  1. USA !!! Cool pictures, by the way.
  2. I've never owned a 360 but I know a few people that have. My brother has gotten RRoD twice, and our friend three times. I bought my PS3 a month after release (60gb 1st Gen) and at first I hardly used it due to lack of games and lack of a good Television. After buying a 37" 1080p TV for Christmas... I now have about 12 games. The exclusives I own are Warhawk, Resistance 2, and LittleBigPlanet. But with all the other games, there is absolutely no problem finding players online (Battlefield: Bad Company, Call Of Duty 4, Rock Band 2). 360 has exclusives such as Halo and Left4Dead, but PS3 also has Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2 and others as exclusives. 360 you have to pay to play online... I think $10 a month, or something like that (Correct me if I'm wrong). But with the PS3 it's free to play games online. There is also Trophy support now. The new game, DC Universe Online, will supposedly be a Free To Play MMORPG with integration to play with players that are playing on PC (For a monthly fee) with is really cool. Blu-Ray, I own about 17 movies. Planet Earth, Rush (Live), The Dark Knight, A Clockwork Orange, Weeds (Season 1 and 2) etc, and have never had a problem playing any of the blu-ray discs, quality is always top knotch. They are going to start selling a Blu-Ray player add-on for the 360 (Fail HD-DVD) soon, but I hear it's going to cost between $150 and $200. If they end up doing the price drop on the PS3 in the coming months it will be (They're saying) $199, making it the SAME price as the 360. The PS3 already has a Blu-Ray player in it. The PS3 also has tons of extra features such as being able to plug in a portable HDD or a Memory Stick and being able to watch movies that were put on it. I've made backups of my Blu-Ray movies into .vob files on my PC and then can watch the Back Up of the movie straight through the Portable HDD. I've done this with The Nightmare Before Christmas, Horton Hears a Who, and others. I'd say go PS3.
  3. I've got your shaft of terror... sorry, I had to. Nice drawings by the way
  4. Went today with a few peeps from here. They were working on the lift all afternoon. No track, just supports still.
  5. I hate doing this, but... Really, no comments? I'd like some constructive criticism to know how to make my coasters better.
  6. I've been playing with NL for a few years now and am now finally pleased enough with one of my projects to post it. Sensi Star is a GCI woodie, no real inspiration besides the way GCI uses transitions. I've been working on this for a few days, and even though it's not finely tuned, I think it's good enough to share. Name: Sensi Star Height: 112ft Speed: 53mph Length: 3513.65ft Let me know what you think! NOTE: No AHG Used! All heartlining and smoothing was done by hand. Woodmagic 1.3 used with some support edits. Overview. High-Speed turn around. -1.6g's in the back row. Fast turns. Going down? Sensi Star.nltrack
  7. Thanks gerd.muller, hansrubens, printersdevil78 and to all that are voting! Voting ends at the end of this week, and we still need more.
  8. Before I get flamed, I checked with Robb and he said this would be alright. I've seen a few threads asking for help with winning contests, and from my observation TPR is a very helpful community. Now I need your help. My boyfriend's band, Forever From Now, is in a local radio contest (Best local band in Orlando), and is up against some serious competition, so we would love to have your help. If they win it could potentially mean getting to play the largest concert that radio station, let alone Orlando hosts (Earthday Birthday). As well as having two songs professionally recorded and a potential record deal. Here's the voting link: WJRR - Best Band Voting Forever From Now is located at the very bottom left-hand corner with their song "When the world sees Orange". Easy to follow instructions for voting (Hey, the government thinks we need these): 1. Hit the circle next to their name 2. Enter Email 3. Hit Vote 4. Validate E-mail You do have to validate the e-mail to make sure you're a real person, but they WILL NOT spam, so don't worry. They only accept one vote per e-mail, but if you have the time, or are feeling generous, you can make multiple e-mail accounts to vote. Here's the band's Myspace as well: http://www.myspace.com/foreverfromnow Thank you for your time! Forever From Now

  12. I live in Winter Park, FL, 15min away from Universal. I even have a season pass that is registered to the E-mail I entered with, and I still won.
  13. Really, it's not targeting families for the ride, just the aquarium. The vid shows a boy (Teen) walking through the aquarium, then riding the ride. The only time it shows someone under the height requirement is inside the aquarium.
  14. ... you can strum hammer-ons.
  15. ^ Is it supposed to be spelled wrong?
  16. I believe I heard that Goliath has 3 seconds of airtime on the hill after the first turnaround.
  17. Did that say "Praise Jesus"? Oh please tell me it did!
  18. My layout is done. I'm too lazy to support. Meh.
  19. I kind of wish they did the MCBR like they did the lift, with catwalks on either side, but nothing to obstruct the view below you. If they did have to do an emergency evacuation, they could just use a moving platform like they have on the lift.
  20. Summer 09 now... Guess they're behind schedule
  21. Funny news, because I just saw someone today at work wearing a HRP Grand Opening T-Shirt. It said something along the lines of "It's just the beginning" ... beginning of the end, huh?
  22. Simpsons, not to sound rude... but please read the TOS before posting. These topics seem pretty pointless. Also, Disaster is spelled wrong.
  23. In reality, I don't think you need to pass a literacy test to get a job at McDonalds.
