  1. I'm thankful for my ride in the front seat during my 2002 trip. It was really educational, fun, and gave fantastic views....it really was something else! For one bad crash in nearly 40 years; I hope then still let people in the front cabin...it's a unique experience. But sad news; I'm afraid this will linger around Disney for a quite some time. -Zach
  2. Wow, cool playlist. I really, really need to hit this park up in December...
  3. I know exactly where you are coming from...New Mexico Rattler's drop is absolutely amazing in the back seat, for the same reasons you mentioned. But...the original Boardwalk Bullet drop in the back seat is the most extreme drop I have ever felt. It was seriously El Toro-like airtime just with a PTC lapbar...which means it was crazier. Too bad they smoothed it out (although it still rides great and has decent air, just not as good as the original). I can't wait to bite the bullet
  4. Voyage's is nice. So is Raven and Legend. BUT! The best so far for me.... Cornball Express! Laterals and ejector air. A speedy chain lift straight away; then BAM! Out of your seat and into the person/seat to your right. Awesome way to start an EPIC ride.
  5. Well, sometimes when ride ops are trying to handle a strict policy like loose articles or photos...they get a little carried away; jumble their words; and might say a few things they didn't mean, or come out right. I know I have a few times! I'm sorry to hear you experiences some under par ride ops. I've heard Cedar Point ops are a litttttle bit on edge (nothing against any of those reading, it's just what I've heard and experienced). I have NO idea why they would tell you that you're not allowed to take pictures inside the station, I've done it before! Some people are just looking to bust people. Thanks for the wonderful trip reports, you focus on things most people skip over! (like me!) Thanks! -Zach
  6. Water park photo TR's are awesome! Thanks for this! -Zach
  7. I **NEVER** thought that they would fit Diamondback's lift hill and first drop in Rivertown...it looked like there was an error! You'd be surprised what engineers can do. They're know what's going on! But a 230ft 42* lift hill and a 215ft 74* drop made it all work. -Zach
  8. A concrete wall. Yeah, it left a mark.
  9. As a Diamondback ride op; here's my advice for Diamondback. Don't go to it first. It's an excellent coaster when it comes to capacity, and it's very crowded until about 1-2PM. After that, it should only be about a 30-35 minute wait for a saturday. The single rider line should be 20 minutes. I suggest going to Firehawk and Flight of Fear first; they will be two of the longest waits. Then move onto Italian Job and Invertigo. The Beast is okay with capacity, I'd hit that at night and then get one last ride on Diamondback at night, too. Best Diamondback Seats: -Row 1 -Row 4 -Row 10 -Row 16 You should be able to hit them all with good timing! It's an excellent coaster, don't just ride it once! I'll be in Texas! -Zach
  10. We had two baby raccoons living with us for two weeks; it was so much fun! They were so soft and made the cutest noises...and they followed my around like I was their daddy! Awesome report! -JZ
  11. Bebes!!! What an awesome thread. A bunch of theme park photo tr's with a lot of great reviews and thorough info and opinions about the park. I'm loving every report! Are you heading to Kings Island anytime soon? -Zach
  12. Top Thrill Dragster makes me a little nervous. Steel Hawg is so insane, I'm always a little nervous during different elements. Lost Coaster makes me VERY, VERY, VERY nervous!
  13. -Tower of Terror; the 420ft Intamin 2nd Gen drop tower. -Shock Drop at Beech Bend -Wave Swinger at Indiana Beach -Acrophobia at SFOG I'm not really scared easily....but the rides above are freaky.
  14. Wow. It looks like a newer age Scandi Indiana Beach! And that's EPIC! What a great place that looks like. Most definitely a place to put on my list. Thanks for that update everyone!!! -Zach
  15. I've been on: -Top Gun:TJC/Afterburn -Raptor -Batman:TR at SFOG Batman BY FAR is the most intense I've been on. I've heard the most intense are: -Great White -Nemesis -Batman Clones
  16. Ok... If he was in a low zone, which I am assuming he was he should have know to put a lock out on the ride. If he would have put a lockout on then no one would have been able to start the ride, thus he would not have been injured. *Sighs*~Matthew Was about to say the same thing! It should have been in lock out mode.
  17. Holiday World ride ops walk across the track all the time! Granted it was for one train op rides, but I found it funny!
  18. Diamondback. It's smooth, a whole bunch of fun in every seat, comfortable, and awesome. I've ridden about 150+ times...and I never get tired of it!
  19. I can NOT wait for a press release and a layout. This should be HUGE!
  20. Awesome update Chuck! Your reports are priceless! -Zach
  21. Papa John's. Geuisseppi's on Hilton Head Island for original.
  22. I stopped on my way down to vacation...but turned around because the coasters weren't operating when I was there. For thirty bucks, no thanks...
  23. RCDB says: -Cost 100,000,000 SEK (about 9-10 million dollars). I'm not sure how credible that is, or what it covers. But it's usually a cheaper alternative for a park that's installing a big new ride.
