  1. Lost Coaster Of Hard Rock Park or LoCoHaRoPa?
  2. Artist: Pendulum Song: Showdown Album: In Silico
  3. Muse's new album is great, one of the best, if not the best from them, in my opinion. (Yes, I own all their albums and all their unreleased songs). They have been progressively using more and more harmonies, but each song sounds different to me. They do use some of their old style in their newer songs, but while doing so, they still push it ahead. For example, I do hear a lot of Origin of Symmetry/Absolution influences in their song "Unnatural Selection" from their new album... but they use more vocal harmonies and more synth. As for The Offspring, I own all their albums too. Smash is their best album in my opinion. True Offspring punk with some good messages to society. Their newer stuff has become a bit more "Experimental" especially with their Poppish songs from Conspiracy of One and Splinter... even going into more general Alternative with Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. My opinion on them... stick with anything pre-Americana if you want classic Punk, or post-Americana if you want more of their Poppy side.
  4. Went today and got a new song to add: 116 - Mexicola by Queens of The Stone Age I decided to pick #116 because it has not been "Discovered" yet and was psyched that they picked a Queens of The Stone Age song! Especially a not well known song. They're one of my favorite bands.
  5. 5,123. All correctly tagged, and with most of the album artwork. Adding more every day though. I'd also say about 50% of my music is in a Lossless format. (Flac/ALAC/Wav) and not .mp3.... blah, mp3's. 81.99 gigs total in just music.
  6. Haha, oops. Was just in a rush typing those. It's spelled correctly in my iTunes.
  7. Some New Tracks: 114: Just Because - Jane's Addiction 128: Vertigo - U2 129: Wheel In The Sky - Journey 130: Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who 710: Painkiller - Judas Priest 711: Paranoid - Black Sabbath 715: Wake Up Dead - Megadeth And "Diary of Jane" is by the band Breaking Benjamin, you may want to change that around as all the others are [song - Artist]
  8. Before getting Diary of Jane for a hidden track, one of the employees I talked to (Some girl, forgot her name) asked if I had ridden the ride before. I said yes and mentioned I was discovering the hidden tracks. She asked which ones I got, and I said only Stockholm Syndrome. She then preceded to ask which number I was going to pick, and I said 124. "Oh, I know which one that is!" she said and asked if I listened to rock music and the local radio station, 101.1 WJRR, I said yes, and she said "Then you'll know it". After that I asked if there was a list of the hidden bonus tracks that the staff gets to look at. She said that there is bonus track listing and that they had it out for the employees for only half a day before the managers removed it telling the staff "We want you to find them on your own and it be a surprise". When the train pulled back in the station she asked me "So, how was your ride listening to Diary of Jane?" which leads me to believe that she knows more of the hidden tracks, which I will ask her about next time I go. So yes, there is a list floating around somewhere at Universal. Now, if only someone could be the mole and get their hands on it
  9. Went today, waited for about 30min in the Single Rider's line, normal line was 90min. I did get a new song to add to the list: #124: Breaking Benjamin - Diary Of Jane Fit really well with the ride, even though it wasn't edited to fit.
  10. ^ Probably after it's been redesigned to make it less hideous.
  11. I believe the park closes at 7 now. So yeah... no night time rides until the end of September when HHN starts.
  12. Just got back from riding Rockit again. We got there at 10, the ride didn't open until 10:40. We waited an hour after entering the queue. Anyway, I did get a hidden bonus track! #123 is Muse - Stockholm Syndrome! To get to the hidden songs, hold the "Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit" logo at the top of the touch pad for a long 5 seconds. Let go and a number pad will appear. Hit a number 031 - 999 and you'll get a song. My ride on it today was MUCH better than it was on Monday. The block breaks aren't as harsh anymore and you really fly through them now. The shake seems to be less too, at least in the train I was riding.
  13. "Bring Me To Life" was as long as the ride, but, it was also edited to make the song shorter. I know the songs from Crystal Method and some of the other Electronica bands are near 6 minutes long. They're just shortened to the ride's length... they did a good job editing though. And if #123 is a song by Muse.... OMFG!!!!!!!! Will be my favorite ride EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely try this next time. Sorry... had to get that out.
