bummer. But anyways the rides and attractions are awesome when you get on them. Bourne was really cool! Everyone sends thoughts and prayers to Universal today please let this be a good last day

What's the best way to get into early entry from Royal Pacific? The line to get into City Walk stretches down the sidewalk to the hotel. Does the boat essentially skip the line or do you just have to get in line at 7am an hour before park/early entry open?

Crazy storms cleared out the park about 6pm and rained on and off the rest of the night which gave us flashbacks to our Hakugei rain ride haha. Mako is legit! What great B&M hyper and imo America's best, but complete with the trim and mcbr that takes the edge off right when you're like 'holy crap are they gonna let this fly'. Kraken was a disappointment for me, wow is that thing hideous! Infinity Falls was down and we never revisited the Ice Breaker/Falls are again since it's dead. Manta was fun by why do I have such better memories of Acrobat at Nagashima?!

So despite a laundry list of questionable choices and complaints about this park, we made the most of this 2 day visit. Absolutely BGT is a bucket list park with the legendary Kumba & Montu and they not only lived up to the hype but it's so great that they are SO SMOOTH! Riding Banshee 2 days ago it's laughable comparing old to new B&M. Kumba feels massive yet the stats have you thinking it's a smaller looper. What a beast. Not once did my head touch the OTSR, even on the cobra loop. Sheikra is my new favorite dive coaster. That backrow air is incredible! Cheetah Hunt is such a perfect family coaster. I love how the inversion is hidden way out in the Savannah and you could hear it take some guests by surprise. Loved the front row's airtime going up the tower and the back for the drop off. Falcon's Fury was life changing in a way I had only experienced similar to DoDoDonpa. What an insane, amazing, terrifyingly great ride. Gwazi was closed. Cobras Curse was closed. The safari up charge was 10000% worth it to hand feed giraffes! I'll post a more detailed trip report later, off to Orlando for Sea World and Universal for 4 days!

There are zero rules at this park. Hold your phone in one hand on any rides, smoke in line, skip the line..

Bummer to hear! I am wondering how often if at all the 2nd station in Cheetah Hunt is used. Not this weekend and it's got a 150 minute wait all day!

Not much better today. Montu never opened so that corner of the park is just a waste with Cobra's Curse also closed. Hope we are just getting bad days because this park is so beautiful and the coaster line up is top tier. The food and bev service is so dysmal and 90% of the staff can't even crack a smile, this is just such a strage park right now.

Sheikra has only been up for 10 minutes today but thankfully Cheetah Hunt is back up! Holy shit Flacon's Fury is life changing! Piggybacking off @robbalvey's recent topic, I'm astounded by how many smoking sections there are! More than open food and bev stations that's for sure. Is SEA/BUSCH the last park catering to that?

Bummer of a start to the day. Looks like Cobras Curse is down for the weekend and Cheetah Hunt showing no signs of life. No food and bev stands open yet either. It's 95 out here.

Racer: front or back car middle row Banshee: front for the views, back right for the airtime on the first drop and intense gs Flight of Fear: front car, I haven't done the back in a while since it can be rough Mystic Timbers: try the front! It's great anywhere, it's that fast Orion: try front and back, but it's relentless speed in every row. Diamondback: Row 2 to hang off the wing seats, very back row to reach back and touch the water spout. Row 10 is a favorite of mine too for a mix of floater + pull out of your seat since it's towards the back Bat: front is cool and back is great as well, has a nice airtime pop! Adventure Express: good anywhere Italian Stunt Copyright Coaster: back? It's been ages since I rode it Invertigo I haven't been on in ages... I'll be there to help escort you around the park one of the days for sure! Probably Friday.

Orion front row vs back row is a different experience, highly recommend checking out both rows! Banshee is running like it wants to be your favorite invert today, wow it's intense today! Saw spots multiple times and rode 3x in 30 minutes.

First time this year there I've visited and there's not a massive line of cars to get in. Will today finally be a normal weekday experience?! Edit: they do still play the pledge of allegiance over the speakers before park opening haha does any other park do this?

Weather looking perfect this week, curious to see how weekday crowds are. Looking forward to visiting the waterpark for the first time in ages, and hoping they open more slides since @Mike240SX 's visit.

Any entertainment/restaurant suggestions for my non park/arrival day in Tampa? It'll be a Friday. Looks like there's a brewery district and Arena district with waterfront restaurants. Any waterfront restaurants or bars you can vouch for would be great! Really excited for my first BGT visit. It looks like the Safari upcharge attraction doesn't take reservations online and is a first come first serve typa deal. Hopefully to get that locked up. Quick Queue is running $130 for next weekend! Whew!

To quote @robbalvey "Orion is FAST" Yep! And @jarmorit's totally a tease as the last sideways hill is the best part of the ride imo. but the beauty is if you get FL, you can ride it as many times as you want! And when you do that, you get to appreciate it so much more since it's such a quick ride.

Mason can be its own little weather bubble. Always breezy and a flat plateu before it gets a little hilly/uphill 71.

Row 2 is my favorite on Diamondback since you hang over the edge! It's excellent in the front, middle (row 6 or 10) and back, but that's where you feel the rattle. It's a ton of fun to reach behind and touch the water spouts on a hot day too!

Good news is rain won't shut things down. Unless there's lightning or a big downpour everything should be running. They may close early though if it's a washout. Boo Blasters is cool to see since it's an omnimover, Adventure Express has plenty of tunnels and so does Beast!
