Hershey lists a lot of discounts on their ticket ordering page. I think the main for them is through CVS Pharmacy. -

^ You got it. It really isn't that hard to find. Just go west to MGM and turn right. -

Favorite pre- 1980's coaster
CoasterFanatic replied to CP_fan_boy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Phoenix I know it has only been at Knoebels for 20 years, but it is considerably older than that. -
I used the Google API to create a custom page with the parks you were looking for. Unfortunately, i could not find most of them and instead plotted the city center of the city which they are located in. I was able to find the exact location of: Bakken Mirabilandia Disney Paris Here is the map (Takes a couple seconds to load): http://www.coasterfanatics.com/files/ukmap.asp

Google's Satellite Maps...

^ Actually I had all the data already (proximaty features are already on the site - nearby parks, etc) so it wasn't too bad. -
Google's Satellite Maps...
CoasterFanatic replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I figured I would bump this to the top, so you could look at one of my latest creations. Google has released the API for their new online aerial photo collection. I took a few minutes and whipped up some XML to import all the parks I had any location data. Check it out: http://www.coasterfanatics.com/map.asp Warning - The code is very, very JavaScript heavy and will probably take about 30 seconds or so to load on the average machine. -
What is your favorite band?

I really can't narrow it down, so here are a few: They Might Be Giants Fantomas (Feat: Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, Buzz, and Dave "SLAYER" Lombardo) Del McCoury and the Boys Elvis Costello[/url] -
I don't watch a lot of TV but the following list makes up about 90% of my viewing: MythBusters Jeopardy Sopranos Family Guy 30 Days

Photo TR: Robb's Trip Around The World!
CoasterFanatic replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Good to see you made it back home, Robb. I enjoyed reading the updates (as always). Trust me, the airports in my neck of the woods are just as capable of this crap. PIT usually takes me 60-75 minutes to get my bags. It is just rediculous when any other airport has them on the belt in 15-20. -
Catrina's Grandma was celebrating her 85th birthday, so her family decided to throw her a suprise party at her Uncle's Farm. So the story begins ... No rodents were injured in the making of this Random Photo TR! The festivities were starting to die down, so Catrina's cousin and his friends demonstrated their bow skills. Everybody posed for pictures with Grandma. Here I am shaking it off. I look so happy. Don't I? Catrina's cousin thought it would be funny to douse me with ice cold water. No, Chad was not adopted. He is a friend of the family. Everybody lines up for some grub. Time to blow out the candles. At 85, I think this woman could still kick my ass. The cake Basically everything you can see in this picture makes up about 15% of her Uncle's farm. Take that you city boy. Catrina's Uncle had to build a new barn at his farm this summer after the previous one burned down. Not too shabby. Welcome to Maple Valley Farms

Defunct Thrill And Kiddie Rides
CoasterFanatic replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
http://www.defunctparks.com is a good start even though it hasn't been updated in like 3 years. http://www.rcdb.com also has a search feature where you can list only defunct rides. Hope this helps -
Shouldn't it be "Banishment"? 6/10

I hope that you do give the Raven another chance one day. You probably rode it in the worst possible timeframe (early morning). Unfortunately, Raven is one of those rides that really comes alive later in the evening. Looks like you had a great time. We kind of lucked out with the waterpark lines when we went. -

^ Suck it up. It's all part of the experience. Seriously, the G-Forces on most coasters are so brief that they barely have any effect on the human body. Personally, I am very sensitive to g-force. Catrina always give me a bunch of crap when i make funny faces through the loops on Laser and the Helix of Doom on Goliath.

^ Especially seeing as one of them is at SFGAdv and they have some very bad memories related to that sort of thing.