  14. You were in line about 30 feet behind me the second time you rode (When you took the video of the transfer track), I thought I recognized you, haha. I didn't think the the ride was rough at all, but of course, I don't mind rough coasters. I sat in the front row on the right hand side and chose "Bring me to Life" for my song choice because I heard it worked well, and it did. The ride was pretty quick with a few decent pops of air, but they were kind of abrupt and sudden. If it weren't for the shakiness of the train, I think it would've been more "flowing". The train did wobble a bit... if anyone has ridden Hypersonic XLC, it's kind of like that, but on a lesser scale. The sound system was excellent! I could clearly hear my music, but none of the rider's around me. The best element had to be the non inverting loop. It's pretty much what you expect it to be, but with a bit more air at the top that I anticipated. I waited two hours. For a first ride, it was worth it, I'll probably end up waiting it again though.
  15. Any ride with a little vibration is considered "Rough" these days it seems. People just need to suck it up. I've been told the ride is great... so I guess it's very mixed. Some people probably just hate it on principal because it took so long to get the ride open. They probably went on with the mindset that it was going to be super awesome and were let down, or just went in thinking it was going to be really crappy. I'm just gonna go on it and ride it for what it is.
  16. Is it sad that I liked the coaster better without the banner?
  17. Try paying $80 and not getting free drinks. Welcome to Orlando. The lady in the last picture, she was so nice! I got to meet her on the TPR Midwest Trip.
  18. Honestly, it wasn't a question towards you, it was just a general question. I don't see why it needs to go into PM's, especially when you're so insistent that you have to post five separate posts to convey one message. It really is part of the topic too, you brought up a 9 foot difference in Silver Star, and people are just wondering why you're pushing that fact so hard. So the MAJORITY of B&M coasters except for ONE has lifts that are under 230'. I'll say again that B&M coasters seem like they'd be more expensive than those from other companies. Less use of steel, not as many parts to the trains... Dishing out 24+ Million for a coaster is a BIG investment. (Looking at Diamond Back then adding 2mil for Silver Star's longer length.) Millennium Force was $25 Million and is 6595ft long, while Silver Star, being a rough $24 Million is over 1300ft shorter. Including 100ft shorter in height. Yeah, cost is a big factor... a 300+ ft B&M coaster would fall around... 30+ Million. That's A LOT of money for a park to invest in ONE ride. Unless you're Disney and can dish out 100+ Million for a glorified Vekoma.
  19. ^ Don't even say that. Arrow's vertical loops are in a league of their own, I love them! The intensity in the front or back rows is awesome! (Though, they don't touch Schwarzkopf) As people have mentioned before, a medium sized wooden coaster that uses the terrain would be a nice addition. I can just see a Hercules style turn over the water. A custom Intamin Plug-and-play would be excellent! They could totally have that at a 42" high requirement.
  20. I have a thing for Arrow suspended coasters, even though I've only been on Iron Dragon and BBW. I had the chance to ride Big Bad Wolf two years ago and I thought it was a fantastic ride! Everyone that rode it left with a smile. Kids and adults could ride it together, it was really the perfect family thrill ride. I thought it was one of the best coasters at BGE. Apollo, Griffon, Lochness, and Alpengeist were all trimmed beyond belief! (To the point where there was NO air on Apollo). Though Big Bad Wolf was hardly trimmed at all! The only trim was on the final drop, but it only touched the last car, and was hardly noticeable (Besides that horrible scraping noise). It is definitely sad to see this ride go, especially when my partner and I were going to go to the park next year. He really wanted to ride an Arrow Suspended, too.
  21. Millennium Force was kind of that way. After watching all those shows on the Travel Channel and reading a lot about it, I couldn't WAIT to ride. The first drop and view were the only redeeming qualities about the ride.
  22. There was a bit of a rumor that it was going to have it's first soft opening (Or Technical Rehearsal as USO calls them) this weekend.
  23. More like 5 or 6 depending on traffic. 5 or 6!? Sure, if you're driving 40 mph. Kind of have to... damn senior Florida drivers.
  24. I for one will be listening to Midnight Rider on my first ride. I can't wait!
