I really think that GL is in better hands with CF. 2004 was twice as good as 2003 2005 is twice is good as 2004 2006 ... we will see. -

Then maybe you can explain this to me. Why can't I have a straw, but I can purchase a crazy straw attached to a large plastic "tuna sammich"? // curious -
^ What the hell is that all about. I have never heard one single bad story about anyone that visited a park with an ACE Member. If anything, I think it would almost lend some credibility. // most ACErs are very nice

I don't see Cedar Fair unloading this park anytime soon. Anyone who has attended the park this summer knows first hand how much Cedar Fair has done to improve the place. The Waterpark Project will help alot, and the first phase is VERY nice. Can't wait to see it when it is completely finished. Let's not forget the train wreck (http://www.thrillnetwork.com/stories_view.php/45) that Cedar Fair inherited when they purchased this park. I am sure that they knew what they were getting into. -

^ Awesome. On your next Cedar Point, I expect a couple of cases of Anchor to be delivered to my home in WV. Do you need the address? -

Your not crazy that did happen. IOA searched for it for a couple of days before purchasing the man a new prosthetic. -
We used to have a Tim Hortons in Downtown Weirton. I always found it odd, because there wasn't another anywhere us. The closest one was probably in Canada!

Some Pepsi cans have coupons for $10 off at Kennywood (Only Weekdays) Some Pepsi cans have coupons for $10 off at Cedar Point (Anyday) If you are driving from Darien to the falls, you may want to look into quick pit stops at Martins Fantasy Island and Marineland. If you haven't been to either, they are both on the way. Make sure you grab a Primanti Sandwich (with a cold Iron City) in Pittsburgh

I think you will find that the enthusiast that visit many parks will weighing much less on the average than the collective of enthusiasts. Most of the enthusiasts that you find at ACE events and such, don't go to parks nearly as much as some of the younger (and crazier) folk. When I lived in Florida and had a season pass to Disney, I was in the best shape of my life. I would guess that an average Epcot visit for me was at least 11-12 miles of walking.

Millie is running more than 400pph. That is a rediculous exageration. It still isn't running anywhere near what it should though. Most of the delays are caused by people who don't fit the belts. Pretty sad as most of them fit the test seat. They really need to do something about this ride. Millie has the most simplistic blocking system ever. If the brakes are clear at the end. It send the train over the first hill. Between the lift and the final brake consititutes one block. -

http://www.whentoride.com // Shameless Plug Millie has been running pretty slow lately. Save Raptor and Mantis for later in the day. They seem to really pull alot of people early. I will be there Saturday. -

^^ I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza in Downtown Allentown. It can be had for around $60 on Hotwire. If you see a high-rated hotel for about $60 in Allentown, it is the Crowne Plaza. Probably about 3-4 miles from the park. King Beds rock! Fancy Pillows Fancy Bathrooms Very Plush Location is a little bit different story, but not too bad.
